Survey Taking Experience

Take Surveys Often

Paid surveys will be sent to you on a regular basis. You can also visit the website, log in and find a list of available surveys, giving you plenty of chances to make cash. A typical Opinion Outpost survey takes 10-15 minutes to complete and the number of points you can expect to receive per survey ranges between 5 to 50 points.

Qualifying Questions

Before you begin your chosen survey, you may have to answer a series of multiple-choice questions. These may appear to be irrelevant to the topic of the survey itself, but are a way for researchers to ensure they're receiving responses from the people they're looking for answers from. Sometimes, you’ll be disqualified from taking the survey after answering these, however there will usually be other surveys available for you to take.

Modern, Interactive Surveys

Opinion Outpost offers fun, interactive online surveys that are attractive and simple to take. On top of offering sweepstakes entries, periodically, they offer games at the end of surveys which give you the opportunity to win additional points and/or additional sweepstakes entries. One such game is called the Opinion Outpost Door Game.

Opinion Outpost App

Opinion Outpost does not offer a mobile app. Although most of their surveys are mobile-friendly and can be completed on your phone, you will still need to access them via your e-mail, or by logging into the website from your phone.

unfounded cancellation of my account

March 23, 2019 by Suzanne from United States

I was a member in good standing for almost 3 yrs with Opinion Outpost, & had been a member of their affiliate Quick Thoughts for apprx. 5 months when both of my accounts were cancelled. They absolutely refused to discuss it with me & would not under any circumstances give me a reason why. They did send a form letter type of email (when I asked) that gave a robotic statement saying it could have been any one of several reasons they listed. (none of which applied to me) I wanted to know if there had been a miss-communication, mix-up or something that I could clear up. But, they absolutely shut me down. I take surveys from many sites and am conscientious and reliable with all my answers. I am a retiree & actually need this little extra income so this has been a minor hardship for me. Even a criminal gets to know what they are being charged with. Why couldn't I know what perceived (terrible) crime they think I committed? Very strange way to do business. Was I earning too much? Was I discriminated against for age? Makes one wonder.

Best and fastest site to earn online!

March 20, 2019 by Crissy from United States

I was really shocked to see any negative reviews. I had one issue with my account freezing and it was resolved within 48 hours with regular feedback and an apology from the company. If you expect to become a millionaire doing surveys you are a moron. If you are looking for some extra income to supplement your grocery bill and learn to use promocodes what you earn can go a long way. My experience has been 6-8.00 every 2 days. I only use it about 45 minutes a day. Not too shabby!!!

Time Waster

March 20, 2019 by Wendie from United States

I just spent most of the day earning $2.30. I think there are kids in Bangladesh working in sweatshops who make more than that.

The worst part about this site is that they lure you in with 'Take this Survey! 40 points for 45 minutes" but then you click on the button and you find yourself spending even more time answering a whole slew of questions that are just to help OO decide which survey you MIGHT qualify for. And if you don't qualify, then all of your answers that you spent all that time providing are DUMPED into cyber never-never-land, so you will have to answer them again on the next survey, wasting even more time. Holy moly, I thought Swagbucks was bogus, but these people are way worse. At least with Swagbucks, they post a list of surveys and the points for each one and you can pick and choose. With this, you are shooting blind. Or dealing with deception. For instance, I was approved for a survey that said at the beginning it was worth 40 points and would take 45 minutes. Miraculously, I qualified for the survey, which took almost 45 minutes and when I finished, it said 'You earned 5 points". I wasted 45 minutes -- and the lead time, however much that was, to qualify for the survey and I earned a whopping 50 CENTS!!!

For those who know the secret to qualifying for the high-point surveys, my hat is off to you. Apparently, those of us who are currently unemployed and trying to bring in a few extra dollars while job hunting and applying for online college courses are not the right sort of people to answer their questions.

I joined years ago, loved it then. Lately they banned me. I answered the surveys as truthful as possible as I can. Still they banned me!
