The Center for Decision Sciences (CDS) was founded at Columbia Business School in 1999 and serves as a resource to encourage discussion between researchers in multiple disciplines and levels at the school. The Center facilitates research and understanding on consumer behavior in relation to decision making, public policy and the neurological underpinnings of decision making.

Some of the recent studies performed at CDS include: interactive decision-making tasks, short cognitive tests, solving brain teasers, as well as answering questions about taking risks, the value of an improved environment and general questions about politics.

Great rewards

You can expect to be paid about $16/hour for your participation if you qualify for a study. Payment amounts along with estimated completion length are listed prior to starting a survey, also bonus payments may be awarded depending on the study.

Qualification process

No pre-qualification questions are asked and no disqualification exists at CDS, although they may be looking for specific types of participants for various studies. Confidentiality is guaranteed and your information will never be sold to any third party. Participants must be fluent in speaking English, 18 years of age and residents of the United States.

I only wish that they offered more projects. I've only been asked to do two and was quite fairly compensated.

I love this survey site. They have the most interesting surveys - it's not the same old questions over and over. They pay extremely well, and quickly. The only drawback is that they don't have many surveys.

I notice you state it's only open to CU students & in New York. I'm in California & my "student days" are long behind me! They pay really well & when promised (PayPal). I've had to contact them a few times & they responded immediately. Turned-out the tech problem was on my end, not theirs. But they were great about it. I've taken 5 surveys so far; each one $12.00 each.
