Opinion Outpost gives everyday consumers the opportunities to participate in online surveys and product tests in exchange for cash rewards and gift cards.

Signing up is free and to do so, simply enter your name, date of birth, zip code and email address on the registration form on their website. After that, you’ll be prompted to confirm your email address before you’re able to begin answering surveys.

Take Surveys and More

Once you've fully registered, you’ll see a “Surveys” link on your main account dashboard. This will take you to your list of available surveys. You can choose to have surveys emailed to you if you prefer.

You don't have to wait long to get rewarded - if you take a survey worth 50 points, you'll already have enough to redeem a $5 Amazon.com gift card. The following reward options are offered on the site in exchange for participating:

• PayPal payments - with only 100 points (worth $10/£5), you can request that a PayPal payment be made to your account. Bear in mind that only verified PayPal accounts will qualify for payment.
• Amazon e-vouchers - with just 50 points ($5) in your account, you can request an Amazon.com e-gift code.

Super-Fast Rewards Delivery

Opinion Outpost is very unique in that rewards are often delivered instantly after requesting them. It's uncommon to have to wait more than a few minutes/hours to receive a PayPal payment or e-gift card that you've requested, though technically they advertise a 3 day rewards processing period.

Take Surveys Often

Paid surveys will be sent to you on a regular basis. You can also visit the website, log in and find a list of available surveys, giving you plenty of chances to make cash. A typical Opinion Outpost survey takes 10-15 minutes to complete and the number of points you can expect to receive per survey ranges between 5 to 50 points.

Qualifying Questions

Before you begin your chosen survey, you may have to answer a series of multiple-choice questions. These may appear to be irrelevant to the topic of the survey itself, but are a way for researchers to ensure they're receiving responses from the people they're looking for answers from. Sometimes, you’ll be disqualified from taking the survey after answering these, however there will usually be other surveys available for you to take.

Opinion Outpost does not offer a mobile app. Although most of their surveys are mobile-friendly and can be completed on your phone, you will still need to access them via your e-mail, or by logging into the website from your phone.

Badges

Opinion Output offers ‘Badges’, which essentially serve as loyalty bonuses. You will start out with a Bronze membership and have the chance to upgrade to Silver, Gold, Platinum or Diamond based on how active you are on the website and how complete your profile is.

As your badge levels increase, additional achievement points are awarded, which can be found on your Survey History page. These will show up as 'community achievement'. Bear in mind that you can be downgraded to a lower tier badge if you don’t remain active on the website.

Quarterly Chances to Win $10,000

If you are in the USA and you get disqualified from a survey, participate in a survey, or exchange your valuable points for an entry, you will have a chance to win $10,000 in a quarterly cash draw. That means that $40,000 in total is awarded to 4 lucky members every year! If you are in Canada, there are also sweepstakes available in the form of 4 quarterly draws worth $1,250 each ($5,000 yearly).

Refer Your Friends to Earn More

Opinion Outpost's referral program will award you $1.00 every time you refer a friend using your custom link and they complete at least one survey. Earn up to $5.00 in total. Is Opinion Outpost Legit?

I have only been a member for a month or so and had a lot of issues at first because I joined when they were restructuring the site. I finally tried to go to their site and sign in with Firefox instead of IE and I don't know if coincidence or not, but it has worked for me ever since! Today, I redeemed for $10 in PayPal and it credited INSTANTLY! I was floored! Highly recommend!

Certainly one of my preferred panels. I get a good number of invitations. Also if you log on you will usually be able to do a few more. You get a fair amount of rejections, but that's inevitable. Payment per survey is better than average and the thing that really swings it for me.... I redeemed 550 points yesterday and instantly got £25.50 in my Paypal account instead of waiting the usual, unnecessary 4 to 6 weeks like everybody else.

Now that they redesigned their website, this is the best site I have used. I receive at least three emails a day. Plus you are given the option to complete more surveys when you are done. This is amazing for me as I am rarely picked with other websites.

I am receiving about $20 each week in Amazon certificates for about three to four hours of taking surveys. The certificates are delivered within five minutes of my request.

The only downside is the time listed for the surveys is usually off. 20 minute surveys have turned into 45 minute sessions. Plus you will have to invest up to five minutes even for surveys in which you aren't not selected and to which you will receive no reward.

I was very skeptical when they switched over to the SSI model, but I find it way better than SurveySpot. Instead of SurveySpot giving you 50 cents for a 25 minute survey, Opinion Outpost gives $2.00-$2.50 for similar survey.
I had a customer service issue with Opinion Outpost recently and THEY WERE GREAT!! I received a product to try and after completing the survey it was worth 100 points ($10). I never was able to access the survey because Synovate did not set it up right, I called and e-mailed and after talking to a very helpful customer service rep, I was credited the whole 100 points. In an funny twist I ended up getting the fixed survey through SurveySpot, and it was worth 50 points ($0.50) to review all five products sent!! Before you bash Opinion Outpost, compare them to SurveySpot's measly rewards and also you can get Opinion Outpost on the phone which is big to me!!

I have had a love/hate relationship with this panel. I have gone back and forth with them about spending 20 or more minutes and then being told I don't qualify. Most of the time the responses to emails (if you get one) seem to be of an automated-like nature. You can't get anyone on the phone! Now that they've switched you can't get checks which was what attracted me to them. When I tried to cash out w/Paypal I couldn't. They said they were suspending all rewards temporarily. They've gone from bad to worse!! If you don't mind wasting alot of your time for no reward this would be the panel for you!
