Founded in 1999, Global Test Market is an online survey panel owned by Lightspeed Research, a Kantar groups company. Global Test Market is one of the world’s leading providers of market research and serves clients in more than 60 countries worldwide.

They rewarded their panelists more than $30 million+ USD in 2016 alone! As a panelist, you can earn points for completing surveys that can be redeemed for reward items from over 200 partners, redeem your points for cash via PayPal, or donate your points to charity.

Registration Process

Registering is easy, simple and free. Click the registration link where you will be asked simple questions about you and your household. The results are used to determine which surveys you are a good fit for.

Rewards Information

Each survey takes on average 15 minutes to complete and reward amounts depend on the survey length and urgency.

If you are screened out of surveys, you may be entered into a quarterly sweepstakes competition. For each sweepstakes entry you earn, you will be automatically entered into the drawing and if you are a winner, you will be notified via email. Remember to respond before the deadline provided to claim your prize.

LifePoints

For each survey completed, you will receive LifePoints, which you can accumulate to redeem cash and prizes. Each email invitation will alert you to how many LifePoints you will receive for taking the survey. LifePoints expire 3 years after being awarded the points, or after 12 months if there is no activity on the account.

On April 17, 2017, MarketPoints were discontinued and replaced by these new 'LifePoints' at a 1 for 5 conversion rate. Collected points can be redeemed for many different reward options, which may vary, depending on your country of residence. Rewards can be redeemed once you have accumulated 1,100 LifePoints ($10) in your account. Note that if you have a friend that was grandfathered in from the old Points program, they will be offered slightly different points than those who joined GlobalTestMarket after April 2017.

Types of Surveys Offered

Many of GlobalTestMarket’s surveys ask your opinion on movies, restaurant, automobiles, consumer products, current events, and a variety of other interesting and fun topics. You can also download the LifePoints app onto your phone so you can take surveys on your mobile.

Points Expectations

You can expect to earn between 35-250 LifePoints based on the level of complexity or urgency of the survey. Even if you do not qualify for the survey, you may still receive 5 LifePoints..

Option to Give Back

In addition to the great selection of rewards, Global Test Market gives you the option to give back to your community! Unicef charity donations can be redeemed with collected LifePoints.

Refer Your Friends!

You can refer your friends by entering their email when you are signed into your account. If they fill out at least 2 surveys, you also earn points.

Rewards Processing Time

Rewards usually take about 4-6 weeks to arrive if you are in the United States and 6-8 weeks for international panel members.

I'm starting to feel reaaaally pissed off...Nobody help me with a problem cashing my check, it's been three weeks now. The mails of "support" they sent are automatic, they all says the same i've already tell you. The number you provide is not working. The bank can't cash the check or deposit it to an account because the problem IS with the info of the check. The mail address they send in the letter with the check has give me no answer. I don't know if i'm starting to waste my time... After work great together for years....

This site has paid me but now there are about twenty surveys for me on their list yet i never qualify for any. points are not going up .given up on them

Update from my 2011 review: I've been a member of Global Test Market since 2010, before they started to make payments with Paypal. I used to have to wait 5-6 weeks to get a paycheck, (which they all arrived) but now with Paypal I get paid on time, everytime within a week or two. They have really improved over the years and always respond to emails. I love them :)

After doing surveys with this company for over three years, I suddenly find I am unable to log into my account or access my rewards. Several attempts to communicate with the company have yielded useless responses (such as asking me to write in English when that is the only language I use). Even when my password and email were confirmed, I found it impossible to log into the site. Global Test Market owes me well over 50 dollars in credits/rewards, and it seems nefarious for access to the account to "disappear" just when its time to collect the rewards. This company is going through some kind of major change and I fear a lot of loyal and valuable respondents have been taken advantage of and/or simply discounted entirely. DO NOT sign up with this company, and I also recommend avoiding its sidekick company Lightspeed Communications.

UPDATE: 05/08/2015.

They updates on your reward system in surveys:

* Surveys have less value in points. Example: Surveys 40 MarketPoints = 25 min approximately, now 35 Markets points / 25 minutes. Surveys 35 MarketPoints = between 15-20 minutes, NOW: 15-20 minutes = 30 points. 30 MarketPoints surveys, were lowered to 22 points.....

* The truth, they degraded the advantage given to the panelist.
* Payment via PAYPAL, before 2300 was MarketPoints = 100$. NOW: 2400 MarketPoints = 100$.
* Continue with technical problems start a survey error, limiting unless you do surveys a day. And from what I see, they are more difficult to complete surveys.

Have maintained is the seriousness payments, fulfilling the days ruled by them. Amazon Gift Card is the same value 1100 = $ 50, there was no modification.

Had qualified with 4 stars above, but now it under 1 Star = 3

GTM, it seems like a good option, but making these changes, I think they will continue losing panelists. Please give more benefits.

NEW UPDATE AUG 06 2015

.........It is becoming more difficult to survey in this company. Before they made their nefarious change daily was between 3-5 surveys, sometimes 2 but mostly between 3-5 surveys, approximately 80-130 MarketPoints per day! Per month, you could get 100 to $ 150, but since they began to "invent" it is very difficult to get 60 MarketPoints in one day, mostly I make between 22-50 MarketPoints ... They have much lowered their level, and apparently User complaints are useless. And apparently, there is always conformist panelists who make a survey and are excited by this ..... For the love of God! GlobalTestMarket is a great company, because they suffer panelists ??

The only good thing is that still maintain the seriousness payments, and improved their customer service, and has no technical as before, the other problems, it's bad!

1100 ($ 50) Marketpoints needed to redeem, MY GOD !! another against more negative for them, PLEASE !!, STOP THAT MINIMUM down !! Lower the threshold to 550 marketpoints ($ 25) to redeem award amazon gift card !! ... Reaching 1100 points has become very difficult ...

I remove half of another star for this reason.

If you want to make money and not waste time, think long before you join this company. 4 months ago it was very good, now it is very difficult ...

NEW UPDATE: 2015-09-27

OMG...

They eliminated the 5$ gift card ... my goooood....

Unfortunately getting worse this EX-great company, great company for many months, now is terrible ..

Surveys last much longer the time calculated for them. 40 surveys sent in 3 days, and qualify to 3 or 4 if much !! What a waste of time...

Not only that, the minimum threshold to redeem the rewards are MarketPoints 1080 = 45 $ paypal, 12000 = 50 $ Paypal, and they say MarketPoints 1000,.....AMAZON ONLY 1100 MP!!

Not only is it very difficult to qualify in the polls/surveys, to accumulate all the points can last a long time sitting at a computer to be lucky to qualify in 2-3 surveys !! There are days shipping to 20 surveys my e-mail, and do not qualify for any! Months ago, easily, I did four surveys daily without much effort ...


They have always paid me, but seriously thinking of closing my membership ...

Recommendations for users: FLEE !!! And the saddest thing of all, if a user complains to contact the customer, the company may close the account for that user .... They do nothing to improve your company, more profit for them. Users Fuck doing surveys ...

Recommendations for GTM:

* Lowering the threshold for payment: 525MP = 25$ Gift Card, 600MP = 25$ Paypal, or maybe a little more, but 1080MP??? MY GOD !. Before it was something easy reach that minimum now is very difficult.

GTM, still have opportunity again be excellent survey company, go go!!
