Some survey sites offer a refer-a-friend program, where, by becoming a member of the panel and referring friends or family members using a special link located in your account, you can earn cash or point credits.

How Survey Referral Programs Work

Become a member of the survey panels listed below and after logging into your account, look for a “refer-a-friend” link. Here, you will be provided with a unique url will track referrals that come through your link. This link is unique to you, so other users who refer friends will have a link that is different from yours.

Not all panels offer survey affiliate programs, but the table below shows sites that do. If you’re interested in recruiting friends, be sure to sign up with sites that offer these programs before becoming a member yourself.

How to Refer a Friend

Once you have your own unique link, post it on your website or blog, inviting people to join through you. Don’t have a website? Share it with friends in a text message, or on your social media accounts. You may especially have luck on Facebook or Twitter, unlike Instagram, where you can’t post links directly. In some cases, you may even be able to e-mail your friends directly through your survey site account, inviting them to join the panel.

Earning Tips:

Never send out spam – e-mailing your friends and family about a survey panel is fine, but avoid e-mailing acquaintances or strangers, as you can get fully banned from a panel for sending out spam.
Limit referrals to outside your household – although there are a handful of survey panels who allow each individual household member to have their own account, most don’t. When referring family members, ensure they don’t live in your home.
Post your referral link in your signature on forums (where allowed), and in your signature in e-mails for a passive way to advertise your link.
Add banners to your website and blog to recruit strangers under you. Better yet, write about your personal experiences with a survey panel so that people can get a feel for what being a member is really like.
