This is a little warning that has been floating around the survey world for years. Never do any OTX surveys through any company and do not join their parent company. Most of their surveys have glitches and errors and it's rare that you will fully qualify or get paid. I do not recommend them at all!

The problem with OTX is that they partner with everyone on God's green earth. I personally get asked 3 to 4 times a week whether I intend to buy a snowmobile in the near future.


It had gotten to the point that I started getting messages about having too many entries in the system. Now I don't do that many surveys, it's just that OTX is freaking everywhere.

Anytime I see the OTX graphic come up, I just close the tab. Not worth fooling with.

I received just a handful of surveys over several months and never qualified for any. You'll see enough OTX surveys through others sites like Global Test Market and Opinion Outpost, so you don't need to be on this panel. Waste of time.

The lowest part of my day taking surveys is answering repetitive questions over and over from any survey site that uses OTX. It's almost never worth a $1 to spend 30 minutes of my time with any survey from OTX. Occasionally I will get one that is on topic or not too long, but for the most part I will take any survey over one from OTX.

THIS COMPANY IS REALLY BAD! I don't believe they ever intend to pay anyone for a completed survey because when you finish, and answer the last question, they will tell you that "YOU DO NOT QUALIFY." Sometimes you can spend 30 minutes or more doing one of their surveys and you get ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! It's a complete waste of time. Report them to the BBB if this happens to you!
