Payment and Rewards

Earn e-Rewards

Earn Opinion Points/e-Rewards currency for taking surveys. Exchange your points for gift cards, magazine subscriptions, hotel reward points, and airline points. Choose from over 30 different retailers to redeem gift cards with, including Best Buy, CVS Pharmacy, Walmart, Macy's and more. You may redeem a gift card only once per quarter with most gift card options.

Prizes

e-Rewards can also be redeemed towards prizes. Many prizes come in the form of discounts towards purchasing products and services they provide.

Redeem Your e-Rewards Currency

In most cases, your account will be credited as soon as you complete a survey. However, in some cases the credit may take up to 7 days to appear on your account. Similarly, e-Rewards sends most electronic gift cards immediately upon request (within one hour). Most physical gift cards will be sent out within 4-6 weeks of redemption.

e-Rewards also requires mobile and landline verification in order to redeem your rewards. This verification helps you keep your rewards secure. For data security, they will need to verify your account with a valid US mobile or landline number in order to redeem your reward. Once you provide your number, you will receive a verification code via that number that you will need to enter in order to finalize the redemption process.

You can redeem your e-Rewards Currency/Opinion Points as soon as you accumulate enough to qualify for the reward you desire (the lowest gift card option is $10).

Deceptive Redemption Rate

March 18, 2015 by Katie from United States

I sorely regret wasting my time on this company. They send a few surveys each week and I qualified for about a fifth of them. After a couple month, I was had a $15 account balance, so I decided to redeem it for a Starbucks gift card. Well guess what? You need a minimum of $75 to get a $25 Starbucks gift card. Same with Walmart. Same with Kohls. The only thing I was eligible to buy with $15 was a $10 off $50 coupon for Macy's. Why would I pay for a coupon they regularly send in the mail for free? Here is the kicker: there are no reward categories for which the exchange rate is dollar for dollar. So when they send you an email and say "You'll earn $6 for completing this survey" they are blatantly lying to you. You will not earn $6 - you will earn $6 in E-Rewards funds, for which the redemption value is dismal. Don't waste your time on this deceptive company.

Not bad, but...

They offer a good variety of surveys every week and credit your account for both qualified (pays full amount) and unqualified (pays 25 cents or so) surveys. Their rewards are funny: $60.00 in currency can be redeemed for a $25.00 gift card. Sounds cheap.

At least they offer eGift cards that can be used online right away instead of waiting for a physical git card to be mailed to you. Some rewards (like Game Stop gift cards) have limits on how often you can redeem them (once per calendar quarter) while others have no restrictions.

Becoming Less and Less Impressed

February 28, 2015 by Trish from United States

E-Rewards used to be my go-to survey company. I usually could count on the surveys to be straightforward, free of technical errors, and available rewards. What I particularly appreciated was knowing right away whether I qualified for a survey or not. As of February 2015, I am finding that I do not qualify for the lion's share of surveys I start to take. While that in and of itself is more of a nuisance, what's really chapped my hide is that I'm being disqualified after I'm answering quite a few questions beyond the standard demographics items. In essence, I feel E-Rewards is not honoring its contract with members, using our time and effort strictly for a one-sided gain. I imagine a lawyer might be interested in pursuing the legality of E-Rewards actions with consumers if doing so would merit any money.

No rewards available!

February 3, 2015 by Paul from United Kingdom

This survey company really has gone down the pan recently. For months now on the UK site, most decent rewards "OUT OF STOCK" - no Amazon vouchers, No The Hut vouchers, No IWOOT vouchers, No Lookfantastic vouchers, no My Protein - you get the picture. And this has been the case for a few months now - SO, if you're thinking of joining, don't bother - their customer service is terrible.

Pretty good

No issues with this panel. Surveys are relatively frequent and you get some points even if you are screened out. Unlike some others you don't get 3/4 of the way through a survey before they kick you off.

Everything works as it should and I have never had any issues with rewards not being credited etc.

I exchange my points into the IHG loyalty scheme. As I am a frequent user of Holiday Inn these are a nice little earner for free stays.
