Payment and Rewards
Join and Get up to 5,000 Free Points (Worth $5)
Become a free member of PointClub and jump start your membership by receiving 500 free points credited to your account. Receive points for joining, points for confirming your email, and extra points for completing the short profiling questionnaire, for a total of 5,000 points, or $5.00. This is a particularly generous sign up bonus compared to those offered by most of PointClub’s competitors.
Receive Cash or Gift Cards for Your Participation
By completing surveys and participating in other research opportunities, you will earn points which can be redeemed for PayPal payments or digital gift cards (though your first reward will automatically come in the form of a payment check). You may request a reward with 25,000 points, worth $25, in your account. This is PointClub's minimum cashout. Alternatively, you may request your rewards at the 50,000 ($50), or 100,000 ($100) threshold levels.
- Payment check: The first time you cash out your rewards, you will receive a check in the mail. This is done to verify your address and is the first and only time PointClub will issue a payment check to your address (sent by US mail).
- Earn gift cards: PointClub has over 200 gift card options available that you can exchange your points for. These include Amazon, Tango, Walmart, Home Depot, Target, Macy's, Lowe's, Sephora, Google Play, and many, many more. Visa prepaid cards are also a prize option. You may request a gift card with as little as 25,000 points ($25) in your account. Gift cards are only available as e-gift cards.
- Get paid by PayPal: If you prefer cash, you can opt to receive a $50 cash payment made to your PayPal account. This will require 50,000 points and a 2% withdrawal fee will apply.
PointClub Advantage All e-gift card deliveries and PayPal payments should take no longer than 7-10 business days to process.
Survey Taking Experience
Earn Points for Surveys
Every time you participate in a PointClub survey, you will earn points redeemable for gift cards or cash. You can earn anywhere from 200 to 5,000 points per survey completion. Surveys typically take between 5 - 30 minutes to complete. Your points will be awarded once a survey fully closes, so you may have to wait up to 4 weeks before your points are available in your account.
At any time, you can view your current approved points, point status, and points needed for redemption by viewing your PointBank on the sidebar of your account dashboard.
Tons of Survey Opportunities Available
At any time, you may log into your account to view a list of online surveys available for completion. You will also be notified by email when you may qualify for a new survey, but it's a good idea to log into your account regularly to check for opportunities.
Get Points for Screen Outs
If you get screened-out, or disqualified from a survey, PointClub will still credit your account with 12 points after 5 unsuccessful attempts. This counteracts the frustration of spending time on the start of a survey only to be dismissed with no compensation.
Easy Redemptions
Once you have reached the minimum of 25,000 points needed to redeem, a button will appear in the sidebar of your dashboard. A weekly distribution model for rewards is followed so that redemptions requested throughout a week are collated and sent ahead for further disbursal to Club members in the immediate/following week. That means that you should never have to wait more than 7-10 business days to receive a gift card to PayPal reward.

I've been a PointClub member for a year, and it really had become one of my absolute favorites, taking about 3 months to reach my $59 paypal goal.
But with the beginning of December when I was about 20000 points away from the $50, I, too, stopped getting survey offers. And when they finally responded to my question as to why, I, too, got the answer about the audit and how too many of my surveys were considered "failed", so my account was turned off.
Okay, fine. But I emailed them asking if I could at least redeem my points for the $25 paypal reward?
It took a week to get a response. That didn't bother me because I expect the last two weeks of December to be a time when doing any kind of business just really isn't going to happen due to the holidays.
But I was grateful for the response they gave me, saying that while my account had been turned off because of too many "fails" found during that audit, they would turn my account back on so I could earn enough to redeem my points. They said they could only do that once, and that I really needed to be extra careful to avoid those 'fails".
Alright. I clicked on the button to redeem $25 which it immediately said was "pending". Again, not a problem, that's the way it has always been, and the survey offers reappeared!
So I clicked on one this morning, started the survey and it was going really well and I was being extremely careful; answered a question honestly, but the survey kicked me out. Again, I'm used to that kind of thing happening. So I went to check how it was recorded on my activity page . . .
