Electronic Rewards

Harris Poll offers their members the opportunity to earn points, known as HIpoints in exchange for their participation. Once you earn 1250 points (worth $10), you can request an e-gift voucher from places like Amazon, iTunes, Starbucks, Walmart, ESPN, and more. You may also be entered into sweepstakes after each completed survey for even more chances of winning big.

Get Disqualified, But Still Have a Chance to Win!

If you attempt to complete a survey, but are disqualified in the process, you will receive an entry into the Harris Panel Sweepstakes. You will be also be offered the opportunity to try qualifying for other available surveys.

Survey Lengths

Online surveys typically take anywhere between 5-25 minutes to complete. Short surveys will take around 5 minutes, and very long ones are around 25 minutes. These reasonable survey lengths will keep your attention and prevent you from getting bored too quickly! There are special surveys on offer as well including special focus groups, telephone based surveys, and even surveys about independently downloaded software. Common survey topics, however, range from fashion to movies to shopping habits.

Participate Often

Expect to receive between 3-5 online surveys a month.

Earn Points

Even if you are disqualified from completing a survey, expect to receive around 15 HIpoints! The amount of points you get per survey varies depending on the length or complexity of the survey.

Harris Poll now has an app, available on iOS and Android. The mobile apps will require you to login with your Harris credentials. Using the app allows you to see survey opportunities, take surveys, participate in special research programs and access your rewards. Turn on your notification settings for the app to receive new survey opportunities in real time.

Cashing Out

After you have reached 1250 points, you are able to redeem your HIpoints for e-cards and gift vouchers. Most people who participate, reach this threshold after completing around 10 surveys. Rewards include e-cards or gift vouchers from Amazon, iTunes, Starbucks and more.

Rewards Processing Times

Redeem your rewards and receive them within 15 business days. They will be sent to your e-mail account. Most rewards will be credited to your account within 10 minutes of your participation, but occasionally it may take as long as 24 hours for the credit to appear in your account. If you are redeeming your HIpoints, you will receive your e-code within 24-48 hours of cashing in your HIpoints. If you have cashed in for physical merchandise, you will receive your merchandise via USPS within 7-14 business days. All costs of rewards (including shipping and handling) are covered by Harris Poll, unless you are redeeming products using an e-certificate.

You earn an entry if you have been disqualified for surveys, as well as for actions like participating in short surveys that may not award points. I don't know what these other people are smoking. I've gotten $125 in >1yr. from Walmart so far. I use their shop tracker so that's 300 points a month. I can see time being an issue, but surveys aren't supposed to replace income. I enjoy a basically free gift card every couple of months. And as for the not qualifying for surveys, although frustrating, that can be handled by reclicking the link In the email it will give you 8-9 more surveys at times when it says no more surveys available. Just keep the email and keep using same link until it says no more surveys or whatever.

I signed up for them about 3 months ago, and have so far cashed out for 20 dollars in Amazon credit. Both have credited within 24 hours, and both have worked fine.

I have not run into any particular issues with their surveys, either. Still, I think I will toss this one after my next redemption, as it just doesn't feel worth my time. All their surveys go through samplicio.us, which waste a ton of your time asking a jillion stupid qualifying questions, and of the surveys I've gotten into the meat of, I don't think a single one of them was remotely interesting, and they don't pay that well, either (their longer surveys pay 100 points, which *sounds* decent, but is actually about 80 cents.) So I don't think I'll bother for much longer, I've got enough better sites to use instead at this point, I don't need to keep the mediocre ones around. edit: I did indeed trash this one at this point - pay kept decreasing, and they stopped paying a few cents per screenout like they once did, too.

They never respond to support requests, either. Like, *literally* never. I originally signed up for this one because I had heard it was decent for finding paid product review opportunities, and indeed in the beginning I did get a couple surveys asking if I would be interested (I said yes, obviously). Then I noticed my profile on their site didn't include my apt #, which would be required for anyone to send me a package. You can't edit that, you have to contact them and request that they do it. I contacted them once a couple months ago, then a couple more times over the following couple weeks. It still doesn't have a unit #, but that's fine, as I also haven't seen any surveys asking if I'd be interested in product tests in about that long, either.

Sadly, despite the high profile name, Harris is a waste of time. It will drag you through many surveys and many repetitive questions and then dump you out with ZERO points. It's useless.

I belong to Harrispoll.com. A woman named Jane H. stole my points and ordered a $50 Walmart gift card. I notified Harris poll right away and still after 10 emails, they have done nothing! I checked and she has spent the entire $50. Harris poll never even verified her name, phone, or address against my account. They just let her spend it! And now I wonder if it was done by an employee. It was ordered 4 hours after I received an email about the order. If you have points there, cash in and get out! They don't care and don't help! No phone, only email to contact!

My friend had their account and was cancelled saying that she rushed thru surveys. I joined, was very careful, and guess what, i just got cancelled for 'rushing thru' surveys. interesting that it was just as I was about to redeem my points.
