Survey Taking Experience

Earn Points for Surveys

Every time you participate in a PointClub survey, you will earn points redeemable for gift cards or cash. You can earn anywhere from 200 to 5,000 points per survey completion. Surveys typically take between 5 - 30 minutes to complete. Your points will be awarded once a survey fully closes, so you may have to wait up to 4 weeks before your points are available in your account.

At any time, you can view your current approved points, point status, and points needed for redemption by viewing your PointBank on the sidebar of your account dashboard.

Points Value: 1000 PointClub Points = $1.00. Therefore, each point is worth $0.0001.

Tons of Survey Opportunities Available

At any time, you may log into your account to view a list of online surveys available for completion. You will also be notified by email when you may qualify for a new survey, but it's a good idea to log into your account regularly to check for opportunities.

Get Points for Screen Outs

If you get screened-out, or disqualified from a survey, PointClub will still credit your account with 12 points after 5 unsuccessful attempts. This counteracts the frustration of spending time on the start of a survey only to be dismissed with no compensation.

Easy Redemptions

Once you have reached the minimum of 25,000 points needed to redeem, a button will appear in the sidebar of your dashboard. A weekly distribution model for rewards is followed so that redemptions requested throughout a week are collated and sent ahead for further disbursal to Club members in the immediate/following week. That means that you should never have to wait more than 7-10 business days to receive a gift card to PayPal reward.

Slowest payout and it takes forever to find a way to get to customer service. Funny thing is it isn't hard to find the surveys.
If the payout was easy I would still enjoy these surveys.

Fix that payout issue and I will gladly return.

Dear Robert,

Sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.

We completely understand that an extended wait time for survey clearance/reward requested may lead to an increased level of frustration. Also, it is very unfortunate that everything fell into such a sequence and all the hassle it may have led to.

However, a scope of exception is always there and we'd to go through unexpected delays recently. Your patience and cooperation are highly appreciated.

Our teams have been working hard to streamline them both and overcome all the delay recorded. Points pending and the Reward(s) requested (if any), will be delivered shortly for sure.

In case you’ve got anything for us, we have our Customer Service team waiting. Feel free to route an email to [email protected] with the subject line 'URGENT ATTN’ and will give our best to get all your future concerns sorted at the earliest.

It had promise..

August 19, 2020 by Katherine from United Kingdom

I joined PointClub perhaps a bit late. It always had good promise, it has a lovely design, in depth features and has a lovely vision with its super hero theme and great graphics to go with it. I was excited to get into it, it made me want to do more there.

Though that's where it ends. It took me 8 months to reach the minimum payout of 25.5k points (even with the free 5k start bonus). Sure I wasn't the most active user, but other websites I reached equivalent faster.

When I started there were always recommend surveys for me, sometimes 20+ at any given time. And extra surveys were at times likely to be 100+, always there. Now, sadly I started to reach towards my redemption goal, and everything just disappeared. I slowly scraped the rest and I was just short of a few hundred, in 5 weeks, I only found 6 surveys, of which 5 declined me. I eventually got over the line.

I would have done so sooner, if three surveys from 4 months ago had been accepted. I understand the need of waiting to qualify points or not - perfectly fine - but 4 months? I contacted their support - really helpful people and cannot fault them at all, but it's been a month since then and all I've had is one of the three surveys decline me for unknown reasons, and the other two are still pending.

I've asked to redeem my points and haven't seen my money yet, and looking at other reviews it seems I likely wont for weeks to come.

A small extra gripe is the daily bonus, it takes 100 days to reach the max, and if you miss one day, you slide down to the level below you, sometimes 15+ days worth of progress lost. The problem I have with this most is that it's not clear when a new day begins. For in my timezone I once visited the website early, around 6-7am, before I was traveling for the day with no data or internet. The next day I checked the website and I had lost over two weeks of progress because my login wasn't a "new day". I don't know when a new day starts and it's a little bitter that I lost such progress when to me, it had been a perfectly valid new day.

