Founded in 1999, Global Test Market is an online survey panel owned by Lightspeed Research, a Kantar groups company. Global Test Market is one of the world’s leading providers of market research and serves clients in more than 60 countries worldwide.

They rewarded their panelists more than $30 million+ USD in 2016 alone! As a panelist, you can earn points for completing surveys that can be redeemed for reward items from over 200 partners, redeem your points for cash via PayPal, or donate your points to charity.

Registration Process

Registering is easy, simple and free. Click the registration link where you will be asked simple questions about you and your household. The results are used to determine which surveys you are a good fit for.

Rewards Information

Each survey takes on average 15 minutes to complete and reward amounts depend on the survey length and urgency.

If you are screened out of surveys, you may be entered into a quarterly sweepstakes competition. For each sweepstakes entry you earn, you will be automatically entered into the drawing and if you are a winner, you will be notified via email. Remember to respond before the deadline provided to claim your prize.

LifePoints

For each survey completed, you will receive LifePoints, which you can accumulate to redeem cash and prizes. Each email invitation will alert you to how many LifePoints you will receive for taking the survey. LifePoints expire 3 years after being awarded the points, or after 12 months if there is no activity on the account.

On April 17, 2017, MarketPoints were discontinued and replaced by these new 'LifePoints' at a 1 for 5 conversion rate. Collected points can be redeemed for many different reward options, which may vary, depending on your country of residence. Rewards can be redeemed once you have accumulated 1,100 LifePoints ($10) in your account. Note that if you have a friend that was grandfathered in from the old Points program, they will be offered slightly different points than those who joined GlobalTestMarket after April 2017.

Types of Surveys Offered

Many of GlobalTestMarket’s surveys ask your opinion on movies, restaurant, automobiles, consumer products, current events, and a variety of other interesting and fun topics. You can also download the LifePoints app onto your phone so you can take surveys on your mobile.

Points Expectations

You can expect to earn between 35-250 LifePoints based on the level of complexity or urgency of the survey. Even if you do not qualify for the survey, you may still receive 5 LifePoints..

Option to Give Back

In addition to the great selection of rewards, Global Test Market gives you the option to give back to your community! Unicef charity donations can be redeemed with collected LifePoints.

Refer Your Friends!

You can refer your friends by entering their email when you are signed into your account. If they fill out at least 2 surveys, you also earn points.

Rewards Processing Time

Rewards usually take about 4-6 weeks to arrive if you are in the United States and 6-8 weeks for international panel members.

I joined this survey company about 8 weeks ago and I received lots of survey requests during the first 6 weeks. I did get screened out of some but I still managed to complete an average of 6 per week at about 30 pts per survey. However this changed as soon as I got within 120 pts of the 1087 pts needed to take my rewards as cash. I have not received many survey invites in the last 10 days and have only managed to qualify to do one of them. I get screened out much more and sometimes after doing one for about 10 mins. I had a request today which I replied to within 30 secs and was advised that the survey had been completed by enough members and I needed to be quicker ! I am skeptical that I will ever get my 1087 points and this Company will keep stalling and never give me the chance of completing enough surveys for me to get my reward. If I can then I will update this in the future to let people know the outcome.

I've been using this site for almost two years. Reading others' comments, I agree with many. Yes, you are screened out fast. In my case a 70+ year old with a PH.D. working full time puts me in a rather unique group, so I expect to get screened out a lot. I agree some, the surveys are time consuming and on occasion end before you can finish. Once all my points were changed when I was only a few away from another reward. I also have noted that when you approach a point total that will allow you to redeem for a reward, the surveys offered a few and far between. My biggest grip is that I'm still waiting for an Amazon gift card from last July and this is after numerous requests. As someone noted, it may be good for insomnia and nothing more.

just joined few days ago and made over 300 points .

you can cash out at 730 points ($10) or something via paypal and I never received a survey that pays less then 40 points so far.

I can't tell you that if site is legit or scam because I haven't request for any cash out.

I will update my review if I get my payment and increase the rating too..

I am still studying this survey company, since I've not yet made the first the reward threshold. Even though they have the fastest and largest replenishment of surveys all the time and the fastest screen out process, they are becoming part the least productive survey companies I've interacted with. GMT effectively uses the detailed profile you complete and can qualify you an a page or two for each survey. The problem is You can have prolonged back-to-back screen, the longest I've experienced is over 30 in a row. This very low level of success deters me from regular participation. Also they have a policy of only showing a history of surveys you were awarded points for, this is a good strategy to allay the disappointingly low completion rate. The only reason I'm coming back is I'm getting close to the first payout threshold. I'm expecting after getting my perk, I'll be relegating GMT to the lowest level I have in my list for active accounts, just above the survey companies I've quit, deactivated and just need a reminder to never go back to.

My estimate is this survey company is good for a max of $100 a year, if you can put up with it.
