Opinion Outpost gives everyday consumers the opportunities to participate in online surveys and product tests in exchange for cash rewards and gift cards.

Signing up is free and to do so, simply enter your name, date of birth, zip code and email address on the registration form on their website. After that, you’ll be prompted to confirm your email address before you’re able to begin answering surveys.

Take Surveys and More

Once you've fully registered, you’ll see a “Surveys” link on your main account dashboard. This will take you to your list of available surveys. You can choose to have surveys emailed to you if you prefer.

You also have the option to add additional information (via profile surveys) to help Opinion Outpost match you with more relevant surveys to you.

You don't have to wait long to get rewarded - if you take a survey worth 50 points, you'll already have enough to redeem a $5 Amazon.com gift card. The following reward options are offered on the site in exchange for participating:

• PayPal payments - with only 100 points (worth $10/£5), you can request that a PayPal payment be made to your account. Bear in mind that only verified PayPal accounts will qualify for payment.
• Amazon e-vouchers - with just 50 points ($5) in your account, you can request an Amazon.com e-gift code.
• Apple Store gift cards - with 100 points ($10) sitting in your account, you can request an app store / iTunes gift card.
• Retail gift cards - with 100 points ($10) in your account, you can receive a gift card to Nike, Domino’s Pizza, The Home Depot, CVS, Chili’s 3-Choice and more.

Note that rewards will vary slightly by country. For example, Air Miles Reward Miles are available to Canadian members only (receive 50 Air Miles for 100 Opinion Outpost points).

Super-Fast Rewards Delivery

Opinion Outpost is very unique in that rewards are often delivered instantly after requesting them. It's uncommon to have to wait more than a few minutes/hours to receive a PayPal payment or e-gift card that you've requested, though technically they advertise a 3 day rewards processing period.

Take Surveys Often

Paid surveys will be sent to you on a regular basis. You can also visit the website, log in and find a list of available surveys, giving you plenty of chances to make cash. A typical Opinion Outpost survey takes 10-15 minutes to complete and the number of points you can expect to receive per survey ranges between 5 to 50 points.

Qualifying Questions

Before you begin your chosen survey, you may have to answer a series of multiple-choice questions. These may appear to be irrelevant to the topic of the survey itself, but are a way for researchers to ensure they're receiving responses from the people they're looking for answers from. Sometimes, you’ll be disqualified from taking the survey after answering these, however there will usually be other surveys available for you to take.

Modern, Interactive Surveys

Opinion Outpost offers fun, interactive online surveys that are attractive and simple to take. Opinion Outpost App

Opinion Outpost does not offer a mobile app. Although most of their surveys are mobile-friendly and can be completed on your phone, you will still need to access them via your e-mail, or by logging into the website from your phone.

Badges

Opinion Output offers ‘Badges’, which essentially serve as loyalty bonuses. You will start out with a Bronze membership and have the chance to upgrade to Silver, Gold, Platinum or Diamond based on how active you are on the website and how complete your profile is.

As your badge levels increase, additional achievement points are awarded, which can be found on your Survey History page. These will show up as 'community achievement'. Bear in mind that you can be downgraded to a lower tier badge if you don’t remain active on the website.

Quarterly Chances to Win $10,000

If you are in the USA and you get disqualified from a survey, participate in a survey, or exchange your valuable points for an entry, you will have a chance to win $10,000 in a quarterly cash draw. That means that $40,000 in total is awarded to 4 lucky members every year! If you are in Canada, there are also sweepstakes available in the form of 4 quarterly draws worth $1,250 each ($5,000 yearly).

Refer Your Friends to Earn More

Opinion Outpost's referral program will award you $1.00 every time you refer a friend using your custom link and they complete at least one survey. Earn up to $5.00 in total. Find the "refer a friend" tab when you log into your account to grab your custom referral link to share with friends or extended family members (available to US panelists only).

Is Opinion Outpost Legit?

Opinion Outpost is over a decade old and is a legitimate survey site that pays approximately $5 million dollars in rewards to its members every year. Wonderful survey. I get my payments through paypal. Have never had a problem getting paid. Good quality surveys. A Huge THUMBS UP.

Pros:
1. Receive lots of surveys.
2. Decent point amounts.
3. Can cash out at 100 points.
4. When working correctly, receive paypal cash immediately.
5. Get less surveys I don't qualify for the more profile questions I have answered.

Cons:
1. Have to answer same profile questions repeatedly.
2. Have spent 5 minutes plus on surveys before being disqualified.
3. Having more instances of points not showing up or errors when submitting surveys. Only get points when I email customer service & always get lame excuses back.
4. Now having issue in redeeming points for paypal cash.

Take note, if you join, do not continue taking any more surveys until a current issue you are working on is resolved. Do not waste your time giving them more survey results if you haven't gotten points for a previous survey or not able to redeem!

For those who's been around for a while, we all know that OO has changed quite a bit. It used to be the best survey company that everyone liked to rave about as it paid very well, but now the pay is more like 1/3 of what used to be, and the survey quality seems to be down as well (such as more frequent tech glitchs or redirecting errors, etc.). Another big negative point is, some surveys have grossly understated survey length or estimated time to complete. The plus points of OO are quick pay-out (instant pay pal is just amazing) and their responsive custom support team. And I have noticed major improvement in the quality of customer service in the last few months and that's something i'd really applaud. I also want to mention that Maysoon was one of the best customer support members that I have dealt with.

Opinion Outpost used to be one of the best. I've been very disappointed with them in the past six months.

The incentives have steadily decreased, I seem to qualify for less surveys, and I started getting weird messages about my account being temporarily put on hold. I was still able to do most surveys though, and I cashed out a few days ago and received payment almost instantly.

Today I just did a survey, and when I tried to login following the survey's completion I was again informed my account had been disabled. What? Why? I put a lot of effort and time into the surveys I take. If this is some sort of technical glitch, I'll move past it, but if not I'm going to be pretty upset.

Regardless, I can't recommend this panel anymore. It's getting increasingly difficult to justify staying with them. I think most others who have been with them for longer than a couple of years would probabl

I have been a member for over 3 years and I would say I am making more money since they became part of SSI. I average $30- $40 per month and there are also more surveys. However they paid you more per survey when they were independent of SSI.
