The Acumen panel is an Ireland based group run by Acumen Online. Acumen Online provides research services to a range of Irish and international companies. The type of surveys conducted range from opinion polls to new concept testing.

Getting Started

You will need to register to become a member of the Acumen Online Panel. This involves completing a brief questionnaire. It is also advised that you fill out the under the “update your profile” section of your account to ensure the relevant information needed to send you surveys catered to your demographic on a regular basis will be on file.

Length of Surveys

Surveys range from 10 minutes to more than 30 minutes. The points will be awarded in proportion to the survey length. You can also take a break and come back to a survey later!

Sharepoints" System

Taking surveys with Acumen online will earn you "Sharepoints". For each estimated minute it will take you to complete the survey, you will receive 20 Sharepoints. Acumen tries to be transparent in its points and estimates that panelists receive 1€ for every 5 minute survey completed. They will even give you 10 Sharepoints for surveys if you don’t qualify.

The Sharepoints store is run through AllGifts where you can use your points to purchase products or vouchers for retailers such as Amazon, Tesco, and more. You can even donate them to charity!

Redeeming Sharepoints

Once you have earned a minimum of 1,000 Sharepoints, you can begin to redeem your rewards. Redeem Sharepoints for AllGifts vouchers in 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50 Euro denominations. Vouchers are valid for 12 months after redemption.

AllGifts.ie is Ireland’s largest gift and reward website, and features over 10,000 instant voucher gifts on offer for Ireland’s best shops, galleries, garden centers, hotels, spas, restaurants, activities, adventures and more. Note that AllGifts vouchers cannot be used directly with the reward partner suppliers. All vouchers must be redeemed via AllGifts to qualify. If the selected item costs more than your balance on your account, you can pay the difference by Laser Card, Visa or Mastercard.

Open to residents of Ireland only.

My account was verified and then now I can’t take any surveys it’s keeps telling me I don’t qualify on every survey I tried to take, I had just made this account yesterday and now it isn’t working, so what is going on five survey. Customer service hasn’t reached out for me for more than 24 hours.

Joined Acumen Panel April '22 and have participated in 30 approx surveys. No communication from Acumen other than requests from Conor to participate in surveys.
Cannot log in to members area. Have requested change of password three times - no response whatsoever. Have emailed several times - again no response.
Have received no compensation for surveys completed.
Anyone else have similar experience?

Acumen is another of the panels I've been with for many years. Surveys are not as frequent as with other panels, but they add up over time. The surveys from Acumen always feel more relevant and personally tailored than some from other panels, too. Payments for surveys are fair for the time spent on them. The reward scheme is good but not ideal... It's through a third-party and requires having another account there (which I wouldn't have otherwise). I've never had any issues getting paid for surveys or claiming rewards either, so both are very reliable. The Acumen website isn't great and can be buggy, but it's manageable and one gets used to it. Customer service is top notch, I've always gotten replies to emails sent and any queries I had over the years were answered quickly, professionally, and in a friendly manner. All in all, another great survey site to add to the list and very much recommended!

Acumen panel wont give you a lot of surveys but you can be assured they're worthwhile ones and trustworthy

Highly recommended Irish survey panel. You wont make huge money but great for treating yourself to some vouchers to shop with! Definitely one of the better ones
