For prospective members wondering how much they can make from Survey Junkie, the site advertises that members who complete four or more surveys daily and can earn as much as $130 monthly. Complete three or more surveys daily to earn as much as $100 per month. Creating an account is free and can be done via your Facebook or Google account.

Fill out the profilers to earn 10-50 points per profiler. Joining, clicking the confirmation link in your e-mail and filling out the general profiler is worth 100 points in total ($1.00). With a minimum cash out of $5.00, this is 20% of the way to an initial reward!

Survey Lengths

The average length of time it takes to complete a survey with Survey Junkie is 15 minutes. The estimated time for completions is stated on survey invitations (or in the app). New surveys are available daily.

Short Point Approval Times

Payment and Rewards

Earn Cash for Completing Surveys

With just $5 worth of survey earnings (500 points), you can 'cash out' your points balance for two cash options:

  • PayPal - receive an instant PayPal payment by selecting this rewards option. Note that you must redeem your full points balance when selecting PayPal for reward payments.
  • Bank transfer (USA only) - If you live in the USA, you can choose to receive a bank transfer payment. Bank transfers are handled by a third-party partner and take 3-4 business days to complete and are a safe way to receive your money.
Points Value: 500 points = $5.00. 1 Survey Junkie point therefore equals 1 cent.

Choose a Gift Card Instead

If you live in the USA, you can also choose to redeem your points for e-gift cards. e-gift cards are available in denominations of $5, $10, $15, $20, $25 and $50. You can choose from major retailers including Amazon, Target, Walmart, Sephora, Groupon, Apple and Starbucks. You can also select a pre-paid Visa card.

Earn Points for Disqualifications

If you attempt to complete a survey but get disqualified before you're able to finish it, Survey Junkie will still credit your account with 2-3 points. Payouts for surveys themselves vary and will depend on the length of the survey, how difficult it is to qualify, as well as other criteria.

To increase your chances of qualifying for a survey, look for surveys that have green diamonds. These indicate surveys that you are most likely to be able to successfully complete. Red diamonds on the other hand, may carry higher payouts, but will have the lowest chance of being able to complete.

Complete Profile Surveys to Earn Points and Get Better Matched

Survey Junkie has numerous profile surveys available to members in their account dashboards. Complete these profilers to earn 10-50 points for each completion, and benefit from being better matched to future surveys.

They can be a rip off site

December 21, 2024 by Michael from United States

Is it fair that I have pay taxes on the survey money (while the government is considering not taxing tips that are way above minimal wage, and why do I have to tip in most cases?), but there is no regulation on how much survey takers should get? Survey Junkie can be awful at times

Revised but worse

September 14, 2024 by Tammy from United States

In the past 5 days I've had 4 incidents with SJ. I keep getting jilted out of my points and time. I'm owed around 140 pts but they give the same excuse about third party rules and the dame rules to the the one working it, that its own fault i guess im going to leave them on my next cash out. SJ use to be a great survey site. Recently and more often they let the third parties run the surveys for the allowed time and even with demographic questions at the end to say we don't qualify. SJ stands by the third parties word on this even when proof is given by the one working the surveys. This is bad business SJ. You've got a couple of strong competitors out there.

Frustrating But Useable

July 9, 2024 by D J from United States

Survey Junkie is about the most frustrating site you can imagine. I constantly get thrown out of surveys with no reason. I report it to the support and always get the same lame answers. I stick with them because I do finish enough surveys to make it worth while even with the frustration involved.

The Worst

July 7, 2024 by Cassandra from United States

On June 3rd, 2024, I watched 3 episodes of a new TV series. I answered all the questions properly and did everything I was supposed to. I didn't like the series and was very honest about it. After 2 weeks, I emailed Survey Junkie, because with other websites (EveryoneSeez), I am usually paid around that time, they said that if I didn't receive the 700 points by July 3rd, then get back to them. Again, with other websites, I am usually paid within 2 weeks, and I have never had a problem. Today, July 5th, 2024, I received an email that my responses were not accepted (I have never had these problems with other sites), and I would not be receiving the 700 points. This is unacceptable and egregious business practices. Here is their response:
"Hi Cassandra,

Thank you for reaching out to the Survey Junkie Member Support Team! My name is Eliza, and I'm here to assist you.

I understand that you're concerned about the survey you completed. After reviewing the details, it appears that the third-party survey provider did not accept your responses. I know this can be frustrating, and I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

To help avoid this issue in the future, please take your time to read each question carefully and provide thorough and consistent answers. Your responses are valuable, and we want to ensure your surveys are accepted successfully.

As a gesture of appreciation for your loyalty, I've credited your account with 100 bonus points. We value your participation and encourage you to continue sharing your opinions with us.

If you have any further questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to help.

Best regards
Eliza from Survey Junkie Support"

Here is a recent response from EveryoneSeez:
"Hello Cassandra,

We want to thank you for participating in the recent 650 Point Online Movie Study (Jun 25). Your account has been updated with 650 points for fully completing the survey.

Thank you for being a valued member of the EveryoneSez Community.

Sincerely,

Aiden

Disappointed

July 6, 2024 by Marilyn from United States

I was with SJ for a few years. Then they asked me for a DL to verify who I was. I refused to give it to them. So I quit. I just don't got a good gut instinct about giving out personal info.
