We’ve been selecting our top 5 survey sites for the year for officially a decade now (see below for links to prior year’s picks). Our selections are for people of all types; whether you’ve taken a survey before and want to know who the best providers are, have never taken one at all, or are just curious in general, our top picks list will help you out.
You may be wondering how we go about picking the top survey sites of 2023. Here is the criteria we have used for years, and which has served us well:

Their transparency is unparalleled – something both we and more importantly, their survey takers, appreciate.
What it’s like taking surveys for them:
Once you join PaidViewpoint (which is as simple as filling out a very basic registration form), you’ll see your account credited with the $1.00 joining bonus. Under your account balance, you’ll see the number of surveys available for you to take. Once you complete $15 worth of studies, you can cash out your earnings for your first PayPal payment. Rewards are issued within a speedy 72 hours of request.
- PaidViewpoint surveys are short, to the point and easy to complete. You also won’t ever get disqualified from completing a survey (unlike most other survey sites).

Feedback for Tellwut is consistently positive and it’s common to have users participate on the platform for years. A new addition to this year’s top survey sites list is Freecash – a GPT site that has skyrocketed in popularity in the past year. While not strictly a survey site (GPT stands for get-paid-to), it offers a plethora of earning opportunities for people around the world. They regularly hold fun contests and sweepstakes where users have monthly, weekly and sometimes even daily opportunities to win prizes. Their engagement with their community is very strong, giving them a unique edge.
Why we like Freecash:
It’s hard to beat Freecash’s minuscule payment threshold and lightning-fast payments. Request a payment with as little $0.50 in your account, and receive your rewards within 5-10 minutes of request (with the exception of PayPal rewards). Participate in fun contests, including opening ‘prize cases’ where you can instantly win up to $250 just for joining the website. Most users have positive things to say about PrizeRebel, as they’ve been a stalwart in the GPT space for over 15 years. They have issued millions in dollars in rewards to their members and they offer a good user experience. Choose from a wide variety of ways to earn on the site: completing surveys, filling in offers, watching online videos, completing micro tasks, referring friends, and more. What Changed from Last Year’s Rankings
There are a few notable differences from 2022’s list of top survey sites to this year’s. The biggest change is adding Freecash to the list while giving PrizeRebel an honorable mention, instead of a spot in the top 5.
Based on the rave reviews left for Freecash and their strong engagement with their community via contests and communication on social media, we felt the need to include them in this year’s list. They are keen on growing their international community and are innovative in terms of the rewards they offer (crypto, video game skins, in addition to gift cards and PayPal). They award anywhere from $40,000 to $60,000 in payments to their users every day, making them a very active community where users have good earning potential.
We gave PrizeRebel an honorable mention this year, as although they continue to be a strong GPT site, not much has changed in the past year. Although the site remains popular and reviews are generally positive, there hasn’t been much in terms of introducing new earning opportunities, rewards, or adding new features to the website. Their community of 12 million users keeps them in a favorable position however, and we hope to see some innovation from them in 2023.
