Payment and Rewards

Earn e-Rewards

Earn Opinion Points/e-Rewards currency for taking surveys. Exchange your points for gift cards, magazine subscriptions, hotel reward points, and airline points. Choose from over 30 different retailers to redeem gift cards with, including Best Buy, CVS Pharmacy, Walmart, Macy's and more. You may redeem a gift card only once per quarter with most gift card options.

Prizes

e-Rewards can also be redeemed towards prizes. Many prizes come in the form of discounts towards purchasing products and services they provide.

Redeem Your e-Rewards Currency

In most cases, your account will be credited as soon as you complete a survey. However, in some cases the credit may take up to 7 days to appear on your account. Similarly, e-Rewards sends most electronic gift cards immediately upon request (within one hour). Most physical gift cards will be sent out within 4-6 weeks of redemption.

e-Rewards also requires mobile and landline verification in order to redeem your rewards. This verification helps you keep your rewards secure. For data security, they will need to verify your account with a valid US mobile or landline number in order to redeem your reward. Once you provide your number, you will receive a verification code via that number that you will need to enter in order to finalize the redemption process.

You can redeem your e-Rewards Currency/Opinion Points as soon as you accumulate enough to qualify for the reward you desire (the lowest gift card option is $10).

NOT GREAT

HAS GOOD POINTS IF YOU TRAVEL BUT TAKES A LONG TIME TO ACCUMULATE POINTS

reward didn't work

September 3, 2015 by Shari from United States

I have taken surveys for about three years and generally been okay with e-rewards despite the sometimes dodgy "qualification" in which you take all or most of a survey and then are disqualified. I could live with that nonsense since they give token amounts for any activity.

However, what I could not live with was a reward that was issued that did not work and how unhelpful their people were. First, they sent me boilerplate replies that did not address my problem. Second, they claimed that I was mistaken. Third, they sent another boilerplate. After sending several screen shots, they told me that I sent the wrong code (the code from a previous redemption). When the code finally worked (after about 8 frustrating exchanges with e-rewards and others with Starbucks), they essentially blamed me. I've done this many times. I used my redemption history and entered the proper code. It did not work. They fixed it then lied about the cause.

If you have any problems with the rewards, you will have to spend a ton of time and may not get it. I would not trust them.

eRewards Bamboozlement

August 31, 2015 by Trey from United States

In the past year 2 years, eRewards has engaged in questionable practices. I’ve been engaged in surveys for well over 20 minutes and received; “technical difficulties,” or "you don't qualify." I already completed the survey! This is not brain surgery. Given the detail of the questions it does not take a genius to know you are taking the survey and after 20-30 minutes you completed it!

I have received no credit after completing a survey I do qualify for as the page will freeze. This has happened too often to not be an isolated event, or you will get .25 after 20-30 minutes of providing specific detailed information indicating “you don’t qualify” for the survey. These Shenanigans seem to increase the closer you are to an incremental reward. $10-$25-$50....if this makes you angry enough to quit, you lose the entire balance in your account.

Erewards is getting paid for the surveys you are providing for free or .25 under the guise you will actually be paid what was indicated “if you qualify.” I have seen this same complaint about eRewards all over the Internet.

They seem to pay out a certain number of surveys and gather the rest of their data for free or for .25!

It never used to take 20+ minutes to determine if I qualified for a survey. My profile has been provided to eRewards. Your age; sex, income, country, state, city or town, household composition, education, employment, etc. is pretty much what is needed to determine if you qualify for a survey.

I just participated in an eRewards survey where all of the above was provided as well as all of my "smart" appliances to include; hand held devices, computers, tablets, door locks, security cameras, thermostats, smoke alarms, streaming devices like Apple TV, Roku, etc., how often I shop at Walmart, K-Mart, Sams, Costco, Best Buy, Target, and Menards and a few others. I was asked if I will be in the market any time soon for any of those devices. I was asked about my WIFI service, if I had upgraded it to boost more WIFI power into my home. I was also asked what 5 words come to mind when you hear the word “smart house.” My responses: Security, Convenience, Communications, Entertainment, Efficient. After providing all of this very detailed information and more, "sorry you don't qualify for this survey." Further, I do have and will be purchasing some of those items in the near future.

There was a cosmetics survey that I did that lasted 30 plus minutes. A multitude of questions about foundation, lip stick, moisturizer, eye lashes, mascara, cosmetic tools, nail polish, colors, every brand, where I purchased these items and every detail of what I use regularly and how often and what my opinions were of the products and what comes to mind when I look at some packaging they showed me, etc. and what prompted me to buy them..then .25 and “sorry you don’t qualify for this survey?” Rubbish.

eRewards is engaging people in surveys under the pretense they will be paid. People are actually taking and completing their survey, but are told they didn't qualify or survey takers will experience technical difficulties so the participants account does not get credited.

Letters need to be written to all the corporate offices of their partners, Southwest Airlines, Macy’s, Outback Steak House, etc.

eRewards, and any other entity conducting business in this manner need to be reported to the proper governing entities including the Better Business Bureau and The Bureau of Consumer Protection.

Always Emailed Surveys

This survey site is pretty good. I always receive emails and usually always qualify. I've cashed out numerous times and enjoy taking part in this site.

Not able to redeem points

August 17, 2015 by Andrew from United States

I have not been able to redeem the points from eReward for 6 months, the customer services has not been helpful, I did everything they ask and still does not work. It worked for me last two years, and only starting to happen in 2015, I am wondering if they are still functioning, they will give me the run around and tell me they do not know what to do, but still no have give me any suggestion about how to redeem my points. Very frustrating.