"Failed"!
Really?! Answering a question honestly is a "fail"?! I expected a "disqualified", but a "failed"?!
So again, I emailed them, explaining the situation. I'm sure because I violated my probation with them it will take a while to get any kind of response and my account will be turned off again . . .
I came over here and started reading all the reviews and found it really sad. As I said, I really liked PointClub, but it has really gone way down. Maybe I'll get $25, maybe I won't, who knows? But I won't be attempting any more surveys from them.

I joined this panel in October of 2017 and had enough points to redeem a $25 ecard by the end of November. I had technical issues trying to redeem my points, sent an email on 12/2, received a response via email from PointClub on 12/6 and received a $25 Walmart ecard on 12/18. 4 stars for the length of time to receive my rewards, but very happy with customer service and the PointClub panel thus far.
December 27, 2017 by Elena from United States
I have been with PointClub for more than a year, and up until now, have been quite happy with it, but in November of this year (2017), things started to rapidly decline. I requested to redeem my points for a $50 PayPal cashout, and it took three weeks to get the money, despite the fact that PC says on their own website that cashouts should only take a maximum of ten days. Contacting their support yielded only the vague, unhelpful response of "we're backlogged due to Thanksgiving." I also had to call them out publicly on their Facebook page before they even bothered to get back to me. They don't care about private messages to their support staff; definitely try that route first, but don't expect them to pay attention until you air their dirty laundry on social media.
During much of this time, their games section was down and surveys were few and far between; all of this blamed on either "growing pains" or "you only get surveys that match your profile." The former sounds too vague to be believable and the latter is utter nonsense; if I only get surveys that "match my profile," then why do I get disqualified from 80-90% of the surveys I attempt? Also, when you go from seeing anywhere from 3 to 10 new surveys every day for nearly a year to ZERO a day for a month, something is definitely wrong, and it's not that surveys are too picky.
The last straw came this past week. On 12-21-17, I completed a survey for ~2000 points. Upon COMPLETION of the survey (I didn't just qualify, I got all the way through it), I was kicked out and told that the survey was "over quota." This had never happened before; you always get kicked out at the BEGINNING of the survey if you don't qualify or if it's over quota, not at the very end. That's what the pre-screening questions are for.
The very next day, I qualified for and completed (again, I didn't just qualify for the survey, I actually did the entire thing) another survey worth 5,000 points and was kicked out at the very end, this time informed that I had "failed." I was not compensated for either survey and my time was utterly wasted.
I contacted PointClub support about both of these surveys and they did not respond, so I was forced once again to call them out on social media. This finally sparked the following email response from them:
Dear Elena,
Thanks for your email.
We have manually added 700 reward points to your PointClub account for the survey xxx.
The points manually awarded took into consideration the time that was spent on this survey.
However full points can only be given to surveys that are shown as meeting all qualifications.
Thanks for your patience!
Please feel free to reach out to us, if you have any questions/concerns.
Best Regards,
Customer Service Manager
Team PointClub
They gave me 700 points for one of the surveys and 500 points for the other one, then had the audacity to suggest I had neither spent enough time on the surveys nor properly qualified for them. I answered carefully, thoughtfully, and honestly. They essentially got my information and feedback for free. Giving me 1200 points when they owe me 7000 is incredibly condescending and demonstrates an appalling lack of consideration for participants who work hard and answer honestly, only to be slapped in the face as a reward.
This recent behavior on their part, from the poor explanations, the slow response time, the underpayment or lack of payment, and the general decline in integrity has led me to conclude that either there was a major staff change at the organization or PointClub is in serious financial trouble. Either way, I will treat any surveys I supposedly "qualify" for from here on out with extreme caution and suspicion and may leave the site altogether if things don't improve. I highly recommend that everyone else do the same. Do NOT join this site; you cannot trust them. They demand integrity from their users, but do not grant them the same courtesy.
