Opinion Outpost gives everyday consumers the opportunities to participate in online surveys and product tests in exchange for cash rewards and gift cards.

Signing up is free and to do so, simply enter your name, date of birth, zip code and email address on the registration form on their website. After that, you’ll be prompted to confirm your email address before you’re able to begin answering surveys.

Take Surveys and More

Once you've fully registered, you’ll see a “Surveys” link on your main account dashboard. This will take you to your list of available surveys. You can choose to have surveys emailed to you if you prefer.

You don't have to wait long to get rewarded - if you take a survey worth 50 points, you'll already have enough to redeem a $5 Amazon.com gift card. The following reward options are offered on the site in exchange for participating:

• PayPal payments - with only 100 points (worth $10/£5), you can request that a PayPal payment be made to your account. Bear in mind that only verified PayPal accounts will qualify for payment.
• Amazon e-vouchers - with just 50 points ($5) in your account, you can request an Amazon.com e-gift code.
• Apple Store gift cards - with 100 points ($10) sitting in your account, you can request an app store / iTunes gift card.

Super-Fast Rewards Delivery

Opinion Outpost is very unique in that rewards are often delivered instantly after requesting them. It's uncommon to have to wait more than a few minutes/hours to receive a PayPal payment or e-gift card that you've requested, though technically they advertise a 3 day rewards processing period.

Take Surveys Often

Paid surveys will be sent to you on a regular basis. You can also visit the website, log in and find a list of available surveys, giving you plenty of chances to make cash. A typical Opinion Outpost survey takes 10-15 minutes to complete and the number of points you can expect to receive per survey ranges between 5 to 50 points.

Qualifying Questions

Before you begin your chosen survey, you may have to answer a series of multiple-choice questions. These may appear to be irrelevant to the topic of the survey itself, but are a way for researchers to ensure they're receiving responses from the people they're looking for answers from. Opinion Outpost does not offer a mobile app. Although most of their surveys are mobile-friendly and can be completed on your phone, you will still need to access them via your e-mail, or by logging into the website from your phone.

Badges

Opinion Output offers ‘Badges’, which essentially serve as loyalty bonuses. You will start out with a Bronze membership and have the chance to upgrade to Silver, Gold, Platinum or Diamond based on how active you are on the website and how complete your profile is.

As your badge levels increase, additional achievement points are awarded, which can be found on your Survey History page. These will show up as 'community achievement'. Bear in mind that you can be downgraded to a lower tier badge if you don’t remain active on the website.

Quarterly Chances to Win $10,000

If you are in the USA and you get disqualified from a survey, participate in a survey, or exchange your valuable points for an entry, you will have a chance to win $10,000 in a quarterly cash draw. That means that $40,000 in total is awarded to 4 lucky members every year! If you are in Canada, there are also sweepstakes available in the form of 4 quarterly draws worth $1,250 each ($5,000 yearly).

Refer Your Friends to Earn More

Opinion Outpost's referral program will award you $1.00 every time you refer a friend using your custom link and they complete at least one survey. Earn up to $5.00 in total. At first they were great. I was able to complete surveys and cash out through paypal once i reached the goal. However, i was inactive for a few weeks because my aunt died. So i tried logging in and my account was frozen. To get it reactivated i had to answer a long list of personal questions that i don't feel comfortable giving over an email. Then, my account was activated again. That was great and all.. but once i received enough i did the usual and clicked paypal.. well it said my paypal account was not "secure" enough.. so i settle with a gift card. I wait.. and wait.. and wait.. never receive it. They don't answer my questions. I get enough points to cash out again, so i decided to use my husbands "Secure" paypal account when it prompted me to login. Froze my account again. Long list of personal questions, then i log in again and attempt to cash out via gift card. Account freezes again and then when i contact customer service they want my IP address, the dates i last logged in for the past month and all the IP addresses of the computers i have ever used. They acted like i was not who i said i was when i was emailing them with the email i was registered with..

I'm just trying to get my points cashed.. It looks like i'm out of all that time wasted because they refuse to reopen my account and keep playing games.

Frustrating.

I have been a long time member of the site and have always loved it. I got back from vacation recently and found out that the site had changed. Points were a lot lower and the surveys are the same length for starters. The big thing that made me angry was that my pay outs via paypal used to be instant. Now they take 24-25 hours. They also started adding really low paying surveys, which normally on a site I would not care... but you are only allowed to have 5 completed surveys a day. I just hate how they have gone from taking care of us (I feel like we are sort of employees in a way). They will probably blame it on the companies they send the surveys out for, but you can tell its just greed.

I have started several Opinion Outpost surveys but have run into tech issues every time. Most commonly, when I reach the end I get a message inferring I did not answer all questions. When I go back I usually found that I DID answer. If I HAD missed any, I then answered them. In every case the message remained that I did NOT finish. There was never a way to retake surveys and I never got credit for those, that is they got my opinions free. I contacted their website but it always came up with a page offering me more surveys !!

guess i joined the club. tried to cash out received message account suspended due to violation of agreement. also had ipoll account suspended and did nothing. last took survey 2 days before had low balance but both run by same firm. stay away. 3 times this year suspended after trying to cash in. got reinstated but not worth time to get 10 dollars

Pays as promised & promptly--doesn't get any better than that!

Still good. I C/O a few times per month & they pay promptly. Also good with Customer Service--they get back to you within a day or two.
