Valued Opinions is an online survey panel where members can earn cash and gift cards in exchange for participating in paid surveys and product tests.

Most surveys offer rewards of between $1 and $7 per completion. A minimum account balance of just $10 is needed in order to request a reward.

Joining is Easy

You can register a free Valued Opinions account within minutes - simply enter your name, address, email address and desired password on the registration page. If you prefer, you can link your Facebook account and register using the details stored there.

You’ll be prompted to fill more information in your profile after you’ve registered - and doing so will improve your chances of being eligible for a wide range of surveys.

Complete the Basic Profile, Receive $1.00

After registering with the site, you will be e-mailed an offer to complete your account profile (which takes 6 minutes) in exchange for $1.00. This will help kick-start the number of surveys you will be eligible to complete. After completing the basic profile, you can also complete additional profile information regarding your household, shopping habits, etc. which will help you qualify for even more surveys.

Reward Amounts

Valued Opinions surveys typically reward between $1 and $7, although at times you may be sent unpaid surveys to help with identifying your unique interests. The typical survey takes 15-20 minutes to complete, however the estimated time is always outlined beforehand.

For every survey completion, you will receive "cash" deposited into your account immediately after completing a survey. This can be converted into a wide range of rewards.

Survey Rewards

Your Valued Opinions earnings can be redeemed for the following rewards once a minimum of $10 is collected:

• Magazine subscriptions - 1-year magazine subscriptions to Cosmopolitan, ELLE Decor, Food Network, Magazine Midwest Living, and Women's Health for $15 in rewards.
• Restaurant gift cards - Dominos pizza, Chili's, and Restaurant.com available in $15 or $20 denominations.
• Airline miles - Get 600 Rapid Rewards Points for $15 in rewards, or 825 points for $20.
• Retail gift cards - Options include: Amazon.com, Apple, CVS Pharmacy, Fragrance.net, Macy's, Target, and the Home Depot, each in $20 denominations.
• Pack & Go gift card - this one $25 gift card can be redeemed at a Chevron, Texaco, Airbnb or Southwest.

These rewards apply to USA members, though are very similar in other countries.

Rewards Redemption

Electronic gift vouchers are typically delivered within 24 hours of request. It can take a few weeks for rewards such as magazine subscriptions to take effect and be mailed to your physical address.

More Than Just Surveys!

Valued Opinions offers various types of ways to participate on their panel. Although online surveys are what they primarily offer, you may also be given opportunities to participate in diary studies (which are surveys that span multiple days and involve logging information), and you may be selected to test products from home.

Member Badges

Valued Opinions offers a unique program which involves its more active members collecting "badges" for their level of participation. There are 5 levels that can be achieved with mini tasks that must be completed: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond.

As your badge levels increase, additional achievement points are awarded, which can be found in the Survey History section. These will display as a 'community achievement'. Bear in mind that you can be downgraded to a lower tier badge if you don’t remain active on the website.

Valued Opinions Monthly Red Cross Donations

Every month, Valued Opinions donates $10,000 of its profits to the American Red Cross. By participating in Valued Opinion surveys regularly, you are helping make the lives of those affected by disaster and emergency all over the world, a little bit easier.

Is Valued Opinions Legit or a Scam?

Valued Opinions is a legitimate online survey site that has over 3 million members worldwide and was established in 2004. The panel is available in over 15 languages across more than 20 different countries and abides by the strict rules laid out by the Market Research Association and the Market Research Society, making them a safe website and not a scam. I've been stuck on £8.95 for most of this year, so the likelihood of ever getting to £10 is zero as it stands, surveys used to come regularly, but the closer I got to payout the slower they got.

For some reason my account is working again, months later, so I've done surveys and cashed out, I might do the odd small survey, but won't ever bother with this site much anymore. Payout was actually fast as well.

I was a member of Valued Opinions for years, but my account got hacked twice. Their security system is bad...they reimbursed me the first time my account got hacked, but the second time....which was recently, I lost over $500.00, and they would not help me. I will never do business with them again, and I recommend anyone reading this to proceed with great caution. They are not a reputable company anymore. I closed my account, as I am not going to put in all those hours of hard work only to have my accounts compromised.

I have been a member for about 5 months after deciding to earn a little extra money for the coming holidays. During those months I had earned quite a few Amazon cards and a Visa Card (I don't recommend getting that waste of my time). Recently, though they had the 'smart' idea to enforce an authentication process by means of a cell phone number. This made it so I could no longer use the site due the facts, I couldn't afford a plan, and I live out in the county. So, I took a break and when I checked back a week ago they added landline as another means. Well, I tried to input my number and they said there was an error. I emailed them about my problem. Big mistake on my part 'cause not only were they unprofessional and took their sweet time to email me, but they banned me due to some 'discrepancies' on my account.

The way I see it their new idea is piece of garbage meaning they won't take the time to fix it. Resulting in anyone who tries to get an answer to be banned for questioning the system. I don't recommend Valued Opinions to anyone.

I've been a member of several GPT websites for the past 11 years. I don't work and I use this as my only source of income. I've been a member of Valued Opinions for approximately 2 years. I've cashed out through Amazon and Target gift cards several times of the course of my time as a member. It was one of my favorite GPT websites until recently. On March 8th, I took my last survey with this website and I no longer received any survey invites. I was still able to sign in to my account but each time I clicked on a survey it wouldn't redirect me anywhere. I gave me some message that said "unfortunately there aren't any surveys available for you right now." I passed it off and figured it was an issue on their end. Weeks passed and I still wasn't getting any survey invites, yet I was still able to sign in to my account. Finally a month later, I emailed support to see if this was an issue on their end or mine. I had a bad feeling already that they were probably going to tell me my account was suspended since I've never had a problem with taking surveys on their website in the past and always received weekly survey invites. After about a week with no response from support, they finally emailed me back. (Bad customer service!) They told me that my account was suspended permanently due to "several discrepancies". I call this BS! I would never do anything to intentionally lose my account. This is just a way that they don't have to pay their members for taking surveys. I guess this is the risk we all take when joining any GPT website. They can delete your account and you lose all your money with no explanation or proof of any fraud. Judging by the most recent reviews from other members on this websites, they to, have been told they lost their account due to "inconsistencies". Steer clear of this website!

I have been a constant survey taker for the past year due to injury. As a result I have been a member of many survey organisations and I have to say I have never had one as BAD as VALUED OPINION. They call your opinion 'Valued'! That has to be the biggest joke going besides them using it in there name. They constantly send me email alerts everyday. 99% of which upon opening immediately, are full! It is ridiculous. I have just had my first one in over 2 weeks which was for my 15 yr old son. He was on it for almost 15 minutes before being disqualified.He said he answered well over 100 questions on films he has watched and his viewing habits! This is something that seems to happen all the time on this site. In 6 months I have earned £5.50. HONESTLY DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
