With Smart Panel App, you can help your favorite web sites, apps, tech companies, and mobile carriers give you better services and more features. Download the Smart App and anonymously share your data. All data collected is encrypted, secured, and protected – Smart App is owned and operated by Verto Analytics Research firm.

With Smart App, you’ll need to apply to become a member. To apply you’ll answer a short survey about your personal details and your tech habits, including how often you use your smartphone.

If accepted, you’ll download the Smart App on your smartphone and keep it there. The app will usually give you surveys to answer. You’ll earn points by answering these questions about your technology habits.

The app will track your smartphone usage and share your habits from using this smartphone device. It reportedly uses around 3MB of data per month and causes an extra 1-5% reduction of battery life. You may have to download a VPN onto your device too.

After you have kept the app on your phone for 30 days, you can convert the points earned into rewards for the first time.

I initially listed all devices I had access to/used on a regular basis in my application process, including my workplace computer. My phone and workplace computer were the two devices selected for me to download the software, but I couldn't download to my office computer because I don't have administrative rights. I immediately contacted SmartPanel to let them know, and it took several days for anyone to get back to me, while in the meantime I was getting pestered daily about "you still need to download the software." I finally got things resolved to have my office computer taken off my "devices list," and downloaded the app to my iPhone. OH MY GOSH, DID IT DRAIN THE BATTERY! I never have to bring a charger to work because I only occasionally check my cell phone at work, but by mid-day, my battery was down to 50% due to this app! I had to delete it, because it's nothing worth killing my phone/stressing about charging it throughout the day just to run one silly little app.

I do NOT recommend this program. Sure, it seems like an easy and simple way to earn some extra cash, but it's seriously not worth it.

At first I was happy to be a part of the Smart Panel Program but twice now they have disqualified me claiming that I am not syncing the program on either device that I have their application installed on. Right now I am considering just giving up on it and saying "to heck with it" and leaving the program altogether.

I hope other people have better luck with this wishy washy company.

I only installed it on my computer. I have gotten a notification that I was not active (even though I still had it on my computer). I just deleted the app and re-downloaded it. That solved the problem. It also makes my computer super slow sometimes, so I close it until I restart it. Other than that, it's an easy way to make money. Yes, they spy on you. If you are not doing anything illegal, it should not matter.

I joined Smart Panel on the 12th of January. Had no trouble downloading to my computer but did have trouble downloading to my phone. Eight days later it was fixed. I was able to collect my first $25.00 payment with no problem. (I'm guessing the $10 is per device.) Yes, this is a spy program, but I don't expect privacy on the Net anyway. My only beef is it is the apparent cause of my having occasional error messages when I turn my computer on that "the proxy server is not responding". Since I've learned how to fix that manually, I decided freaking out about it wasn't worth giving up the income.

I am editing this and lowering my star count from 4 to 3 because I suspect (no proof yet) that the software is interfering with my ability to log into surveys at Pinecone Research. If this is the case, I will be quitting Smart Panel.

I am editing this a second time and lowering my star count to 2. Suddenly, less than two months after I started, the Smart Panel software on my computer quit sending to them and I got kicked off. I also noticed my ability to do Pinecone Research surveys came back. I make more money with those anyway.

The only reason I am giving Smart Panel 2 stars instead of 1 or 0 is they did pay me at the beginning, so I believe they are legitimate, but the technological flaws are just terrible!
