Opinion Outpost gives everyday consumers the opportunities to participate in online surveys and product tests in exchange for cash rewards and gift cards.

Signing up is free and to do so, simply enter your name, date of birth, zip code and email address on the registration form on their website. After that, you’ll be prompted to confirm your email address before you’re able to begin answering surveys.

Take Surveys and More

Once you've fully registered, you’ll see a “Surveys” link on your main account dashboard. This will take you to your list of available surveys. You can choose to have surveys emailed to you if you prefer.

You also have the option to add additional information (via profile surveys) to help Opinion Outpost match you with more relevant surveys to you.

You don't have to wait long to get rewarded - if you take a survey worth 50 points, you'll already have enough to redeem a $5 Amazon.com gift card. The following reward options are offered on the site in exchange for participating:

• PayPal payments - with only 100 points (worth $10/£5), you can request that a PayPal payment be made to your account. Bear in mind that only verified PayPal accounts will qualify for payment.
• Amazon e-vouchers - with just 50 points ($5) in your account, you can request an Amazon.com e-gift code.

Super-Fast Rewards Delivery

Opinion Outpost is very unique in that rewards are often delivered instantly after requesting them. It's uncommon to have to wait more than a few minutes/hours to receive a PayPal payment or e-gift card that you've requested, though technically they advertise a 3 day rewards processing period.

Take Surveys Often

Paid surveys will be sent to you on a regular basis. You can also visit the website, log in and find a list of available surveys, giving you plenty of chances to make cash. A typical Opinion Outpost survey takes 10-15 minutes to complete and the number of points you can expect to receive per survey ranges between 5 to 50 points.

Qualifying Questions

Before you begin your chosen survey, you may have to answer a series of multiple-choice questions. These may appear to be irrelevant to the topic of the survey itself, but are a way for researchers to ensure they're receiving responses from the people they're looking for answers from. Sometimes, you’ll be disqualified from taking the survey after answering these, however there will usually be other surveys available for you to take.

Opinion Outpost does not offer a mobile app. Although most of their surveys are mobile-friendly and can be completed on your phone, you will still need to access them via your e-mail, or by logging into the website from your phone.

Badges

Opinion Output offers ‘Badges’, which essentially serve as loyalty bonuses. You will start out with a Bronze membership and have the chance to upgrade to Silver, Gold, Platinum or Diamond based on how active you are on the website and how complete your profile is.

As your badge levels increase, additional achievement points are awarded, which can be found on your Survey History page. These will show up as 'community achievement'. Bear in mind that you can be downgraded to a lower tier badge if you don’t remain active on the website.

Quarterly Chances to Win $10,000

If you are in the USA and you get disqualified from a survey, participate in a survey, or exchange your valuable points for an entry, you will have a chance to win $10,000 in a quarterly cash draw. That means that $40,000 in total is awarded to 4 lucky members every year! If you are in Canada, there are also sweepstakes available in the form of 4 quarterly draws worth $1,250 each ($5,000 yearly).

Refer Your Friends to Earn More

Opinion Outpost's referral program will award you $1.00 every time you refer a friend using your custom link and they complete at least one survey. Earn up to $5.00 in total. I have been using this website daily to do surveys. In the last 3 weeks my internet has been interruptions constantly since before Covid internet hasnt been good but its worse now and I live in a rural mountain state. But I was trying to work on surveys on this site I got it 3 points from 20.00 and anybody that does surveys know its hard and you have to alot of 3 points and 5 points so its hard. They flagged my account because they said I did something to cause my account to be flagged. With my internet like this there were numerous surveys I got kicked off my internet then kicked off survey.. I answer all my surveys honesty except the ones you are forced to answer something even though its not relevant to you. This survey site did me really dirty.

I was recently notified by this company that they have closed my account and, although they refused to give me a reason even though I requested one, the only thing I can draw from their response is they cancelled my membership because I am also a member of Opinion World (a company they also own) and I am not allowed to be a member of both survey sites. I feel very betrayed and used and hope that no one else gets treated in this manner. Also, I was unable to cash in the many points I had earned to date.

Used to be a great site. I’m a platinum member now. But I ended up leaving because:
-a lot of disqualifications
-not being rewarded after spending an hour on a survey to be told at the very end that “the survey is extremely popular and they don’t need my opinion”
-the pay isn’t consistent.. there have been many times I went to redeem my rewards and they never rewarded me so I had to contact customer service every time - and while they did end up rewarding me and righting the wrongs, it’s aggravating when you spend so much time making money to not even know if they’re going to reward you or not
-they haven’t given me a survey in going on two weeks - not even ONE
-when they do give you a survey you can get halfway through and there will be a glitch which means you wasted your time and won’t get rewarded
-the only reason I gave them one star is because they used to be decent and they did not right their wrongs and finally award me what I deserved to be rewarded but other than that there are better survey sites out there that reward you when they say they will and always have surveys every day with minimal disqualifications

I wish I could give no stars because this is ridiculous. My account was just suspended for no reason after 4 years and working my way up to becoming a diamond member. I am extremely confused and upset after putting in all that hard work only for them to do this

I signed up with Opinion Outpost in 2013. They were my favorite survey site and I earned a lot with them. They recently redid their account and I was very happy because I was a diamond member and earned a lot more with their surveys. Recently, I was not getting any surveys and I was concerned. I looked up on facebook, survey police, reddit, etc, and it seems like this is happening to hundreds of people. I then tried to cash out for $20 and I received an error message. I then contacted them and received a message telling me my account has been indefinitely suspended due to my account being flagged for innaccurate and inattentive. This is simply not true and I am frankly very hurt that they would do this. I have been a loyal member for over 7 years. Please avoid at all costs. They started out really well, but have gone downhill very quickly.
