Alternatively, you may provide your cell phone number in order to be notified by text when a new paid survey becomes available.

Payment and Rewards

Rack up Points

Each time you take a survey, you will earn points for your opinions. Screener surveys (short surveys) are worth between 5 – 50 points, or an entry into a monthly draw, and are 20 questions or less. Longer surveys offer points ranging from 100 – 5,000.

Points Value: 1,000 points = $10.00. 1 ACOP point therefore equals 1 cent.

Great Reward Options

As a panelist of ACOP, you must have a 1,000 point minimum balance ($10 worth) to redeem your points. Once you have reached this minimum, you may redeem your balance for the following options:

  • PayPal: For most countries, use PayPal to cash out your earnings in a simple and easy manner. If you decide to use PayPal as your cash out option, make sure your PayPal email matches the email you used to sign up with American Consumer Opinion.
  • Hyperwallet: Like PayPal, Hyperwallet is a user-friendly payment platform that operates in 170+ countries. Allow 8-12 weeks for payment and receive a confirmation email once your money is available.
  • Sweepstakes Cash Out: Use your points toward sweepstakes entries that give you a chance to win a variety of lucrative prizes. (Note that once a sweepstakes has been entered using your points, you do not get your points back, even if you are not selected as a winner).
  • Charity Donations: Choose to donate your money to a variety of credible charities.

Survey Taking Experience

American Consumer Opinion Surveys

ACOP offers online surveys to its members that are interesting and quick, with the average survey taking approximately 10 minutes to complete.

In addition to online surveys, participate in other research opportunities such as product testing, focus groups, and judging the newest advertising campaigns. You can expect to receive invitations for participation from American Consumer Opinion several times a year.

Member's Tip! Ensure you add [email protected] to your approved senders list to ensure you receive survey invitation emails in your inbox.

Household Surveys

A few times a year ACOP sends out a survey that pertains to each household. The survey asks what products and services you use on a day-to-day basis. If you participate in this survey, you will be more likely to receive additional future survey invitations, which can translate into earning more points!

I think I'm done wtih this one

September 17, 2010 by Beth from United States

I joined almost three months ago and I have yet to get anything from them. I did get one and my computer kicked me out of it. I haven't heard much from them since, and I have no surveys coming in. I think it's time to cut myself loose from them.

Too few surveys

September 17, 2010 by Emily from United States

Very few surveys from this site. Not to get rich from this site, that's for sure. Too long between surveys. Not worth the time to wait to accumulate enough to cash out.

May have been lucky.

I have been with this site for about two months. I have received three surveys. One was for 8 dollars and took me about 20 minutes. One was for 3.50 wich took me about 10 mins. The real paying survey was 30 dollars and it took me about 1 hour to complete. They dont send many surveys but im still happy

Not bad...except for...

Generally a very good company. Not many surveys, but worth being signed up for. Their incentives are reasonable for the survey length. This is how survey companies should do business...you get some and they get some. My only issue is with that one "screener" they send out pretending it is leading to a real survey, but it is actually the survey itself. The one where they want to know every product you have bought in the past three months, how much you paid, where you shopped and bought...give me a break. Skip that one (it is the one where they DO NOT mention any incentive... otherwise very good site.
