Toluna Influencers is a paid surveys site that offers users the opportunity to answer online surveys in exchange for rewards including cash and gift cards. It has grown to become one of the most established and popular online survey websites around.

How Toluna Influencers Works
Create an account for 500 free points
With Toluna Influencers, creating an account takes only minutes. To create an account, answer a nine-question survey about yourself; your name, date of birth, gender, country of residence, zip code, desired password and mobile number (this is optional). Confirm your account by clicking the e-mail link and receive an instant 500 point credit to your account.
Take interesting surveys to earn rewards
Toluna offers their members surveys every day that are on a wide array of subjects including large consumer brands, your habits, and the environment you live in. Your opinions will directly impact companies and how they market, distribute or advertise new products and services to consumers like you.
Fill out the profilers for more points
When you first log into your account, you will be asked to complete the profile surveys (though this is optional). These short surveys are designed to help better match you to surveys so that you're primarily sent surveys you will qualify for. For every completed profile survey you complete, you will be awarded 100 points. You can update your profile surveys every 6 months to earn more points.
Payment and Rewards
How to Redeem Points
Upon joining and completing surveys and participating in games and other point-awarding activities, you will be credited with points. Once you have earned a minimum of 30,000 points ($10.00 worth), you can redeem your points for a selection of prizes.
Rewards Options
Toluna Influencers offers an extensive rewards catalog. When you're ready to request a cash out from your Toluna Influencers account, click the Rewards button and choose from a wide variety of options:
- PayPal payments - with 65,000 points in your account, you can request a $20.00 PayPal cash payment.
- e-Gift cards - choose from a wide variety of digital gift cards, including Amazon, Boston Pizza, Apple, Starbucks, and many more. Gift cards can be redeemed with as few as 30,000 points ($10.00).
- bitcoin - receive $30 USD in Bitcoin in exchange for 114,000 points, awarded via mybitcards.
Note that rewards options will vary based on your country of residence.
Rewards Processing Times
Upon requesting a reward, it can take up to 3 weeks for it to be delivered. All rewards are digital in nature (PayPal or bitcoin cash and e-gift cards), so ensure you monitor your inbox closely after requesting a reward to ensure you don't miss it!

Start taking surveys
The Surveys tab in your account will display a list of online surveys ready for you to fill out. You can choose to view surveys by Priority Surveys (which are recommended for you), Quick Surveys (short surveys), or by Premium Surveys (surveys that award more points than usual).
Every survey will display the estimated length of time it will take to complete, the topic of the survey, as well as how many points you will receive for completing it. Some surveys may offer a unique experience such as being a video survey or a diary style survey.
Points Earned Per Survey
The number of points you will earn per survey completion will vary and is based on things like the length and complexity of the survey. However, successful online survey completions typically award anywhere from 15 - 50,000 points each, and special surveys could offer even more.
Points Expiry
When points are credited to your account, they remain valid for 16 months. If after this period your points have not been used, they will automatically expire and be deleted from your account. Your points will not expire all at once; instead, points will expire 16 months after you originally earned them, so be sure to regularly redeem your points for rewards.

Additional ways to earn points
Besides participating in online surveys and referring friends, you can earn points by participating in the following activities:
- Quick Votes - participate in the quick daily poll to earn an easy 15 points and see how fellow community members have voted! Also called My Sponsored Polls.
- Games - play fun games such as answering trivia questions to earn bonus points.
- Spin the Daily Wheel - every day, you can spin the daily wheel to win up to 1000 free points. There are 8 different spots on the wheel which you can land on: Better luck next time, 40 points, 80 points, 100 points, 200 points, 300 points, 500 points, and 1000 points. This is a great way to easily earn free points.
Refer-a-friend program
Under the 'Refer-a-Friend' tab located in the Account section of your dashboard, you will find your unique referral link which you can share with friends and extended family to invite them to the Toluna community. Receive 500 points credited to your account for every friend you refer, up to a maximum of 10 referrals per month.

Took me about one week to get to 10 $dollars. They don let me cashout my money. Sent them two emails, and they told I have to wait six weeks because of incentive surveys. I have 48000 points and I would have to wait 6 weeks to get it. Ridiculous. It has been a month and surveys are still not cleared. I have not completed any more surveys since. Soon as they pay me I am closing the account. Slavery work is over more than a hundred years ago. Shame on you! You deserve no stars. Do not join!

