Do NOT receive rewards ex: gift cards

April 5, 2013 by marg from Canada

Applied with the proper points for a $25.00 gift card Sept 2012. Redemption shows on my account with left over points. With Numerous emails and phone calls to Safecount, no replies, whatsoever, each time they take your info, but no-one follows up with a contact. It is a farse.

Downhill slide

This company used to be a pretty safe and reliable survey company whose only drawback was that they're only 'reward' was a sweepstakes entry. A year or so ago they were bought up by Market Cube which also runs the larger Univox survey site. Safecount now has a litany of problems that it shares with Univox. You frequently will not be paid anything, even when you successfully complete a survey. Screen outs after dozens of pages of questions are also common. If you complain to customer service about missing points, a reply is very rare and a resolution to your problem is hopeless. Its been months since Ive been able to actually successfully complete a survey and get points towards an Amazon gift card. Now I just intentionally give ridiculous answers on the screening questions to get the tiny award when you screen out. But I do this mostly out of spite and if I ever do get enough points to cash out again, I will delete my account with these charlatans afterwards.

I'll be 100 by the time I get a gift card

You need 2500 points to qualify for a $25 Amazon gift card, I worry about that qualify, does that mean you might not get it?
I may find out in 68 years. Currently I have 1985 points, most of these from the 5 points they give you just for trying the survey.
Most of the surveys are for IT people, you know, computer folks. If you don't work in IT, you will almost never qualify.
