Founded in 1999, Global Test Market is an online survey panel owned by Lightspeed Research, a Kantar groups company. Global Test Market is one of the world’s leading providers of market research and serves clients in more than 60 countries worldwide.

They rewarded their panelists more than $30 million+ USD in 2016 alone! As a panelist, you can earn points for completing surveys that can be redeemed for reward items from over 200 partners, redeem your points for cash via PayPal, or donate your points to charity.

Registration Process

Registering is easy, simple and free. Click the registration link where you will be asked simple questions about you and your household. The results are used to determine which surveys you are a good fit for.

Rewards Information

Each survey takes on average 15 minutes to complete and reward amounts depend on the survey length and urgency.

If you are screened out of surveys, you may be entered into a quarterly sweepstakes competition. For each sweepstakes entry you earn, you will be automatically entered into the drawing and if you are a winner, you will be notified via email. Remember to respond before the deadline provided to claim your prize.

LifePoints

For each survey completed, you will receive LifePoints, which you can accumulate to redeem cash and prizes. Each email invitation will alert you to how many LifePoints you will receive for taking the survey. LifePoints expire 3 years after being awarded the points, or after 12 months if there is no activity on the account.

On April 17, 2017, MarketPoints were discontinued and replaced by these new 'LifePoints' at a 1 for 5 conversion rate. Collected points can be redeemed for many different reward options, which may vary, depending on your country of residence. Rewards can be redeemed once you have accumulated 1,100 LifePoints ($10) in your account. Note that if you have a friend that was grandfathered in from the old Points program, they will be offered slightly different points than those who joined GlobalTestMarket after April 2017.

Types of Surveys Offered

Many of GlobalTestMarket’s surveys ask your opinion on movies, restaurant, automobiles, consumer products, current events, and a variety of other interesting and fun topics. You can also download the LifePoints app onto your phone so you can take surveys on your mobile.

Points Expectations

You can expect to earn between 35-250 LifePoints based on the level of complexity or urgency of the survey. Even if you do not qualify for the survey, you may still receive 5 LifePoints..

Option to Give Back

In addition to the great selection of rewards, Global Test Market gives you the option to give back to your community! Unicef charity donations can be redeemed with collected LifePoints.

Refer Your Friends!

You can refer your friends by entering their email when you are signed into your account. If they fill out at least 2 surveys, you also earn points.

Rewards Processing Time

Rewards usually take about 4-6 weeks to arrive if you are in the United States and 6-8 weeks for international panel members.

Glitchy and errors are frequent, often have to answer many questions before being screened out - so one is giving away their opinions for nothing much of the time.
Takes a very long time to earn anything as the minimum before cashing out is very high. I would avoid and if i could go back in time I would never have started doing their surveys. Unfortunately now that they have my time I want to finish up with them so I can get my reward.

This company used to be my favorite and ever since the new point system, I would never recommend this site. One used to get paid 1 dollar to 1.75$ per 15 minute survey, but that has dropped down to about .30 cents per survey. Unless you are poor and desperate, don't waste your time with this website, unless they bring back the old system.

Once one of the most worthwhile surveys sites, this place has cratered recently. In addition to the more frequent "header...error" messages upon survey completion, as documented elsewhere on here, they have drastically devalued their points without increasing the number paid for completions.
Long ago, a point was worth 5 cents; the then-common 35 point survey paid $1.75. Over time, the point became devalued to .042 cents, the average survey down to 30 points; the average survey now paying $1.26.
Recently with the switch to "life points", the point is now worth only .0083 cents; a thirty point survey currently paying just a quarter, assuming you don't get the error message upon completion, then it pays nothing.

Their new points system requires 5x the points to redeem for a $50 check (1200 points is now 6000 points required). But their survey rewards are lower than ever. I was offered a whopping 10 "new" points for a survey...equates to TWO 92) points under the old system. Unreal. At that rate it would take me a decade to earn the 6000 points needed for a $50 Paypal payment. AND, they now charge you an extra $10 "fee" to cash out your points. Dont waste your time. .

I've been with this panel for I think about 5 months now... I cashed out for a $50 e-gift card last month or so with no problem, I recently saved up over $25 worth of points... I wanted to push it up to $50 before cashing out again, which I was getting close to... but they recently updated their website to a new point system... I tried logging in for the first time since their update and I just can't get in. Maybe it's a temporary glitch, I sent them a message so we'll see what happens, but also noticed I hadn't gotten any emails from them in about 5 days. I requested a password reminder which I got from them and it was the correct password I had been entering but yet I still can't get in. So I'm hoping they didn't do something to either boot me or lock me out like others have said on here cause that's like $25 worth of points they're taking from me if they do, very disappointing. I'll note that recently I had a similar problem with them, their site was so laggy that I couldn't even reach the login screen for a few days but that issue seems to have been fixed. Will update if anything changes. *Update* They emailed me back saying my account was deactivated because I had marked their emails as spam (how the heck would they even know that in the first place?), that's really dumb because I was getting way too many emails from them on a daily basis and it was only cluttering my inbox, I don't need those emails cause I visit the panel on my own anyways, they claimed that they reactivated my account but I still can't login... I messaged them back so we'll see what happens now. Needless to say this is frustrating.
