Opinion Outpost, OpinionWorld

SurveySpot permanently shut down on June 30, 2019. Opinion World and Opinion Outpost continue to operate.

SurveySpot was launched back in the year 2000, by the market research powerhouse, Survey Sampling International (now known as Dynata). Take online surveys for great rewards and chances to win sweepstakes.

Rewards

SurveySpot offers 4 different types of rewards for your participation. You can cash out with PayPal, or elect to request iTunes vouchers, Amazon vouchers, or Air Miles! Start cashing out once you have earned as little as $5 in points ($10 for PayPal requests).

New Member Cash Draw

New members automatically receive an entry into the $10,000 quarterly cash sweepstakes draw. Additional entries are awarded each time a survey is successfully completed. The more surveys you take, the better chance you have of winning!

Unfortunately, SurveySpot is no longer operational. Click the button to discover survey panels that are running and are actively looking for new members!

SurveySpot Instant Win Game

All online surveys offer an instant win play where you can play a slot machine or scratch card game with a chance to win additional prizes.

Survey Details

The time it takes to complete an online survey will vary, however most surveys offered by SurveySpot take between 10-15 minutes to complete. Most surveys are rewarded within the range of 50 to 100 points, depending on their length and complexity.

A waste of time

January 14, 2012 by Marilyn from United States

They were a great and honest survey company once. However now, most of their surveys have no point value and for the ones that do, I never seem to qualify. I've had only 600 points in my account for months and it takes 1000 to redeem. There are several other companies that are more worthy of my time.

Survey Spot

December 13, 2011 by Richard from United States

This used to be a great survey company. What happened? They don't want to pay you for any surveys anymore. It's gone from one of the best to almost the worst, 9 out of 10 surveys are unpaid.

Used to be great. Not any more

November 21, 2011 by Kathryn from United States

I've been a member of SurveySpot for nearly a decade and used to make some fairly decent money from then, but in the past year about 95% of the surveys I'm offered give sweepstakes entries only. For about 9 months I had $8 in my account with them and just couldn't get a survey that would credit that last couple of bucks to allow a cashout. Complained to their customer service that sweeps entries are utterly useless and a waste of my time, and got the form letter about SOME surveys pay, yadda yadda. Yet we KNOW they're getting paid for them all.

They set me up this fall with ONE online focus group that actually paid $75, but the invitation email never specified the incentive. Called the company needing the research and was told the incentive would be substantial.

Up until 2010, I would have highly recommended this company. Now they're a total waste of time.

Going downhill, but still classic and legit.

September 4, 2011 by Rachel from United States

Sure, they seem to be going downhill a bit, and having a lot of glitches as they transfer to new systems (which survey company hasn't?), but they still pay and I find that when I don't qualify it is usually pretty quickly.

The surveys are pretty standard and I'm having a harder time making money to pay out as quickly as I used to, but I don't feel scammed. It may take me longer to get my money, but I know I will. I've been with SurveySpot for years, it was my first site and I've cashed out over a few hundred dollars.

We're Sorry...I'M SORRY

July 31, 2011 by Phillip from United States

I'm an honest survey taker; I take my time and thoroughly read through before I give a response. I have been a member for approximately two months and it has been an entirely negative experience.

I have completed about 40-50 surveys in the two months that I have become a member. However, upon submitting the surveys, I was told on the very last question "We're sorry! You didn't qualify for the survey!"

How convenient. My responses were recorded in their entirety and I didn't qualify on the last question? "We're sorry?!"

I'm sorry! I'm sorry that I joined this panel. Please, if you're reading this, LOOK ELSEWHERE!

There are so many other Survey organizations that are legitimate and WILL pay out for your honest feedback.
