Survey Types

Take online surveys on a variety of different topics. Typically survey payouts are between $0.50 to $1.25. Surveys vary in length, but usually you earn 10 points per 5 minutes of taking part in a survey.

Redeeming Your Points

1,000 points are the equivalent of $10 USD. You need at least 1,000 points to begin redeeming your rewards. Points are generally rewarded once the survey has been completed, but in some cases, points will be rewarded after the survey closes (which could take up to 3 months).

Reward Types and Amounts

My Survey offers an extensive number of reward options:

• exchange your points for a payment to your PayPal account. 1,000 points = $10 PayPal payment
• exchange your points for an e-voucher from a variety of different retailers. These include: Amazon, Boston Pizza, Aldo, Macy's, Payless Shoes, the Olive Garden, and many more (1,000 points = $10 gift card).
• exchange your points for a cash donation to a variety of different charities. (1,000 points = $10 charity donation).
• exchange your points for merchandise including small electronics, jewelry, small kitchen appliances, more. There are dozens of options to choose from. Point amounts vary per item.

Paid Surveys

MySurvey offers traditional online surveys, whose payouts will depend upon the length and complexity of the survey offered.

Product Testing Opportunities

Occasionally MySurvey may offer product testing opportunities to their members.

Video Surveys

My Survey recently introduced to its members the opportunity to take webcam and video surveys.

Referral Program

MySurvey offers a referral program whereby referring friends and family from other households will net you 150 points (worth approximately $1.50).

Bonus Sweepstakes Opportunities

Every month, a few members are randomly selected to receive 10,000 points in exchange for being active on MySurvey. You receive an entry into the sweepstakes when you join the MySurvey panel and participate in panel activities (surveys, quick matches, mini polls or other activities offered).

For certain surveys completed, you will receive an entry into this same sweepstakes. The more you participate, the better your chances of winning the draw. The quarterly draw is for the following prizes: (1) reward of 500 Panel Points, (2) rewards of $250 Panel Points and (100) rewards of $10 Panel Points. If you win, you will be notified via email within 10 days of the draw.

Eligibility: Must be age 16+ to participate in USA, 14+ in Canada. Other countries may vary.

I received plenty of survey invites but encountered ongoing technical issues: Surveys saying I hadn't completed them when I had, points not being rewarded, surveys not opening and saying that I had started and not finished. Had almost enough for a $20 Paypal cashout, but unable to earn enough points to actually redeem.

When I tried to redeem a $10 grocery card I encountered even more technical issues and it was impossible to process.

Customer service was ok in the beginning but with ongoing tech issues they just ignored my very friendly requests to investigate the issues.

I used to love this survey site. I am no longer able to access it. It won't let me sign in because I have a new email. It wouldn't let me on it to change it.

I registered a few months ago and I still haven't reached the minimum threshold. I couldn't complete most of the surveys

MySurvey is one of my favourite survey sites been offline for a while am glad their back. Pays well and most of the surveys are interesting. Only gripe is occasionally have trouble logging into their site. Still one of the better survey site for all that in my view.

It's been a long time since my review, so I might as well re-write it...

I've been a member of MySurvey (in one form or another) for almost 10 years. I've claimed a good amount of rewards from Amazon. They do not offer any general purpose rewards unless you count PayPal, so you're limited to specific online services when choosing. They have also raised the amount of points needed to earn rewards over the years.

There are a good amount of surveys offered, though they can be very sporadic. You can sometimes get 25 or so over a week long period, then 2 or 3 over the next couple of weeks. This means that many will expire if you're not on top of them. Overall I probably qualify a little over 50% of the time, and when you screen out you get 10 sweepstakes entries that you really have no chance of winning.

The big, huge, problem with My Survey are the questionable screen-outs and the dreadful customer service. It's not that common, but it does happen where you'll spend 15-20 minutes on a survey, only to be dumped out with no explanation. It's obvious that a screen out should be impossible at that point, but when you write to complain about it they will send you an auto response that says you screened out. If you ask a follow-up and request more information they'll simply say that have confirmed the screen-out and refuse to elaborate further. It would be easy for them to provide more details like where, when, and why, but they are not concerned with transparency despite their customer service claims.

Overall I can only give My Survey 2.5 stars. You can make some money off of it, but it would be so easy for the service to be better than it is. I feel like if I recommend it to people they're somewhat likely to have a bad experience.
