Electronic Rewards

Harris Poll offers their members the opportunity to earn points, known as HIpoints in exchange for their participation. Once you earn 1250 points (worth $10), you can request an e-gift voucher from places like Amazon, iTunes, Starbucks, Walmart, ESPN, and more. You may also be entered into sweepstakes after each completed survey for even more chances of winning big.

Get Disqualified, But Still Have a Chance to Win!

If you attempt to complete a survey, but are disqualified in the process, you will receive an entry into the Harris Panel Sweepstakes. You will be also be offered the opportunity to try qualifying for other available surveys.

Survey Lengths

Online surveys typically take anywhere between 5-25 minutes to complete. Short surveys will take around 5 minutes, and very long ones are around 25 minutes. These reasonable survey lengths will keep your attention and prevent you from getting bored too quickly! There are special surveys on offer as well including special focus groups, telephone based surveys, and even surveys about independently downloaded software. Common survey topics, however, range from fashion to movies to shopping habits.

Participate Often

Expect to receive between 3-5 online surveys a month.

Earn Points

Even if you are disqualified from completing a survey, expect to receive around 15 HIpoints! The amount of points you get per survey varies depending on the length or complexity of the survey.

Harris Poll now has an app, available on iOS and Android. The mobile apps will require you to login with your Harris credentials. Using the app allows you to see survey opportunities, take surveys, participate in special research programs and access your rewards. Turn on your notification settings for the app to receive new survey opportunities in real time.

Cashing Out

After you have reached 1250 points, you are able to redeem your HIpoints for e-cards and gift vouchers. Most people who participate, reach this threshold after completing around 10 surveys. Rewards include e-cards or gift vouchers from Amazon, iTunes, Starbucks and more.

Rewards Processing Times

Redeem your rewards and receive them within 15 business days. They will be sent to your e-mail account. Most rewards will be credited to your account within 10 minutes of your participation, but occasionally it may take as long as 24 hours for the credit to appear in your account. If you are redeeming your HIpoints, you will receive your e-code within 24-48 hours of cashing in your HIpoints. If you have cashed in for physical merchandise, you will receive your merchandise via USPS within 7-14 business days. All costs of rewards (including shipping and handling) are covered by Harris Poll, unless you are redeeming products using an e-certificate.

You earn an entry if you have been disqualified for surveys, as well as for actions like participating in short surveys that may not award points. Went to BBB after they wouldn't pay me for 2 surveys I did for them, after that I got a notice from the BBB that they have given me my points .But I have been checking everyday and no points.So I went to check before telling the BBB ya I got them and sure enough they were there and on my points summary it says BBB COMPLIANT # so,so,so.At first I wanted to laugh went I saw that then went hmmm why did they have to put that ?I dont know I'm just glad it worked and if I have to go back on them I will.They really need to get it together.
After they gave me my points I couldn't get into my account anymore so I sent them a email which they answered in 2 days.Here is their response

Dear Panel Member,

Thank you for contacting us. We have reviewed your account, and I show that your account has been removed due to quality issues. Unfortunately, at this time we are no longer accepting re-registration. We do apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you.

This is the thanks I get for being with them for 15 years.Plus they ripped me off for 796 pts. or $5.00. So to me that said they really didn't want to pay me for those surveys and since I complained they decided to rip me off. Don't trust them.
I contacted the BBB about them not paying me and wanting my $5 in my account but they would not respond to their emails.I have lost all respect for this company.

Started out, went pretty good. I thought I had found a way to make some extra money. Then it got to where I couldnt log in. So now I have stopped doing surveys all together. They keep sending me them but I just delete them.

They sent me an email saying I had cashed in $50 and mailed it to an address in a different state, under a different name. I tried contacting them to tell them and nobody responded back to my many inquiries. So I refuse to do another survey if someone else can cash in my money. They plain ignore me and it has been over a year now.

It started out pretty good. Went downhill fast. Way too long to get enough points to cash in on. I'm cutting my losses and leaving. If you don't mind the waiting you can reach a goal sooner or later.

I am a newcomer to Harris Poll Online. Compared to other online survey panels, the surveys are not as frequent and I seem to not qualify for very many surveys. The surveys that I have completed have been interesting, however at this rate it may take quite some time before I can redeem any rewards.