Truthfully I wanted this website to do well, I enjoy it and its whole design, I wanted to like it, I really did, but in the end it's just been a lot of time and energy for not much in return.

I am about done with this panel

July 29, 2020 by Dawn from United States

UPDATE 7/28/20 - This panel takes much too long to approve points. It’s difficult enough to get a successful survey, then the points pend for MONTHS. This is completely unacceptable. The threshold to cash out is $25.00. Once you cash out, it will be another 3-4 weeks before your money gets in PayPal. I have to prod them to get my money, and I have to prod them to approve pending points. I recently sent them another request to get going on approving the over 19,000 points I have pending. I am within $6.00 of cashing out, and I’ve been stalled for weeks now. They send canned responses. I want to cash out, and them I’m dumping them. I’m done. AVOID.

UPDATE: I have downgraded my review of Point Club. Unfortunately, they have pulled a fast one on their customers. There’s a streak thing where if you login every day, after awhile, you reach different levels where you get extra on top of the points for a survey. For example, for 1,000 point survey, you would get an extra 10% point bonus on top, so it would be for 1,100 points. The more days you login on in a row, the more bonus streak points you get, up to 100%. So for a 1,000 point survey at the top level (champion), it is worth 2,000 points. I’ve reached the champion level. A couple of days ago, they changed it from increments of 10 starting at 10% going up to 100% to increments of 1 going from 1%-10%! I was absolutely floored to see them screw over their panelists like this. So I am pondering whether to stay with them or dump them. I am very disappointed in them. So very shortsighted on their part. They do not care about their panelists.

I was surprised. I had read some bad reviews and was reluctant to join this panel. But I went ahead and joined, with quite a bit of skepticism, and was pleasantly surprised. Within five weeks of joining, I was able to cash out $25 via PayPal. The key is to make sure to login every single day at least once. Even if you don’t complete any surveys, that keeps your streak going. The longer the streak, the more potential points you can get. I started this in late October. It is now early December and I’m already at 60%, meaning I get the regular points plus an extra 60%. So if a survey is 1000 points, I can potentially get 1600 points if I successfully complete the survey. 1000 points equals $1. I’m already almost half way to cashing out for another $25. It’s a matter of being persistent and keeping at it. Take your time doing the surveys. Some of them can be lengthy, but it is worth it. I’m looking forward to keeping at this. This may become one of my main survey panels.

Dear Dawn,

Instant credits against survey(s) completed is for sure the most preferred way for anyone. It had to be replaced with Points Approval System to supply the most accurate data further to our Sponsors and was done get a better conversion rate in exchange for our club members.

We completely understand that an extended wait time for survey clearance/reward requested may lead to an increased level of frustration. Also, it is very unfortunate that everything fell into such a sequence and the hassle it may have led to.

However, a scope of exception is always there and we'd to go through unexpected delays recently. We do apologize for the inconvenience caused and your cooperation in the situation is much appreciated.

NOT WORTH THE TIME

June 15, 2020 by Lisa from United States

When points are earned you sometimes have to wait weeks for them to go from pending to approved. So once you reach the 25,500 point level you have to wait until all pending points are approved. They make you get to 25,500 points to get $25. They "charge" you 500 points to get your reward. I've been waiting on my reward for almost 3 weeks now. I've emailed them twice and get the same answer that they will get it to me ASAP. The only good thing about them is they give you 12 points each time you don't qualify for a survey, up to 5 times per day. Once I get my $25 PayPal (if I ever do) I'm going to unsubscribe from them. Not worth the time you have to put in or the wait for the reward.

Dear Lisa,

An instant credit against survey(s) completed, is for sure the most preferred mode for anyone. But it had to be replaced with Points Approval System due to technical reasons.

We completely understand that an extended wait time for survey clearance or reward requested may lead to an increased level of frustration. It is very unfortunate that everything fell into such a sequence and may have caused inconvenience to you. Especially, when the first cash out is awaited!

