Survey Details

The time it takes to complete an online survey will vary, however most surveys offered by SurveySpot take between 10-15 minutes to complete. Most surveys are rewarded within the range of 50 to 100 points, depending on their length and complexity.

They finally credited me all my points but it took several months. Now I have a problem with both SurveySpot and Opinion Outpost. They have frozen both accounts due to data concerns. So I have emailed them waiting for a response. I had quite a few accumulate points on SS and a lesser amount on OO. This just really gripes me, it takes forever to accumulate these points. and then they pull this.

In early December 2012 I noticed a loss of points. Twice over a period of 3 days. The first time I contacted customer service and then again on the second time. These points ammounted to $100. Which considering the length of time it took to accrue them took a long time. SS contacted me back and said that evidently my account had been hacked. They were going to turn it over to their fraud team and would contact me in a couple of weeks and reinstate my points. I have recontacted them to find out when this will happen since it has now been one month. I'm still waiting.

They are certainly making an effort. The surveys that used to pay 50 cents now pay more like a dollar. They say they are listening to their panelists, and in my opinion, they certainly are.

Survey Spot was a great survey site at one time. Their recent reward point structure is a joke. Who would really spend 20 minutes of their time for a 20 point reward that is worth 20 cents??? The only good thing about the site is they pay their rewards quickly via PayPal without the BS 'surcharge' so many other survey sites have gone to.

Entered dozens of surveys, only to be disqualified in each after answering 15-20 questions. Was able to complete 20 or so surveys over a period of 5 days. Survey payments average 20 cents per minute of time devoted to survey.
