Survey Types

Take online surveys on a variety of different topics. Typically survey payouts are between $0.50 to $1.25. Surveys vary in length, but usually you earn 10 points per 5 minutes of taking part in a survey.

Redeeming Your Points

1,000 points are the equivalent of $10 USD. You need at least 1,000 points to begin redeeming your rewards. Points are generally rewarded once the survey has been completed, but in some cases, points will be rewarded after the survey closes (which could take up to 3 months).

Reward Types and Amounts

My Survey offers an extensive number of reward options:

• exchange your points for a payment to your PayPal account. 1,000 points = $10 PayPal payment
• exchange your points for an e-voucher from a variety of different retailers. These include: Amazon, Boston Pizza, Aldo, Macy's, Payless Shoes, the Olive Garden, and many more (1,000 points = $10 gift card).
• exchange your points for a cash donation to a variety of different charities. (1,000 points = $10 charity donation).
• exchange your points for merchandise including small electronics, jewelry, small kitchen appliances, more. There are dozens of options to choose from. Point amounts vary per item.

Paid Surveys

MySurvey offers traditional online surveys, whose payouts will depend upon the length and complexity of the survey offered.

Product Testing Opportunities

Occasionally MySurvey may offer product testing opportunities to their members.

Video Surveys

My Survey recently introduced to its members the opportunity to take webcam and video surveys.

Referral Program

MySurvey offers a referral program whereby referring friends and family from other households will net you 150 points (worth approximately $1.50).

Bonus Sweepstakes Opportunities

Every month, a few members are randomly selected to receive 10,000 points in exchange for being active on MySurvey. You receive an entry into the sweepstakes when you join the MySurvey panel and participate in panel activities (surveys, quick matches, mini polls or other activities offered).

For certain surveys completed, you will receive an entry into this same sweepstakes. The more you participate, the better your chances of winning the draw. The quarterly draw is for the following prizes: (1) reward of 500 Panel Points, (2) rewards of $250 Panel Points and (100) rewards of $10 Panel Points. This site used to send me more frequent and more lucrative surveys but the regular ones now are usually less than $1.00 and are coming less frequently. They do however pay $10.00 for keeping a purchasing survey for a month and I get these invitations once a quarter. I suspect you need to be pretty complete in filling out the diary (I am) in order to get more. Presumably they use it for geographical cluster analysis.

So, this site is technically legit - it *does* pay. It doesn't pay a *lot*, or terribly quickly, but it does pay. It sends me on average a survey or two a day, which is on the better side as far as that goes, and payment per survey is about standard, maybe a bit on the low side of standard but not ridiculously so. I qualify for roughly half of the surveys they send me, maybe a little less than that. I've also noticed surveys come in waves - sometimes I'll get a lot, sometimes I'll get none. There was a period last month where I got no surveys from them for almost 3 weeks, then a deluge. But you do get a decent number of surveys on average, and you will qualify for a decent number of those you get, so basically totally average there. I've gotten $25 bucks from them in about 2 months, which is on the low side, but not nothing, and payout was rather slow, but it did eventually arrive after about a week with no additional prompting on my part.

I'd give them 3-3.5 stars, except on top of all that, their site is buggy in one incredibly irritating way: when I first started with them, I would open all the surveys I had available, fill them all out... and they'd all error out. At the *end*. So I'd get no credit for any of them. Eventually, after about 4 or 5 of these, I figured out (through no help from their support email that sent me a useless form response every time I reported it) that this happens if you ever have more than one MySurvey survey open in the same browser at once. Which is particular great, because sometimes other survey sites will also load MySurvey surveys, invalidating those as well, so you basically can't take *any* other surveys from *anywhere* while you're filling out surveys here one at a time, just in case. When I figured out that's what was going on, I finished cashing out the min 10 bucks, now I'm done with this one.

I have been with them for more than 10 years and the past 2 have been nothing but problems. I continually receive error messages after completing surveys and receive no points. The help center refuses to credit my account and keeps just replying with stock unhelpful answers. Also have has issues redeeming awards because the site keeps going down. While it was great for years, it is nothing but trouble now and I would not recommend this site.

I have been trying to sign into mysurvey account for the last 2 weeks and it says my account is not currently active. I have not been receiving any surveys to do in the last 2 weeks. I have sent them emails with no answers. I am wondering if this is happening to anyone else and what they have done. Thanks.

like the rest, starts out like a barn on fire, when you get 1/2 to first $10-$20 gift card, boom!, stops dead...."No surveys for you at this time.", mailbox goes totally quiet....feast or famine. I'm not looking to get rich on surveys, but it can get pretty discouraging to go 3 days without one.
