Since SurveyLion is available to Canadians, the website is accessible in both French and English languages for ease of use.

Signing Up

If you are 16+ years of age, you are able to register to the panel. SurveyLion is looking for the opinions of people all over the world but is Canadian-focused. Registration is easy, but once the form has been completed, make sure to check your email to finalize the registration process.

Earn Rewards for Taking Surveys

There is always a reward in return for completing a survey. Rewards vary from cash, gift certificates and even free products. If you are completing a survey that offers cash, you will be rewarded in the $1 - $10 range, depending on the length and complexity. Most surveys take 5-15 minutes. Payment is sent in cheque form, and may take 4 - 6 weeks to arrive. Members may also be entered into quarterly prize draws in addition to earning cash rewards!

Survey Taking Details

Make sure to keep your profile information up to date so you get invited to the maximum amount of surveys for your unique demographic. Most surveys take about 5 - 15 minutes to finish, but this is always outlined in the invitation email beforehand.

Cashing Out

SurveyLion allows you to cash out at any time, but does allow you to accrue your cash rewards over time and then request your cash when you are ready. Payments requested prior to the first day of the month will be mailed out by the 15th in most cases.

Earn $5 for Referring Friends and Family

SurveyLion has a very generous friends and family referral program. Each time you successfully refer a new panel member to the SurveyLion community, you will automatically be credited with $5. It pays to grow this family!

SurveyLion is definitely not a scam. I have been with them since 2013 and have received my cheque everytime I asked for it. It is a great site although I do wish I would get more survey invitations.

Terrible company. They have yet to pay me for a payment I requested months ago. They just keep making excuses when I send emails to them. They have never returned one of my calls from the voicemails that I have left. I believe that they are just scammers and have no intentions of paying people. Simply making money off of innocent people who expect to get paid, and never do. Shame on them. Carol Udell runs this company, Canadian Viewpoint owns SurveyLion, which surprises me. Reported to Better Business Bureau, and I intend to continue reviewing them regularly and spreading the word until I do make an impact. Never give up when you believe in something.

Survey Lion is one of my favourite on line survey groups. The frequency and topics of surveys is good and you only get one type of incentive....money! Once you redeem your dollar amount, a cheque is sent to you!

So far, these guys have been amazing. Not too many surveys, but they make it up by giving out the most payment amongst any of the survey sites I've ever used; for instance, a 10 minute survey usually lands you $10.
The one big downside of the site is that their system for cashing out is incredibly slow. I don't mind getting cheques, and they allow you to cash out at any amount, but they only ship out the cheques once every two months.
If they did it at least once every month, they'd have a perfect score from me.

Not many surveys, but the ones i have received were all active, some decent amounts -not hiding behind a point system, they say $4 you get $4. The payout approach seems painful, using cheques...
