Smart App is a smartphone app that allows you to answer questions about your tech habits - and you will be paid well for your time.

With Smart Panel App, you can help your favorite web sites, apps, tech companies, and mobile carriers give you better services and more features. Download the Smart App and anonymously share your data. All data collected is encrypted, secured, and protected – Smart App is owned and operated by Verto Analytics Research firm.

How Smart App Works

With Smart App, you’ll need to apply to become a member. To apply you’ll answer a short survey about your personal details and your tech habits, including how often you use your smartphone.

If accepted, you’ll download the Smart App on your smartphone and keep it there. The app will usually give you surveys to answer. You’ll earn points by answering these questions about your technology habits.

The app will track your smartphone usage and share your habits from using this smartphone device. It reportedly uses around 3MB of data per month and causes an extra 1-5% reduction of battery life. You may have to download a VPN onto your device too.

After you have kept the app on your phone for 30 days, you can convert the points earned into rewards for the first time.

I have gotten paid

I've not had any issues getting paid. I got paid faster than I have with Slidejoy which I also have. I don't recall receiving any surveys though which is a little disappointing.

You won't get the money

This has been an awful experience. I installed Smart Panel for at least 2 years. I have never redeemed the rewards for I thought I would just keep accumulating the amount. To my surprise, the action Smart Panel is taking now denies the fact that the company took my personal information, and are not willing to fulfill the terms of service. Smart Panel automatically canceled my account, and are unwilling to have proper communication with its members. I guess when it comes to paying its members, Smart Panel can find all kinds of excuses to dodge it. Smart Panel sold my personal information to other companies for 2 years, and I don't get what you promised?

I have been your member for more than 2 years. I traveled outside of the country, and now you are telling me that because I'm not in the US at the moment, Smart Panel deactivated my account, and I'm supposed to be fine with this?

I'm now back in the States, and guess what? I can't log in to my account to cash out the rewards.

This company tells you that you cant cash out and conveniently "deactivated" the account so that you can never cash out the money anymore.

They were horrible but are improving

I get $5 a month to allow them to transfer certain info without my having to do anything. But the process to receive the rewards are silly-text message only initiates the process. Occasionally they have short surveys that result in $3 Amazon credits. I have done 5 and received the credit for 3, although one had to be re-requested by me as it was never received.One is pending. One I never received and after I sent them an inquiry they said it would be 2 weeks after the survey was completed. With no date as to when that would be. A month later I inquired. And again and again. Finally they said they would look into it and never replied. I sent them another email and they came back with "YOU DID NOT COMPLETE THE SURVEY". Yes I did, I was looking directly at the screen that told me I did. PASS THIS ONE BY!


That review was accurate when posted. It is now months later. The $3 Amazon surveys done since then were credited. There still should be improvements. 1) Auto generate an email when a survey is completed so weeks later we don't go back and forth as if a panelist did or did not do the survey. Since I don't get texts I have to request one to redeem cash, wait 5 minutes for text to expire and then choose the phone option. Why not just give us the phone option at the beginning?

The program was fairly new at the time of your review, and we've since implemented some more efficient processes around paying out survey incentives. We've also added a voice call verification feature for panelists who can't receive text messages - that way panelists can redeem more easily while making sure the process is still secure.

Good survey site

I joined Smart Panel and was a member for a few years. However, after one update, I started having problems with my laptop. It caused problems and my laptop was always freezing up and I had to reboot it constantly. Before the update I was happy with the site. Couldn't rectify the problem so eventually uninstalled the program.

No problems with Smart Panel

I was a bit surprised at all the negative comments. This is not my experience at all. I have been with this company for a few years. In the beginning, I did have an issue with the download being on my computer because it would just not be active from time to time. When the app is not active, they will notify you by e-mail. So I contacted Smart Panel and they got back to me right away via e-mail. I was told to uninstall and reinstall. I had to do this a few times and after that, I didn't have any problems. I don't really think about it being on my computer and I just let the money add up. I just recently viewed my account and had over a hundred dollars. I have the option to cash out with Paypal or Amazon. I used Paypal and when I went to cash out, I received a notice from Paypal within a few hours. So for me, they are a good company. They also offer surveys from time to time. They are not long and the pay is good.
