LiveTribe has multiple ways to gain points or win prizes beyond just filling out surveys. These include:

  • Competitions (monthly and gaming)
  • $5000 Giveaway Sweepstakes + 5 x $1000 Sweepstakes draws (almost any action you take on the site gains you an entry)

Extensive Reward Offerings

With LiveTribe, members can choose a reward that suits them most out of a large variety of options. Rewards include e-vouchers for Amazon, DealsDirect, Flight Centre, iTunes, Woolworths, and others, or you can choose to receive your rewards as cash via PayPal or EFTPOS money cards. Receiving rewards take anywhere between 5 days to 8 weeks, depending on the reward you have chosen. Note that some rewards carry extra costs for LiveTribe and extra points will be deducted to cover this. An example would be EFTPOS vouchers.

LiveTribe Points and Conversions

The reward conversion is 740 points for $1.00. Most surveys taken pay between 700 to 1,100 points, however some special surveys can pay as high as 4,000 points! The minimum payout is $10 or 7,400 points and rewards normally take 15 to 30 days to be processed and delivered. There are some exceptions, such as PayPal deposits which start at a minimum of $25.

The worst!

My 8 years of effort, more than 5L points, can't redeem my points. Each time I try to redeem for a gift card/PayPal cash, some technical issues are stopping me from point redemption, and personal information like first name and last name are updated with point redemption security question and answer, and now the account is unverified. No response to my support queries in this regard from the support team.

Right time to say goodbye to LiveTribe

LiveTribe website issues are becoming worse day by day: redeem points, login, members personal data security, etc. Surveys are not interested, and most of the surveys work only on PC. Worst customer support, and you must be very lucky to get your reward even after threshold time, 8 weeks. I already stopped attending their surveys after my last redemption of $50 PayPal cash 3 months ago and am still waiting.

LiveTribe IT Team is continuously proving they are useless.

I have been a member of LiveTribe for more than 6 years. When LiveTribe owned i-Link research regularly, my points were deleted and unsubscribed. After Pureprofile acquired LiveTribe, all issues still persist. For more than 2 years, their IT team and management are proving they are useless in their effort. Hopeless and I quit LiveTribe forever.

LiveTribe itself tells you that your personal data is not safe with them.

Recently, PureProfile acquired LiveTribe from iLink. LiveTribe is now welcoming its members with the below warning. I have seen this warning message in the member area for a while, and I faced the same issue a couple of times, and they haven't fixed this issue yet. How do we trust these people and spend our valuable time on their surveys?

We are currently experiencing a minor technical glitch that may inadvertently redeem points or unsubscribe accounts without member initiation. We are actively working to resolve this issue and appreciate your patience. Please email [email protected] if the above occurs on your account. Note that this is only affecting a handful of members.

Serious security breach... Personal data is not safe.

According to a mail dated July 8, 2024 from LiveTribe, a new company acquired LiveTribe. Without any consent from the members of Livetribe, they sold all members entire personal data to the new company. With the old company itself, members personal data was not safe at all, and for each issue related to a data security breach, they say "minor technical glitch, and we are actively working to resolve this issue." But always, the issue will be there, and they are not bothered. They always handle sensitive data very carelessly, never pay reward redemptions, and are money-minded. I don't want to keep my personal data with these companies and want to delete it from their server, but they only offer unsubscribing from their site.
