Types of Assignments

Although QuickThoughts primarily offers mobile surveys, sometimes other opportunities are offered, such as shopping assignments where you could be asked to take pictures of products on store shelves. Other shopping assignments such as taking in-store polls near you, or providing feedback on your shopping experience at a local store, are also available.

Survey Lengths and Compensation

Dishonest/Bans for no reason

Hello,

I have been a user for Quick Thoughts app for awhile. However, recently my phone was damaged. When I went to add the app back to my phone, I couldn't log in and stated there was an issue with my account. I emailed them several times and got this response:

Hello Tamara,

Thank you for your email.

Unfortunately, the accuracy and attentiveness of your account activity has been flagged, and upon review of your account, we have been forced to suspend your account.
As a member of our program you may only have one account, provide accurate profile information and survey responses. You must also be thoughtful and attentive in responding to our surveys. When we have concerns about any of these program rules we are obligated to take steps to investigate and unfortunately suspend accounts.
We do not take account suspension lightly and do so only when account issues have been identified. At this time your account has been indefinitely suspended and you will no longer be able to participate in surveys or claim rewards from our website.

Thank you for your understanding.

I am baffled as to how they can say this as I do not have another account, have not engaged in activity that would cause this as you cannot communicate with anyone on the app, my profile strictly has all my real personal information (info that they asked), and I have never switched up my surveys to say anything different than my house size changing due to my oldest son heading off to college. Coming onto this site I see a lot of people have the same the same responses for suspension on their account.

Their response on here is always the same:

Seriously just steer clear. This site will take any money you have if you don't cash out right away and use ridiculous and repetitive statements to justify why they wont pay you the money owed. Should be reported to the BBB.

Banned without logical explanation.

I’ve done surveys on this platform for several years. Many failed surveys and completed surveys with no compensation. Impossible to get assistance. Unfair payout system I myself received only one dollar surveys but others that use the same service get two dollar payouts always. If you continue with this platform make sure you cash out as soon as you hit $10, many folks lost earned rewards. I was banned recently and I don’t know why, I always answered honestly and have only one account, received the canned response below:

I see a lot of negative reviews about being banned, but when the same thing happened to me the day after I made my account I just emailed them and waited a few days, and then my account was opened again. I've been using it for a few months now. I guess they are either trying to save money or have a faulty security bot, but I can confirm they responded to me and checked my account. The payout is REALLY high (mostly $2 per 5-30 minute survey compared to other sites which give you like 60 cents if you're lucky). I really do feel like it's too good to be true sometimes but I've cashed out and made plenty of purchases. The surveys crash sometimes but not so much that it makes me want to quit using. Also you can't cash out until you've been a user for over three days so only use this if you're planning to use it long-term, not for an emergency.

Quickthoughts is hit or miss, mostly miss.

I was using them for months until I filled my W-9 out, but after trying to cash out some money I saved up they gave me the same excuse they give everyone else and locked my account, stealing nearly $300 dollars from me. ($270)

They are very obviously trying to save money by banning users so they can't cash out, under the guise of banning for "bad info or multiple accounts", as I have neither, the only thing I can think of is the fact that my IP address changes often, and my location as well since I did the surveys away from home while working.

In addition their customer service isn't helpful, they post automated responses and refuse to answer why they ban and take your earnings, I wouldn't complain if they actually helped, but they won't even say what you did wrong.

Avoid unless you're a masochist who enjoys being robbed.

I’ve had the same problems as everyone else. They don’t let you cash out. I’ve contacted their customer service 3 times, and they never reply.