However, a scope of exception is always there and we'd to go through unexpected delays this time, caused from sources beyond the reach of PointClub.

We've been working towards streamlining both to overcome the delay caused. Reward requested will be delivered shortly for sure and the next time you come across any doubts/concerns, reach out to our customer support team with the subject line 'URGENT ATTN'. claimed earned points were given by error

June 2, 2020 by Steve from United States

I have been a member of this panel since 2016 which has been through a lot of changes. At one point redemption threshold was below 25,000 pts and points use to be credited instantly without going into pending. In their recent change points are now reduced and I was accused of getting overpaid and that points are credited to my account my error which is not true.

I put in the work, waited for over 2 months for points to be approved and upon doing so I made a $25 PayPal cashout. A few days later my account balance became -23,586 pts. I contacted help-desk on Facebook and was told it is probably a system error and they will get it corrected asap and I should be assured that my hard-earned points are very much safe. Four days later I contacted them as the issue wasn't resolved. (balance still showing -23,586 pts).

Now upon replying I was told that incorrect credits were found to be added in an error and that the cashout I did use those extra points. How could that be possible? when I have to wait over 2 months for points to be approved to make a redemption then saying those points were added to my account by error?
I have logged in almost every day for the past 4 years just to keep my streak going and never seen any points added to my account by error. They also state that the points that I earned in the complete tenure with PointClub are lesser than the amount of cash outs done. I was also told that the cashout I did (what I have earned) is to be canceled and once that is done, points will then be sent back to the main balance and my account will come out of the negative balance. ( So their aim here is to take away my $25 cash out). And even thou they state that my cashout will be canceled and points will be sent back to my account, they know that's not true as it has been 23 days, and my cash out still marked as pending and account balance still -23,586 pts. So overall as it is right now it is saying my account was credit by error of over 50,000 pts ($50). I have been doing surveys for several years for different Panels and have never seen anything like this.

.............................
Update.

So upon making this review I was told to send [email protected] an email followed by a reference to this post so they would investigate my concern(s) which I did.
Upon replying the Customer Service Manager states that no change in the results at the end and cannot be biased by letting me get overpaid.

It's funny how you have to earn your points, go through a process (validate) before it is credited and they calling it overpaid.

As a member of this panel for over four years, I have seen what they had done to their members with their so-called Audit which occurs between November- December of 2017. They terminate lots of accounts because they don't want to pay. I was also a victim and have to go back and forth with them proving what I was accused of was not true before my account was reinstated. Because of this, their ratings went way down hence in June of 2018 PointClub asked their members to review them on SurveyPolice in exchange for an account credit.

For those who are reading this yes you might get paid after waiting for up to 3 months for points to be approved and getting paid, but sooner or later they will find some excuse to either hold on to your funds or block your account.

PointClub responded to this review on June 2, 2020

Dear Steve,

Every tenured member of PointClub is surely aware that accounts are flagged 'Only' in case when a severity is observed. Rest assured, we've always gone a step ahead and delivered constant support to our members. This could range from arranging credits and may go up to recovering accounts from as stated flags.

If there has been an instance wherein a delay was recorded in routine processing, then there are times when results were delivered beforehand as well. Hence, it is our best effort to make things possible for our Clubbers at the earliest. Any inconvenience caused or may have kept you waiting long for results is deeply regretted.

Routine audits/health checks are done to maintain the upkeep of member accounts. With a similar activity conducted recently, slightest differences observed in points total was corrected, just like it was done for your account. The best way to derive correct results we could think of was to estimate all the earnings made until the date and it worked well!

With due respect, if you may wish to suggest an alternate way(s) for arriving at numbers that you think could be the right ones. This opportunity has always been there and is eagerly waiting to welcome fresh ideas.

You may contact us anytime as per your ease, if in case you want us to supply all supportive report(s) that was/were fetched and considered for further rectifications done in your account balance.

Happy to help!
