As a panel member of Opinium Panel, you will have the opportunity to participate in both online surveys and focus group research activities. The panel focuses on providing interesting topics including: social issues, development testing and website usability.

Short, Fun Surveys!

The Opinium Panel feels it is important to keep their surveys short and sweet. Most range from 10 - 12 questions and take about 5 minutes to complete. You may be invited to participate in longer surveys as well, but the compensation will increase in proportion to your time spent. Act fast! Most surveys only remain open for 48-72 hours. You can expect to receive 4 or more surveys a month.

Rewards Offerings

You will receive cash for each survey that you complete with Opinium Panel. The average payment per survey is 50p, and will show up in your account within 24 hours of taking the survey. You may cash out your rewards once your account reaches £25.

Reward Options

You have 4 options for payout:

• Cheque
• Bank transfer
• Amazon voucher
• Charitable donation to a non-profit of your choice.

Once you have reached your minimum payout £25, you will be sent a short survey that will ask you which pay out method you prefer. A typical payment may range from 15-20 days, depending on your choice of payment.

Survey Details

Most panel members should receive at least 3 survey invitations each month. It should be noted that panelists must complete a minimum of 3 surveys per year to be considered an active member of Opinium Panel.

Paid out fine for the first few months but now no payment for 2 months and Facebook messages on their page from several members saying the same. AVOID. More messages on their Facebook page of non payment.

Update: Takes a while to get to the withdrawal limit as very few survey opportunities but they have been paying out on time now.

April 2020 Update: Regular surveys now and payment within 2 weeks.

2021 Update: Much improved. Regular surveys and payment within the time frame. Would recommend.

This is a confusing panel as it has some really interesting surveys and important surveys to complete. However they do have technical issues and never respond to concerns or issues raised.
As result reluctantly I will be leaving panel after next redemption and cannot recommend it to family or friends.

Edit:
I ended up staying with panel and am pleased that I did the initial issues seemed to have been resolved and now you can combine interesting/rewarding surveys and good payout. Still not sure whether they respond to issues but not having them much now so one of best panels.

Opinium are a pretty decent survey company but their customer service is simply awful. As in they will NOT respond to any customer queries whatsoever. Disappointing.
No improvement they refuse point blank to engage with panellists.
Avoid.

The Good - Lots of regular surveys
The Bad - Their customer service never responds
The Very Bad - They don't pay out when you reach the £25 threshold! You will have to chase them but you'll never get a reply, so it is purely up to them when they will pay!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. JUST NOT WORTH THE TIME AND EFFORT!

This is one of the more professional sites with regular surveys, decent remuneration for each survey and cash rather than gifts at the end of your saving for a £25 voucher which if you do each survey does not take years like some of the poor survey sites!
