With Smart Panel App, you can help your favorite web sites, apps, tech companies, and mobile carriers give you better services and more features. With Smart App, you’ll need to apply to become a member. To apply you’ll answer a short survey about your personal details and your tech habits, including how often you use your smartphone.

If accepted, you’ll download the Smart App on your smartphone and keep it there. The app will usually give you surveys to answer. You’ll earn points by answering these questions about your technology habits.

The app will track your smartphone usage and share your habits from using this smartphone device. It reportedly uses around 3MB of data per month and causes an extra 1-5% reduction of battery life. You may have to download a VPN onto your device too.

After you have kept the app on your phone for 30 days, you can convert the points earned into rewards for the first time.

I am in the UK and this company (which is US based) now operate here. I have had the app on my phone for nearly two months and haven't been paid a single penny. The app shows active and I send my data every single day. In my settings the app has been trusted and verified and shows it is working. When I emailed them (many times) they either ignore or I get a ridiculous reply. I will say the app is installed on my iPhone and they come back with 'regarding the app installed on your PC'. They do not read the emails I send. Their last email said no data was being received from my HP PC - absolutely annoying and ridiculous. Needless to say I have not been paid a penny for this app being on my phone. So basically they are spying on me and using my data illegally. DO NOT INSTALL.

I joined this site last year so far so good, I like their prompt payment system to my PayPal and the option to choose amazon gift card which came in handy when I went to purchase the amazon fire stick on prime day. It doesn't ask much of me and doesn't interfere with my daily routine.

Nowhere in my invite was a VPN network (proxy) mentioned....internet constantly disconnecting due to their servers being unresponsive. Their website is mainly password protected even for basic pages like http://smartpanel-uk.com/faq/about-smart-app/ ...or perhaps this is because I am not on their proxy! I blamed my ISP for my issues until i noticed google chrome saying "waiting for proxy tunnel" in bottom left corner! this should be considered as malware, they don't make it clear what they are doing to your system(and who knows what else they have done......)

Slows my phone down significantly. Also I'm not sure where this $5 for signing up has gone. Deleted this app.
