SavvyShares is a surveys website that launched in 2020 that originally offered shares in its business in exchange for participating in surveys. It has since changed to offering cash for surveys, just like it's sister website, SurveySavvy, a paid survey website which rewards user participation with a payment check.

How to sign up to SavvyShares

Navigate to the home page of SavvyShares and click ‘Join’ in the top right of the screen. Here, you’ll be asked for your full name, email address, date of birth and postal address. Your rewards will be sent to this address. Only those living in the United States are eligible to sign up.

Once you’ve agreed to the Terms and Conditions of the website, you’ll be re-directed to the main dashboard of the website, which lists the survey opportunities available to you and the cash incentive earned for participating.

Existing Members Earned Dividends for Participating

Rather than receiving one-off cash payments, SavvyShares originally awarded participants with annual dividends for every year that the survey panel made a profit. SavvyShares' original concept was to give ownership of the panel back to survey takers, where they could share in the profits of the company itself, versus receiving standard payments just for the surveys they complete.

This is such a unique concept that it is was the only surveys site to be registered via the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Unfortunately, in October of 2023, SavvyShares announced that due to a challenging business environment, new shares would no longer be awarded and that instead, just like SurveySavvy, cash rewards for participation in surveys would instead be issued.

Get paid by check

Savvyshares awards cash for participating in surveys and for sharing digital data via the SavvyShares app. Payments are issued via check with a minimum balance of just $1.00 in your account.

You’ll be asked to provide various demographic information about yourself during the sign-up process. This will be used to determine surveys you’re eligible for, as most SavvyShares clients are looking for information from specific demographics.

If you are deemed to be eligible for a survey, you’ll be alerted via email. The main dashboard of the website will also list the survey opportunities available to you if you’re logged in. You’ll need to be quick though, because the survey will close when enough eligible members have completed it.

If you’ve opted into the SavvyConnect project, you may receive surveys about your web-browsing habits, as well as the standard surveys looking for opinions on specific products and brands.

Is SavvyShares Legit?

SavvyShares is a website operated by Luth Research - a reputable market research company that has been around for more than 20 years. This should quell any fears you may have about a potential SavvyShares scam.

SavvyShares takes the same steps to protect your personal data as any other legitimate paid survey website, so there should be little to worry about here either.

This site, provides shares, which they fail to tell you any proximity of what the shares are worth, and recently, as six months of the year have passed, I am amassing shares, but have not reaped any benefit.

I have asked, when one can expect to see payment, and was told, every 4-6 months by one person, and the other person i spoke with DUANE, has taken four days to get back to me.

I was a long time member of SURVEY SAVVY and they always paid, but this mess, I am not so sure about.

I cannot imagine a scenario, where it takes four days to tell someone how the payment structure works, especially when people have been participating for six months and not seen dime one.


UPDATE

I did want to wait and see, but the value of the dividends on this site, last six months was a nickel a share, which means a survey which i was just invited to for 4 shares, is about 20 cents.

That is a waste of time, and is shameful, and really is getting pathetic.

So there have been two dividends paid, the first one a dime, the second a nickel.

I do not think they value peoples time adequately, 20 cents for 15 minutes, no thanks, and it may not even be 20 cents, as if the dividend again decreases, as i see no reason as to why the dividend would INCREASE.

Abandon this idea, it is not working as being managed.

In 2023, I have not been paid a dividend, in 2023, I cannot a response from a support member, as if they know realize how foolish of an idea this concept was, or more likely , JUST DO NOT CARE about screwing people over,

Survey sites need HONESTY to exist, this site provides NONE

I've never seen a survey site like this. They actually have 2 different sites - one is SurveySavvy and one is SavvyShares. The Shares one actually gives you what is similar to shares of stock and you get your money when they pay dividends. Problem is, they only pay off once or twice A YEAR. I've only been on the Shares version for a couple of months and I've been given dividends of $10. They do surveys but they also have an app that you can put on your PC, cell and tablet to get shares. I'm hoping the next dividends paid will be a lot better.

UPDATE: The dividends were doing OK until the mid-2023 round and they've, all of a sudden, decided to just disappear. The site/app is still there and they're still sending out survey invites and still giving monthly shares for data but the payout hasn't happened and they refuse to respond to help tickets. I've written several times to find out what's going on and have gotten zero responses. They're going from 3 stars to 1.

Survey Shares always has surveys. They do pay, and I have been with Survey Savvy for years. People this site is legit!!!!!