I was a member with us.toluna.com for several years. I'm a member with several survey websites and Toluna was one of my top survey websites. A couple months ago, I had trouble accessing the surveys so I contacted customer service and was told it was because I had been using a VPN. I've never used a VPN on toluna or any other website for that matter. I was informed that I would need to use a mobile device or else I wouldn't be able to complete any surveys. I wasn't satisfied with the response because my issue was never resolved. However, I used a mobile device so I could continue taking surveys and went from completing several surveys a month to hardly any in the past two months. Then one day I couldn't access my account. It said one or more of my login details were incorrect. I emailed customer service again and was told it was because my account had been suspended. I received the same generic response that so many others have received. Saying I had violated their TOS and my rewards would be forfeited. The email made it sound like they were still accusing me of using a VPN which I'm not and I'm using a mobile device yet they're saying that's not in line with their policies. I'm doing exactly what they told me to do. It makes no sense to me. I should also mention that I had a pending cashout about a day before my suspension that's now gone. Why they waited until I cashed out to ban me is beyond me. VERY SHADY! I've emailed customer service and asked them to show me documentation to support their claims. I'm waiting for their response.
Edit #1: I received a response from customer service. They state my suspension could be due to number of reasons such as speeding through a survey, providing gibberish responses, typing answers like "dk" or "na", answering the same the question the same way, or trying to manipulate the survey in some way to reach the ending page without actually doing the survey.
So now they're saying it could be due to a number of reasons. First, I can type fast and some survey lengths are long and some are short. I shouldn't be penalized for that. Secondly, I've never responded with "dk" or random letters in any survey. Thirdly, if I have a question in a survey that doesn't apply me I should be able to say that it doesn't apply to me. Would they rather I lie? I've also never tried to manipulate any survey in any way. Finally, if speeding or not answering questions correctly was the reason for my ban then why didn't you tell me that was the reason in the first email?? Their reason keeps changing. This is why survey websites have such a bad wrap is because instead of giving you a warning they would rather just ban you and it doesn't matter how long you've been a member. They don't even have the courtesy to email their members and let them know they were banned and why. Their members have to email THEM to ask why they're unable to sign in. That shows they have no regard for their members. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DISHONEST COMPANY!
Edit #2: I received an email from Katy at Toluna who saw my review on here. After doing her investigation of my account, she decided to reopen my account and I'm on a probational period. In her email she stated the same the reasons for my suspension as in the previous emails. I appreciate her reviewing my situation and reinstated my account. However, my IP address is still flagged as using a VPN and even though I'm able to sign back in I'll never be able to complete surveys on Toluna with my computer again. My original issue is still unresolved. How can it be that I've been completing surveys for close to 14 years and this the only website ever to accuse me of using a VPN even though my IP address has never changed and I've never used a VPN. I must admit that even though I'm able to sign back in, I'm reluctant to continue doing surveys for fear my account will be banned a second time.
Edit: #3. I took Katy's advice and tried resetting my modem and that fixed the problem. I'm able to complete surveys again.
Edit: #4 Restarting my modem worked for about a week but as of a few days ago I'm having the same message when trying to access surveys "We could not find a survey automatically. Please check if some are available in the list below or come back at a later time!". This the same message I received in February. I emailed customer service and they said I should contact my IP provider to change my IP address, use a different device (my mobile device is having the same problem), and that they would report this issue to their data quality team (they never did investigate because they never got back to me). This is an issue on their end because nothing has ever changed on mine. I will not work on Toluna anymore.
Edit: 6 months later and still having the same "sorry we don't have any surveys available to you" message. They still haven't fixed the issue and even with the site update the surveys still don't work. I don't recommend Toluna.

The rejected survey attempts are not caused by a problem or a flaw, it is simply how our system is designed; if a certain IP address is flagged in the IP databases, the system will not allow participation. IPs that are blacklisted in certain databases are not accepted in our surveys as they are associated with a high possibility of fraud and/or raise too many concerns over the general accuracy of the responses coming from them.The solution to this situation can only come from the user's end. As you've already noticed, as soon as your IP address was no longer flagged, access to surveys was immediately restored.

I've been a member for a few years. Their surveys are interesting and the rewards are fast. Their customer service is always professional, quick to reply and thanks you for being a member. It's perfect to enjoy feeling good about what to expect from this site. Highly recommend Toluna Influencers.

We sincerely regret hearing about Toluna’s perceived upsetting experience with us panelists.
Kindly note, that we panelist are always striving for high standards to accurately complete surveys.
Unfortunately, during our Data Quality review, we noticed serious concerns with your business practices. Our reviews detected that Toluna was not providing accurate information when immediately disqualifying a panelist from a survey, allowing a panelist to get around 98% completion of a survey then disqualifying the panelist for no apparent reason, suspending panelist accounts without detailed evidence, or advanced warnings of any wrong doings thus forfeiting their hard earned points.
Our Data Quality review also indicated that there well are over 2,025 negative 1 and 2 star ratings on your business practice. However, we cannot disclose in full details the techniques used to locate these massive negative reviews.
Toluna’s business practices is in violation with our Terms and Conditions of decency, fairness, and honesty, toward the panelist.
