Electronic Rewards

Harris Poll offers their members the opportunity to earn points, known as HIpoints in exchange for their participation. Once you earn 1250 points (worth $10), you can request an e-gift voucher from places like Amazon, iTunes, Starbucks, Walmart, ESPN, and more. You may also be entered into sweepstakes after each completed survey for even more chances of winning big.

Get Disqualified, But Still Have a Chance to Win!

If you attempt to complete a survey, but are disqualified in the process, you will receive an entry into the Harris Panel Sweepstakes. You will be also be offered the opportunity to try qualifying for other available surveys.

Survey Lengths

Online surveys typically take anywhere between 5-25 minutes to complete. Short surveys will take around 5 minutes, and very long ones are around 25 minutes. These reasonable survey lengths will keep your attention and prevent you from getting bored too quickly! There are special surveys on offer as well including special focus groups, telephone based surveys, and even surveys about independently downloaded software. Common survey topics, however, range from fashion to movies to shopping habits.

Participate Often

Expect to receive between 3-5 online surveys a month.

Earn Points

Even if you are disqualified from completing a survey, expect to receive around 15 HIpoints! The amount of points you get per survey varies depending on the length or complexity of the survey.

Harris Poll now has an app, available on iOS and Android. The mobile apps will require you to login with your Harris credentials. Using the app allows you to see survey opportunities, take surveys, participate in special research programs and access your rewards. Turn on your notification settings for the app to receive new survey opportunities in real time.

Cashing Out

After you have reached 1250 points, you are able to redeem your HIpoints for e-cards and gift vouchers. Most people who participate, reach this threshold after completing around 10 surveys. Rewards include e-cards or gift vouchers from Amazon, iTunes, Starbucks and more.

Rewards Processing Times

Redeem your rewards and receive them within 15 business days. They will be sent to your e-mail account. Most rewards will be credited to your account within 10 minutes of your participation, but occasionally it may take as long as 24 hours for the credit to appear in your account. If you are redeeming your HIpoints, you will receive your e-code within 24-48 hours of cashing in your HIpoints. If you have cashed in for physical merchandise, you will receive your merchandise via USPS within 7-14 business days. All costs of rewards (including shipping and handling) are covered by Harris Poll, unless you are redeeming products using an e-certificate.

HarrisPoll gives away a $10,000 USD prize every quarter to one lucky winner in their Histakes - the Harris Poll Online Sweepstakes. You earn an entry if you have been disqualified for surveys, as well as for actions like participating in short surveys that may not award points. I belonged to this one for a few years, cashed out twice only. I do believe it was a waste of time. I didn't realize I was only making about .10 per survey. I had so much trouble the last time I got a gift certificate from them, I left the panel. There are better paying ones out there. I reduced this to 1/2 star because you can never rejoin them ever.

Don't waste your time on this site. I spent a lot of time doing surveys and got nothing for it. You have to keep putting in the same information every time to qualify for surveys. Half the time I didnt qualify, even though I just spent about 5 minutes with that survey. After I got enough points saved up for a reward, I requested one. The next day I couldnt access my account. I followed a survey link in my email and it says I have no account. I've sent requests for access to my account or at least get my reward, but 3 weeks and no response so far. Don't bother

I have been taking surveys for Harris Poll a long time. When the time comes to get my rewards all of a sudden they cancel my account with no explaination nothing. I do not believe after all my time and energy they will not give me my reward. GIVE ME MY REWARD THEN YOU CAN CANCEL ME. CAN WE SAY RIP OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been participating with Harris Poll for many years, and was very happy with them. Then in early 2017 things began to get strange, and by July 2017 I could no longer access my account. I reset my password as directed, then I could not even get the site to recognized my email. I had collected over $50 that I had not yet cashed out, and of course, now I cannot collect it. ALL my emails to their contact have been ignored.
In order to try to find out what they did to our accounts, I used a different email to sign up anew. After fully completing the sign up, I received a message telling me they "could not verify my credentials" whatever that is supposed to mean. Then they began sending me VIP welcomes as well as survey invites. Clicked on them, would answer a few questions, then get a message that I was not a member.
I attempted to call their offices, some woman named "Pam" actually sounded extremely annoyed that I was calling, and then would only transfer me to someone that did not answer their phone. I would get a voice mail directing me to leave my name, number, and email, directing me to spell out my name and email address, but it never allowed me to leave the message.
I am not sure what they did to this site, but I truly believe that Harris Poll has gone the way of so many others, and those of us that had rewards coming to us, have absolutely been cheated out of what we earned.

I officially redeemed my first 10$ gift card. Harris poll will send you survey invites through email. It is so simple and easy. The layout is really simple and the surveys are a good length.
