Compensation Per Survey

Most online surveys will award between 300-500 points; the longer the survey, generally, the more points that are awarded. 1,400 points equates to $1.00. Reward redemptions are for gift cards but vary from country to country. In the USA, the minimum is 35,000, which equates to a $15 gift card. Reward Options

YouGov surveys offers a variety of redemption options for members, and these options vary from country to country. Cash payments awarded via PayPal are a way to earn money in some countries, and gift cards are available in most countries. Retailers include Amazon, Best Buy, Apple, Walmart, and more. YouGov branded merchandise is also available.

• PayPal payments - receive a $25 PayPal payment by redeeming 30,000 points. Receive a $50 payment by exchanging 55,000 points or a $100 payment for 100,000 points.
• Amazon gift cards - receive a $25 Amazon gift card in exchange for 30,000 points. A $50 gift card = 55,000 points, and a $100 Amazon card = 100,000 points.
• Additional rewards - Visa pre-paid cards, bank transfers, additional gift card options and merchandise available on a per-country basis.

Rewards Delivery

Cash rewards are issued within 1-3 working days. Gift card rewards take approximately 2-3 weeks to receive after redemption. Gift cards are physically mailed.

Survey Lengths

The length of each online survey varies, but most are between 5-15 minutes long. Surveys are rarely longer than 20 minutes, as this is considered a maximum. YouGov offers paid surveys quite frequently compared to other similar sites. You will receive an email every time a new survey is available. It can be different from country to country, but on average you can expect 5-7 surveys a week.

A big plus for YouGov is that they almost never send you a link to a survey that you then do not qualify for. If you are screened out, you are likely to be matched with another survey.

It has taken me 3 long years to reach 5000 points, which I finally achieved 22 November. I claimed my hard earned £50 straight away. When nothing had appeared by 27.12.12., I emailed and received a reply next day, saying that payments normally take place within a four week timescale, but because of Christmas, are taking an extra 10-14 days. Seems like they want to hang on to their dosh for as long as possible. Hope thats helps anyone who is waiting as well.

I have been a member for several years, if you expect a quick incentive then use a different survey site as it does take a long time to achieve the 5000 points required for a BACS payment. This has never been an issue for me as I have found the surveys to be interesting and relevant to me mostly.
However, after finally earning the points to redeem in mid-november I have received no payment as at 04.12.13, I have sent two emails through the website and have had no response whatsoever.
I wouldn't even mind if they emailed back saying that they apologise but there are a few delays as I would at least know the status.
It appears that a lot of the comments on here are quite recent so I assume it is a new problem?
Very frustrating.

Was with you gov for a number of weeks and heard absolutly diddly squit from them no surveys no nothing total waste of time appearded to more aimed at airing their political views than giving surveys

I have been an member since 2005,it has taken me seven years in order to cash out finally. I receive at least one survey a week they are easy to complete. But the cashout threshold is really high. You get an minimum of 500 pts per survey,maximum of 1000 pts. Cashout threshold is 35,000 pts to get $15 which they put that into affect last week, to attract more people to sign up with there panel.

It'll take you a good long time to make enough points to get a decent prize. To even get $15 takes 35,000 points. Have been a member about 6 months and only have 12,000 points, and I have done every survey they sent, which was not many. I figure it takes a full year to even get 24,000 points.

To get their $100 prize, it will probably take FOUR YEARS!
