Survey Taking Experience

Earn Points for Surveys

Every time you participate in a PointClub survey, you will earn points redeemable for gift cards or cash. You can earn anywhere from 200 to 5,000 points per survey completion. Surveys typically take between 5 - 30 minutes to complete. Your points will be awarded once a survey fully closes, so you may have to wait up to 4 weeks before your points are available in your account.

At any time, you can view your current approved points, point status, and points needed for redemption by viewing your PointBank on the sidebar of your account dashboard.

Points Value: 1000 PointClub Points = $1.00. Therefore, each point is worth $0.0001.

Tons of Survey Opportunities Available

At any time, you may log into your account to view a list of online surveys available for completion. You will also be notified by email when you may qualify for a new survey, but it's a good idea to log into your account regularly to check for opportunities.

Get Points for Screen Outs

If you get screened-out, or disqualified from a survey, PointClub will still credit your account with 12 points after 5 unsuccessful attempts. This counteracts the frustration of spending time on the start of a survey only to be dismissed with no compensation.

Easy Redemptions

Once you have reached the minimum of 25,000 points needed to redeem, a button will appear in the sidebar of your dashboard. A weekly distribution model for rewards is followed so that redemptions requested throughout a week are collated and sent ahead for further disbursal to Club members in the immediate/following week. That means that you should never have to wait more than 7-10 business days to receive a gift card to PayPal reward.

I have told them their email doesn't work but here a year later and nothing.

Your message wasn't delivered to [email protected] because the address couldn't be found, or is unable to receive mail.
They just sent me an email with a broken link and when I used the response email listed on their site, it said that mailbox isn't monitored, use this one. They also don't have a "contact" button even though they say they do.

However, a scope of exception is always there and we'd to go through unexpected delays caused by factors beyond the reach of PointClub.

Our teams have worked hard to streamline both to overcome the delay recorded and we did succeed to a greater extent. Rewards up till December 21, 2020 were moved out recently.

Loyalty Compensation

I reviewed the comments on this site and was not surprised to see several that represent my concerns with PointClub.

1) The canned and repetitious responses from PointClub to many of the questions do not address the concerns voiced by individuals.
2) The new Bonus Rewards makes very little difference in the total points awarded. Once upon a time the Bonus Rewards equaled the survey points based upon the number of consecutive days up to 100%.
3) There is no real incentive to keep taking surveys since the percentage has been cut so dramatically. In the past I have suggested that, in addition to the meager 10% now offered as the top percentage for consecutive days participation, an additional one time reward be given based upon levels of consecutive days AND survey participation...example for fairness to the PointClub and Survey Taker would be at least FIVE surveys attempted each day. Possibly after 365 consecutive days, an additional one time reward of 10,000 points be given; after 730 consecutive days a one reward of 25,000 points be given; etc.
4) I am also frustrated with surveys that gather a huge amount of information (example: Survey completion 90%) and then ask a question that is too personal to answer; I am dropped from the survey. I am extremely disappointed by surveys that require Name, Email address 'to verify' who I am. This information is asked after the survey has almost been completed.
5) I understand that taking surveys is not a method of making a great deal of money. However, the decrease in bonus rewards and the amount of time to take surveys has become an issue. The PointClub image shows 10 minutes yet once into the Survey Page, the survey will take 20 or 25 minutes according to the information provided on the real survey page.

Yes, you can make a few dollars by taking surveys and you will eventually be paid. However, the format change instituted by PointClub several months ago has taken away from the fun of taking surveys on PointClub. It now takes twice as long to accrue points and the pay period seems to also take twice as long to receive the payment.
I hope it is simply 'Growing Pains' for PointClub but the frustration may reach a level that causes many to drop out. This will result in EVERYONE losing.
Ideally, the PointClub will return to the previous format but that is something that the survey taker has no control over.

Our goal is to provide the most accurate data to our survey sponsors. Hence, any deviations to the set/required parameters may lead to Disqualification or points being Invalidated.

With due respect, we at no point of time have the intention of taking away points from our members, till the time any severity is/are recorded in the answers supplied and that may further lead to rejection from survey(s).

Instant credit(s) against survey(s) completed, is for sure the most preferred mode for anyone. But it had to be replaced with Points Approval System, as the most accurate data must be supplied further to survey sponsors.

Also, we completely understand that an extended wait time for survey clearance or reward requested may lead to an increased level of frustration. It is very unfortunate that everything fell into such a sequence and may have caused inconvenience to you. However, a scope of exception is always there and we'd to go through unexpected delays caused from sources beyond the reach of PointClub.

We've been working towards streamlining both to overcome the interruption caused. Points pending and the Reward requested (if any) will be delivered shortly for sure.

PointClub customer satisfaction is deteriorating

I have utilized the PointClub survey program for about 3 years. In the beginning, they were great, and it was an enjoyable offering that I could participate in with my morning coffee. Slowly over the 3 years the whole process started to deteriorate.
First the stated time for survey completion started to become consistently understated e.g. 500 points for a 15-minute survey that actually took 35 minutes.
Point awards for surveys were changed to “issued when approved” initially stating that it could take up to 30 days but now up to 6 weeks in the user guide. In reality it takes 6 weeks at minimum but usually more like 8 weeks during which time, I would send notes to their support team.
After you have a cycle of, I believe 100 consecutive days of participation you used to receive 100% bonus of awarded points. That was changed without notice to a 10% bonus. Numerous requests to the support team only resulting in poorly written responses with numerous incoherent sentences. Finally, a note came saying it was only a temporary change which proved to be a false statement.
Awards for “approved” points according to the program guide should be issued within 5 to 10 days. My most recent took 28 days and was issued after 3 requests for issuance. If the points are approved, why can’t the gift card be issued in a day or 2.
At this point, I am packing it in, it is not enjoyable or worth my time to spend an hour of my time to complete 2 to 3 surveys netting me about $3 to $4 max and then have to wait 2 months or more for an award to be finally issued.
