Most surveys tend to award between 30-160 points (depending on the length). 100 points equals $1.00. Reliable but rewards have gone downhill

January 25, 2012 by Tracy from United States

I've been a member of ZoomPanel for more than 5yrs. They were one of my favorites. They deactivated me once with no explanation. It took a couple of calls but they rectified it relatively quickly and I received all my points back (almost 10,000 at the time!). I redeemed for some great things. Now the options are paltry and pathetic. As others have mentioned, I have no interest in cheap gimicky items. Bring back the DVD's and books and gift certificates so I can get something I WANT!

You do get rewarded...eventually

Takes a while to get rewarded but the Amazon virtual gift certificates are nice, they add up and then pretty soon you have money on credit to spend on Amazon.

warning: incentives have declined

November 14, 2011 by Lorna from United States

I have enjoyed being with Zoompanel for the last six years. I always felt their incentives have improved over time and I have gotten some great books, music and DVDs from them. Suffice to say, they recently changed the outfit that supplied the incentives and they have really declined. Now there are not many books, music and DVDs to choose from, but instead there are too many discounts on useless items, and the items that I may be interested in take points that I might not be able to earn for a few years yet. It was easy to get something for 2,000-3,000 points. But now you need more points to get what you want. I wish they would go back. I might leave if the incentives don't improve, and after six years being with Zoompanel, this might be sad for me. I love their surveys and the points I received from them were very fair.

Terrible Incentives!

October 10, 2011 by Susan from United Kingdom

Since I had almost earned enough points to exchange for a gift card and received an email from Zoom to say that the incentives had been "improved", I checked their website. I'm very glad I did as I see that they have "improved" them by completely removing gift cards as an incentive and replaced them with a choice of 21 small gimmicky gadgets which are of no interest to me whatsoever.

There's no reason for me to continue completing surveys for Zoom so I shall stop. I just wish I'd managed to earn another 5 points to reach the required level for a gift certificate before they changed things.

They can keep their picnic rugs and golf balls!

Not flawless

September 5, 2011 by Rachel from United States

So, I did actually have the thing happen where they booted me out one time for no reason, but reinstated me as soon as I realized that it what had happened. I do believe my points I had before were reinstated too though, so while it was an inconvenience, I felt they handled the situation alright.

The new reward system *IS* better than the last and you can now get Amazon gift cards, etc. They do seem to be stepping it up. I do enjoy their surveys too. You can leave the computer and typically come back to it and it'll still be there.
