Take Surveys Often
Paid surveys will be sent to you on a regular basis. You can also visit the website, log in and find a list of available surveys, giving you plenty of chances to make cash. A typical Opinion Outpost survey takes 10-15 minutes to complete and the number of points you can expect to receive per survey ranges between 5 to 50 points.
Qualifying Questions
Before you begin your chosen survey, you may have to answer a series of multiple-choice questions. These may appear to be irrelevant to the topic of the survey itself, but are a way for researchers to ensure they're receiving responses from the people they're looking for answers from. Sometimes, you’ll be disqualified from taking the survey after answering these, however there will usually be other surveys available for you to take.
Modern, Interactive Surveys
Opinion Outpost offers fun, interactive online surveys that are attractive and simple to take. On top of offering sweepstakes entries, periodically, they offer games at the end of surveys which give you the opportunity to win additional points and/or additional sweepstakes entries. One such game is called the Opinion Outpost Door Game.
Opinion Outpost App
Opinion Outpost does not offer a mobile app. Although most of their surveys are mobile-friendly and can be completed on your phone, you will still need to access them via your e-mail, or by logging into the website from your phone.
Visit Opinion Outpost's website ›Community Features
Badges
Opinion Output offers ‘Badges’, which essentially serve as loyalty bonuses. You will start out with a Bronze membership and have the chance to upgrade to Silver, Gold, Platinum or Diamond based on how active you are on the website and how complete your profile is.
As your badge levels increase, additional achievement points are awarded, which can be found on your Survey History page. These will show up as 'community achievement'. Bear in mind that you can be downgraded to a lower tier badge if you don’t remain active on the website.
Quarterly Chances to Win $10,000

That means that $40,000 in total is awarded to 4 lucky members every year! If you are in Canada, there are also sweepstakes available in the form of 4 quarterly draws worth $1,250 each ($5,000 yearly).

Notification emails for surveys received on a regular basis but most of them are not available. It might give a wrong impression.
Opinion Outpost responded to this review on November 18, 2017
Sorry to hear you're finding it difficult to qualify for surveys, Lorrie. Each of our surveys are customized and based around the research goals for each individual client. We try to send surveys that you will qualify for based off the information we have on record for you; for this reason, we ask you to keep your profile as up to date as possible. We do our best to determine if you qualify or not early in the survey, and it is also normal to spend a few minutes answering qualification questions. If you think you've spent a significant amount of time on a survey, let us know and we'll see what we can do. Thanks!July 9, 2017 by Bo from Canada
July Updates on using Opinion Outpost:
Last month I got locked out my account for the first time since I use Opinion outpost in years. First of all don't need to panic when your account is being locked. Just keep sending emails to them they will actually get back to you. (you don't need to rewrite email, just copy the first one and resend) They asked a few information but nothing about sending any ID. The whole process took one week. They also returned back the points I've earned before this matter. as gratefulness to their response, I just want to re-write how I feel about using this site right now:
pros and cons- has higher payout like 18points for some surveys. sometime you can even catch a few survey with 30points depends on luck. The lowest payout is 6 points, for some short survey it's good to earn; However, they also make you do some of their own brand of surveys for over 30 minutes and only offer the lowest points. I've done one of those a few days back. It was a cosmetic survey issued by Opinion Outpost of its own. They claimed it would spend 5 minutes but the whole process took me over 30 minutes. Every page of question they implemented with really long multiple choices and with each item you have to classify every each of them into different section to identify whether you use it or not, or what you think about it. And it also contains some other questions that were really time-consuming.
This is a problem and unfair when staff knows how long the survey really is, and you only offer 6 points for it. This just contributes to how you really want to treat your member. Even if you put 12 points on it and I would finish it very patiently. Yes, I finished it. It's because on that day I was only qualified to finish two surveys. I think everybody would complete it when they assume probability of receiving.
If you really want to improve your company and this survey community, you need to ask where the real issues appear!
emails- They claim they will only send emails that you have a much higher "chance" to be qualified for completing, but it's the people who actually click on your emails knows what has actually happening. Yes, maybe these emailed surveys are based on personal situation, but -how can a survey gets expired at the very moment right at the time I receive it?
( I occasionally refresh my emails, so new emails appear and I click in it) this just doesn't make any sense. If you explain to me it's because the survey has received enough response. I don't think so at all, because I just receive it in seconds or minutes, and in the next seconds the survey expires at the exact moment I click? I don't think any member would finish a 5 minutes survey in seconds. And who would finish survey at midnight? I sometime click on survey at midnight because I really need to earn that money outta desperation. There is actually a time lag exists among the member receives it, tried it and not being qualified to complete it, or got screened out for expiration. Everyone knows this shall be the usual circulation of survey taking.
This is where it got me suspected
-and I really think it's an issue where we can't use different devices to login and do surveys when there's higher chances of deactivating. Sometimes I can't open my computer and only use smartphone to try survey. Right now I only can refresh opinion outpost to catch new survey whenever I get a chance using computer. I can't stick with computer for whole day, and I can't reclick on "take survey" button in your site constantly. This is truly inconvenient and limits member's chance of receiving surveys and being qualified for completing surveys
I increased rating because Opinion outpost has a chance of listening to member's concerns, and I really want to see some improvement rather than decline.

This was a great site but recently, it has become much harder to qualify for surveys and there does not seem to be as many survey available as there used to be.

I've only been with Opinion Outpost a couple of months, but I just cashed out for my 2nd time. Only $10, but I'd rather have small frequent payouts with lower points than higher points required for minimal payout that takes forever to reach... Plus the surveys are relevant to me, and they continue to work very hard to find ones that match my demographics and profile. Also, customer service responds quickly and actually offers solutions to issues. I thought I had been blocked from my account because I complained too much, when in fact my account was suspended temporarily because all of my email went straight to my junk folder. It was an easy fix and was fixed immediately. My only complaint is that their website is outdated...some of the info hasn't been updated in years....

Angelia, thank you for your support and feedback. We appreciate the review so that others can benefit from your experience.July 7, 2017 by Mary from United States
I had been a member for a number of years and had even cashed out. Not too long ago I realized I hadn't received any survey invites from them, so I decided to log in. Well I couldn't and I received a pop-up message that I had been terminated. I wrote them and asked why. They said I had multiple accounts with them which is, of course, against their policy. Well I've been a survey panelist for many, many years; and I very well know you're not supposed to have multiple accounts. I don't know where they got this idea, so I wrote them back, denied their accusation, and demanded proof of their claim. They didn't reply. After attempting to elicit a response three times from them with no reply, and their making off with my account balance, I decided to post my negative review of this survey panel.
