The iPoll website permanently shut down on August 8, 2024..

iPoll, originally known as Survey Head, was founded in 2008 and since 2016, has been owned and operated by Dynata.

Get Paid for Fun Adventures!

Turn the things you do everyday into an adventure! iPoll is all about convenience and fun, and wants to know your thoughts on the things you do everyday, with interactive mini missions that provide rewards. You'll get a $5 bonus just for signing up, and surveys range from $0.50 to $3. If you don’t mind leaving your home, you may also complete “missions” using the phone app at specific retail locations. New Item Scavenger Hunts potentially allow you to earn from $0.50 to $100 a day.

Survey Types

iPoll offers its members the opportunity to take surveys via their website and also via their mobile apps. Their mobile apps are available on both the App Store (for iPhones) and on Google Play (for Android phones). Users who download the mobile app can expect to be contacted more frequently to participate in surveys.

Complete Surveys to Earn Points

Complete survey to earn points and get rewarded. Surveys themselves typically take between 10-15 minutes and iPoll tries to keep surveys as short as possible so they aren’t monopolizing your time.

Added App Features

Another benefit of downloading the app is getting specific assignments based on your geographic location, accepting them and earning cash right on the spot! You may be challenged to take a picture of a product, or asked to visit a specific store. The app also includes video, photo and audio capabilities for fun, interactive reporting.

Rewards

iPoll offers various rewards including cash paid via PayPal (to verified PayPal accounts only), Amazon.com e-vouchers, and Apple gift codes. Once redeemed, rewards usually take about 4 weeks to be delivered. If you are redeeming via PayPal, remember to use the same email to sign up for iPoll that you use for your PayPal account. iPoll tries to get your rewards to you quickly, but on occasion it may take up to 4 weeks to redeem your rewards.

A $25 account balance is required to redeem an Amazon.com e-voucher, or an Apple gift code. PayPal cash payments can be requested when you've completed $50 worth of surveys or assignments.

Quarterly Sweepstakes!

iPoll rewards its members with quarterly sweepstakes draws of up to $10,000 USD. To be entered into the sweepstakes, you simply need to participate in a panel or survey, attend a webinar or redeem points.

Membership Terminated

January 14, 2017 by Jennifer from United States

I have been doing surveys over 15 years & this is the first time I have ever had a membership terminated. Nice how they terminate when I almost have enough to cash out. I would stay away from this one!

Account terminated

January 10, 2017 by Vicki from Canada

Like others, my account has been terminated for no reason after having been a member for many years. I had been experiencing issues and they told me to delete my cache which didn't solve the problem. I provided them with specific info related to the problem, my OS, browser, etc but didn't receive any further assistance. And now my account is terminated.

Member since the start, member no longer

December 23, 2016 by Pete from United States

As of January 2017, the cash out threshold will be raised to $50 and a new rule will go into effect stipulating that earned credits will expire after one year. This change is the final straw for me. I don't take surveys to get rich, but I'd prefer to feel respected as a survey-taker.

I've been a member of iPoll since they first started. Initially, you would log in and be presented with a list of surveys available to you, the estimated completion time, and the reward amount in dollars. The rewards weren't great, but they were acceptable if you were taking surveys mostly for fun and weren't trying to make money. I eventually stopped taking lower value surveys because they seemed to go on longer than advertised, sometimes the rewards wouldn't post for months or at all, and sometimes I would spend 20 minutes on a survey before being disqualified without compensation. Customer service was rarely able to address my problems and would simply restate policy.

Now, there is only a "take a survey" button which leads to a series of qualifying questions, which then may or may not lead to a survey. Rewards are poor, and often less than $1 per survey and I'd estimate a rate of about $3/hour when you figure in the time spent taking lengthy qualifiers that lead nowhere. If you value your time, I'd suggest looking for a better deal elsewhere.

Horrible site!!

December 18, 2016 by Brenda from United States

I've been member of ipoll for a long time, and I keep getting a message that says your membership has been terminated as a result of the violation of Ipoll Terms and Conditions. When I tried calling, they can't give me any explanation as to what I did. I was gone out of the country for 2 weeks and wasn't even on my computer. When I came back, I received this message. I can't even get the money out that's in my account, and I invested my time doing surveys for this company. I would not recommend this site to anyone who's trying to earn a little bit of cash.
