Survey Taking Experience

Collect Your Points

Most OneOpinion surveys pay the points equivalent of $1 to $5 ($1 = 1,000 points), so you’ll hit the 25,000 point threshold needed to start redeeming your rewards quickly if you are an active member of the panel.

When new online surveys become available, you'll be e-mailed a survey invitation which will state the topic of the survey, the number of points offered for completing it, as well as the approximate time it'll take to complete. Even if you end up getting screened out of a survey, One Opinion will still reward you with points! This will help you reach your rewards goals faster.

Earn Points for Disqualifications

If you get screened out or are disqualified from an online survey, OneOpinion will still compensate you. Earn up to 250 points per day (50 points x 5 disqualifications) for screen outs.

Get Your Points Immediately!

After you complete an online survey, your reward points will instantly be loaded into your account. These points can be traded in towards great rewards from the OneOpinion Rewards Program.

Take Part in LOTS of Surveys

If you qualify, and your profile matches the studies criteria, there may be a new survey for you to take every day. Partner surveys are also available, which will help match you to additional studies.

Not Bad/Could Be Better

June 23, 2019 by April from United States

This is a pretty good survey panel. They still offer $1/$2 worth of points for most surveys. I only cashed out once since I joined about a month or 2 ago, they seem to have a short supply of surveys/quickly run out but the payout is pretty decent. And they just started offering "disqualified points" which are nice because of how often you regularly disqualify for stuff on any panel.

**UPDATE** They were a fairly good site but being I quit using them for a while they deactivated my account. I didn't have much of a balance on there but I kinda don't like it when a site deactivates you after a few months. I don't feel like contacting them to see if they'll reactivate me. The surveys usually only gave 50 cents or $1 each and you don't get to pick which ones to try for, you only take whichever one they give you next. So yeah, I've cashed out a few times with them but they could be better.

Dont payout

June 12, 2019 by Mary from United Kingdom

Complained numerous times - haven't received my £25 Amazon voucher and keep getting told matter is resolved and you get the run around. Still not paid, and dont expect to either. Still send out surveys!! Avoid this one at all costs - customer service a joke!!

Nice to be in Limbo. How Can You Tell When You are Still an Active Member?

June 8, 2019 by Valerie from United States

I have been a member for about 3 years or so, and can't seem to say how pleased I am with them. They have plenty of surveys available and pay very well. The other positive thing I can say is that you don't have to wait long in order to be paid through Paypal. I personally haven't had any issues with them. It was perhaps a few weeks ago that there was a glitch with the system and it lead to a broken link. It may have been that they were updating their system, but this happens with a lot of websites. Either way, there are lots of panels out there that seem to lag as far as point accumulation goes, but not this one.

*Update. If you asked me two weeks ago which was the best survey panel I would have still claimed, hands down, Oneopinion, as of 8 days ago, I am not sure whether I am still on board or not. I wonder if this has happened to anyone else. What happened was Emily. Oneopinion had installed Emily, the smart representative, and she was great for simple issues. I had experienced situations where I began a survey and I would be informed, "Our records show you have completed this survey," or, "This survey isn't available," or, "This survey has already been attempted." I would ask Emily what had happened and she would offer the points that were originally offered for such survey. This was fine, however it began to be too common, and I would sometimes ask her, "the error isn't that I didn't receive points or have missing points it is that I received a broken link or it claims that I've attempted the survey, when I didn't." Several times I would also begin a survey and it would credit me the 50 points for attempting a survey, even though I hadn't even answered the first question. This has gone on for about 5-6 months. So, about 8 days ago, after a 1000 point survey that I didn't qualify for did not return me to panel, I mentioned it to Emily, who decided that I needed a case opened. It was no big deal and had mentioned that so whomever would receive ticket would realize that it wasn't the same technical, " already attempted survey" and they would see that I wasn't returned back to panel. What happened was a day later I received this message, "In reviewing your account, we see that there have been several instances where you have requested points for surveys you have not actually completed." The thing is that I never requested points to Emily, just simply mentioned that something went wrong with the last survey or asked what had happened. I emailed them explain that I never requested points and if I could please be reinstated, however, I was told that the system has "several variables" and they aren't able to bypass the system. Funny to note that they did allow me to cash in what was left on my account, but still I am able to log in with no problem. It is as if I'm in limbo. Has this happened to anyone? I figured if you are kicked out from Oneopinion that your account would be blocked or something like that. So, I wonder how can you tell that you are in temporary limbo or banned? I am warning others here, however, not to trust Emily as the best way to handle survey glitches because she apparently responds with missed survey points, even when that isn't the case. I had received a product that I was supposed to review and I guess I'm stuck with it and won't be able to complete it because Oneopinion has some embedded technical system issues they need to correct.

OneOpinion responded to this review on June 11, 2019

Hi Valerie,

Thank you for writing this thorough review, and apologies for any negative experiences you have had with our panel.

With just your first name to work with, I am not 100% familiar with your specific situation. However, I will attempt to address this issue the best I can.

Our Emily assistant was designed to provide quick responses and solutions for many of our day-to-day inquiries, such as point requests, password resets, reward information, email issues, etc. As point requests are our primary ticket type, Emily has been given the ability to credit points to member accounts. This process has been developed with machine learning in such a way that Emily can eventually learn to tell whether or not point requests are warranted. If an excessive amount of survey point requests are sent, Emily may flag the account and send a notification to our human team for manual review. This does not in any way imply that we do not want members to use our available help systems. We simply want to be sure they are being used responsibly, and always working correctly.

We want all members to be able to take and complete surveys without encountering technical difficulties whenever possible. When we see an account requesting points continuously every month, this is typically something we look into on our end, to prevent system abuse, look for outstanding issues, etc.

If a member is truly experiencing survey issues in excess of 20 times per month, there are clearly computer/device/system issues at play that are not allowing them to enjoy the site effectively. Whether this is on our end or that of the users is not always easy to determine, unfortunately.

We try our best to hear out every member's concerns on an individual basis, and absolutely want to look into this further if you believe your account was unjustly suspended. If you'd like to discuss further, please feel free to reach out via email at [email protected], and mention ATTN: Alex P somewhere in your subject.

Best,
-Alex P

Really easy to get to 25 and cash out is 2-3 days but it's great.
