Beginning early 2019, Lightspeed shut down MySurvey in some countries, and merged those members into LifePoints. In June of 2019, MySurvey panels and members worldwide were fully integrated into LifePoints.

MySurvey has been collecting American opinions since 1946 as National Family Opinion, NFO and TNS. Payment and Rewards

Survey Types

Take online surveys on a variety of different topics. Typically survey payouts are between $0.50 to $1.25. Surveys vary in length, but usually you earn 10 points per 5 minutes of taking part in a survey.

Redeeming Your Points

1,000 points are the equivalent of $10 USD. You need at least 1,000 points to begin redeeming your rewards. Points are generally rewarded once the survey has been completed, but in some cases, points will be rewarded after the survey closes (which could take up to 3 months).

Reward Types and Amounts

My Survey offers an extensive number of reward options:

  • exchange your points for a payment to your PayPal account. 1,000 points = $10 PayPal payment
  • exchange your points for an e-voucher from a variety of different retailers. These include: Amazon, Boston Pizza, Aldo, Macy's, Payless Shoes, the Olive Garden, and many more (1,000 points = $10 gift card).
  • exchange your points for a cash donation to a variety of different charities. (1,000 points = $10 charity donation).
  • exchange your points for merchandise including small electronics, jewelry, small kitchen appliances, more. There are dozens of options to choose from. Point amounts vary per item.

Referral Program

MySurvey offers a referral program whereby referring friends and family from other households will net you 150 points (worth approximately $1.50).

Bonus Sweepstakes Opportunities

Every month, a few members are randomly selected to receive 10,000 points in exchange for being active on MySurvey. You receive an entry into the sweepstakes when you join the MySurvey panel and participate in panel activities (surveys, quick matches, mini polls or other activities offered).

For certain surveys completed, you will receive an entry into this same sweepstakes. The more you participate, the better your chances of winning the draw. The quarterly draw is for the following prizes: (1) reward of 500 Panel Points, (2) rewards of $250 Panel Points and (100) rewards of $10 Panel Points. If you win, you will be notified via email within 10 days of the draw.

Eligibility: Must be age 16+ to participate in USA, 14+ in Canada. Other countries may vary.

Seriously going downhill!

I have been a panel member for over 12 years, receiving products to try, lots of gift cards, etc. In the past 6 months, it seems I am screened out of nearly every survey I complete. In December, I did a Beverage Diary for a week and never received the points. Their Help Desk function does not work. This week I was in the middle of doing a My Personal Routine diary, and suddenly my account is 'inactive'. I tried twice to contact them, to no avail, so as promised, I am reporting this.

MySurvey used to be my favorite panel! Now it is one of the worst!!!

Used to be good, now HORRIBLE!!

I've been with MySurvey for a number of years. A few times I've had to be reactivated through no fault of theirs due to account inactivity. Sometimes life just gets in the way.But now I don't even know if I want to be a member anymore. There are so many issues with them. Wrong amount of points being credited or after completing time consuming surveys you get an error message when trying to submit it and never get credit for them. You submit support requests and they ALWAYS have EXCUSES and never make right by their panelists. They claim you got the right amount of points you didn't complete the whole thing. If you have site issues they tell you not to use IE or FireFox and to use Chrome browser then when you reply and say you already use that browser, their story changes and they tell you to use IE. They have become horrible. I'm owed well over 500 points, possible even over 1000 due to getting repetitively screwed by their system. They used to care, now they dont!

I'm posting this review here more to alert folks to what may be an issue and my rating here is at this point meant to be neutral.

I've been with MySurvey for a good number of years and have cashed in a fine amount of rewards, but as of September 2016, something appears to be coming off the rails.

Without getting into much detail, I had a problem with completing a month-long diary survey, so submitted a trouble ticket and got a reply that they would audit it but could take 4-6 weeks (!) to study. OK, depending on the result that may be fine and well.

However, right around that time, I'm not getting any emails for new surveys (even before I submitted my request), when I go to the site I have seen only one or two surveys for all of September, WAY under the usual several per day (of which I may qualify for one or two).

I wish them the best of luck in dealing with what might be internal problems, also curious how many others have noticed this kind of issue.

Update from Jan 28, 2017 -- After waiting and wondering why I wasn't seeing any surveys, I did contact them, and eventually got a reply. They claimed that I was deactivated because I accessed the site from a non-US location which is against their TOS. Uh? NO, I haven't been away, period. They did say that some company networks may route thru a foreign address which could raise this flag, again I haven't done anything like that.

I saw no indication of some kind of compromised status, and in the meanwhile I was able to see and cash in my points (figured better take the money and run), so nothing was forfeited.

However, they did reinstate my status and I'm again receiving a fair number of surveys. Not that I qualify for many, but at least it's working again.

5 year member ,no problems till about a year ago,then out of the blue to months ago i get member inactive ,lost points,and no reply from costumer service .Owell.

I really enjoyed the survey. It held my interest and asked questions that were important to me. I liked the questions about how the ads effected me. I do sometimes find ads aggravating. Some ads seem to insult my intelligence and so make me angry. I appreciated that I was asked if these ads made me feel this way.
