Electronic Rewards

Harris Poll offers their members the opportunity to earn points, known as HIpoints in exchange for their participation. Once you earn 1250 points (worth $10), you can request an e-gift voucher from places like Amazon, iTunes, Starbucks, Walmart, ESPN, and more. You may also be entered into sweepstakes after each completed survey for even more chances of winning big.

Get Disqualified, But Still Have a Chance to Win!

If you attempt to complete a survey, but are disqualified in the process, you will receive an entry into the Harris Panel Sweepstakes. You will be also be offered the opportunity to try qualifying for other available surveys.

Survey Lengths

Online surveys typically take anywhere between 5-25 minutes to complete. Short surveys will take around 5 minutes, and very long ones are around 25 minutes. These reasonable survey lengths will keep your attention and prevent you from getting bored too quickly! There are special surveys on offer as well including special focus groups, telephone based surveys, and even surveys about independently downloaded software. Common survey topics, however, range from fashion to movies to shopping habits.

Participate Often

Expect to receive between 3-5 online surveys a month.

Earn Points

Even if you are disqualified from completing a survey, expect to receive around 15 HIpoints! The amount of points you get per survey varies depending on the length or complexity of the survey.

Harris Poll now has an app, available on iOS and Android. The mobile apps will require you to login with your Harris credentials. Using the app allows you to see survey opportunities, take surveys, participate in special research programs and access your rewards. Turn on your notification settings for the app to receive new survey opportunities in real time.

Cashing Out

After you have reached 1250 points, you are able to redeem your HIpoints for e-cards and gift vouchers. Most people who participate, reach this threshold after completing around 10 surveys. Rewards include e-cards or gift vouchers from Amazon, iTunes, Starbucks and more.

Rewards Processing Times

Redeem your rewards and receive them within 15 business days. They will be sent to your e-mail account. Most rewards will be credited to your account within 10 minutes of your participation, but occasionally it may take as long as 24 hours for the credit to appear in your account. If you are redeeming your HIpoints, you will receive your e-code within 24-48 hours of cashing in your HIpoints. If you have cashed in for physical merchandise, you will receive your merchandise via USPS within 7-14 business days. All costs of rewards (including shipping and handling) are covered by Harris Poll, unless you are redeeming products using an e-certificate.

2/17/2015 I have down graded my rating for two reasons. They used to award points for screening out, that is very rare now. Whether it be Firefox or Safari, I get to technical errors that abort the survey about half the time I attempt to take one. 12/2013 I read a bunch of the comments that did not like them compared to what they were. I must now agree as the number of survey offers has dropped and rewards declined, so I reduced my rating :( 4/2012 I have been with them over ten years. The old reward system I believe was called You Give. It had very little that I wanted. Now you can get Amazon. com cards. A $20.00 card is 2400 points. Completed surveys pay 50 to 250 points, average 100 about $.85 each. Every unqualified survey is worth 15 points. Now days everybody partners with everyone else. If I keep my email notifications and click on the take survey button I can get up to three surveys a day, many with partners reviewed on Survey Police. I will get more bottom line money through gift cards with Harris than any other partnering site except for maybe my other favorite, Opinion Outpost. They say it can take three weeks to get your reward (it used to be much quicker). They mean it and you often have to send in a query after three weeks, but then they are very prompt about getting your reward to you, within 24 hours.

I've been a member of this panel for at least three years, and it gets worse and worse. At first there were no problems. Now, when I login to my member page, none of the links on the page work, so I can't access any information about my account or redeem any points. When I try to use their support form, which I can access, there is no "Submit" button, so I have absolutely no way of reaching them. Has anyone else had this same problem? If so, please let me know if you resolved it, and if so, how? Thanks.

I have made money here for a couple of years , have enough on there now for $25 card but now I am getting as some others you cant log in . I was able to send to the help desk gave me some BS about you were unregistered , Sign up again , that doesn't work either. poor customer service . Terrible site don't waste your time .

Never had an issue with them. I don't receive as many surveys from them as I would like, but points accumulate fairly quickly. Their customer service has always be good for me - yesterday I spent a long time filling out a survey (like half an hour) and reached the end where they ask how the survey was...only to be told I didn't qualify. I wrote them and explained I had finished the entire survey etc, and today the points were in my account. So...so far, so good.

I can’t even log in know. When I try I get this message:
Login Failed, remember that Passwords are case sensitive. So I click on Password Reminder I get this message: Username Does Not Exist. I was to received a Applebee’s gift card, and two walmart gift cards. I guess I am not going to receive them know. How can they get away with this. Can’t there be something that can be done so they don’t get away with this.
