Don't pay,won't say

After being with newvista [formerly 'ITS YOUR VIEW] for several years, I noticed I had not been paid for any completed surveys for over 2 months.When I complained to them ,they said that they were having glitches and for me to let me know what completed surveys they had not paid me for and that they could not manually adjust.I replied that this was completely unacceptable as I just trash completed surveys and it is there responsibility to pay for my services.I said that if I did not get satisfaction I would then place negative response on social media.They then sent me email quoting losing membership by 'threatening behaviour'.I have since asked for payment of £25 PLUS already showing on my account or a guarantee of monies being paid that they owe and on any future surveys I do,this has not been replied too except being sent to right department initial response.So the warning of joining this company is for all of you to see .

You don't EVEN get a point when you do not qualify

After several years had enough of them. They were possibly in 'trouble' (you saw this when their social media pages were not updated) and then, the company changed (without telling members). ------- I was able to cash once a year but it became 18 months! They now seem having done a comeback but too late, I cannot trust them any further with such a high threshold. ------- You get plenty of surveys up to half way to redemption, then surveys slow or almost stop (what a surprise). ------- They used to boast on their fb page how much money they were paying members every month BUT... I challenged them a few times, but they never commented (£50 x XXXmembers I did calculate a few hundreds thousands...) -------
With their partners (ToLuna, then SSI) you waste a huge amount of time because according to Newvista, partners do not access your profile on their site, so surveys are 'random', and these partners are anyway too often a waste of time themselves (quota reached whilst you are still doing that survey; collecting info first, then telling you that you didn't qualify) AND you don't get a point from Newvista for trying!). ------- You receive surveys already closed, but when you are able to complete their own surveys it is not too bad, at times long but some are well rewarded. Errors yes sometimes. Hence a full star. Cheque payment is prompt.

Dodgy

I completed 25 surveys for this panel who only update partner surveys at end of the month and was paid for none of them. I have written to Market Research Society to hopefully get improvements in processes for panels across the sector. However to date have not received a reply which is indicative of problems in sector. I will stop market research as a result.

Hard Work

Takes a very long time to reach the threshold of £50 due to being rejected from the majority of surveys (more so as you approach your threshold). All their surveys ask the same lengthy set of demographic questions at the end, which is tedious. Make one minor error in these questions and you are thrown out of the survey.
When I finally reached £50 on Dec 9th I had to wait until the first 2 weeks of January to expect my cheque. When it didn't arrive, I asked where it was. They told me the name on my profile was not my name!! My name is Michael, but not uncommonly, the name I choose to use is Mick. Everyone knows me by that name and my bank happily accept that name on cheques as well as Michael and M Xxxxx.
They told me their financial dept will not accept "nicknames". I told them that I will decide what my name is. It is not up to them to decide otherwise.
I eventually received my hard earned money towards the end of February.
I wouldn't recommend this company unless your happy with their very drawn out, inflexible and frankly stupid policies and payment avoidance strategies.

Never received my cheque

Well, what can I say. Been with them for 2 years. Its takes a lot of time to reach the 50 pounds threshold. I reach another threshold 2 months ago. They were supposed to send my cheque in December 2017. they never did. I contacted them to let them know. Guess what they said: they had an issue with their printer. Your cheque will be sent shortly. A month later no cheque in the post. So what could you say about such company? Dodgy is a light word. I have been doing surveys for the past 3 years and not a single company has failed to reward my due, except Newvista. It says a lot about them. I know karma would not fail.
