Survey Taking Experience

Take Surveys, Earn Points, Get Rewarded
As a LifePoints member, you can contribute your views and opinions by completing online surveys covering various aspects of your daily life. Other activities such as mini-polls, product testing and other types of data collection are also opportunities to earn LPs (LifePoints) to receive exceptional rewards including money and free gift cards.
Survey invitations are sent out by email and can be taken any time during the survey period. Members don’t need any special skills to complete the activities within LifePoints consumer panel. If you can contribute your thoughts and fill out the online survey, then you’re ready to go!
Survey Lengths
Survey lengths vary, however most surveys will take between 10-15 minutes to complete. Compensation awarded for every survey varies, and depends on its length, as well as the client's urgency for survey takers to complete it. The more urgent the assignment, the more points it will offer.
Receiving More Surveys
To ensure you're being invited to the maximum number of surveys, ensure your personal information on file is up to date. Do this by filling out the profile questions available in your account (which will earn you an extra 10 points!). This will help match you to the best possible surveys and will increase the number of market research studies that are most relevant to you and your lifestyle.
Earn Points for Disqualifications
If you start a survey but don’t get to finish it, LifePoints will reward you with a small number of points as recognition for your time and effort. Point amounts may be 2 or 3 points at a time and can help you reach a cash out sooner. You may earn up to 10 extra LifePoints a day this way, which means you can redeem your earnings for rewards sooner!

I was a member of Lifepoints for 12 years. It was the very first survey site I used, back when it was MySurvey. I had no problems with it until last week, when I tried to log in and got a message saying my membership was canceled. After I emailed support about it, they said my account was suspended due to poor survey practice. When I asked them what poor survey practices led to my suspension, they said my Terms and Conditions violations were overwhelming. I received no prior warnings about this and I really wish I could know what I did wrong.
I'm not sure what I did but after reading similar reviews here, it's good to see that I'm not the only one. This site used to be so good to me and it's sad to see this happening to so many users. If you're looking for a new survey site there's plenty of other options.

I have been a member of LifePoints for over 10 years and have been unable to log in. I keep getting a message to say that my membership was cancelled and to contact them if I have any questions. I have emailed twice but haven't received a reply. After reading other members comments who have been experiencing similar problems I'm wondering if LifePoints is experiencing difficulties!!!

While on the middle of a survey the other day, I was directed to the LifePoints homepage with a message that said my membership has been canceled due to violating terms and conditions. I contacted support and was told an audit of my account caused this.
I have been a member of LifePoints for over 25 years and always did my surveys honestly. This is so rude and disappointing from a well established survey provider. Shame on you LifePoints!!!!!

This use to feel like one of the better survey panels out there. It used to be pretty easy to qualify for surveys, and even when you didn't, you'd sometimes get a few points just for trying. This meant points accumulated fairly quickly, and it was easy to redeem them for good rewards. And user support was pretty good -- several years ago I had an issue with my account that they were able to rectify.
But a few weeks ago my membership was marked cancelled. This seemed to happen after attempting multiple survey links/invitations that redirected to cint.com, where that particular web site reported some kind of problem with the survey or my "account" (I use quotes because I don't have my own account with that site, but there's clearly some kind of integration there). Perhaps I should have reported it to LifePoints support after the first one or two failures, but I didn't.
I contacted LifePoints support, who took almost two weeks to get some kind of definitive answer: my account had been suspended due to "poor survey practices". Maybe I completed surveys too fast because I'm a fast reader and it's easy to quickly identify and answer demographic questions. Maybe I "straight lined" too much because the range of answers available wasn't satisfactory. Maybe some of my answers seemed inconsistent because my demographic information has changed as I've gotten older or my household income has changed.
What made it all the worse is even while my account was suspended, I was (am) still receiving a few survey invites from them that won't do me any good.
After reading through the reviews for the panel, it looks like a lot of other (former) members had the same problem about the same time I did. I don't know if some AI was being used to try to identify what they consider "poor survey practices", but judging by the number of recent reviews for the panel, I question the overall process, and wonder how many members are actually left.
Whatever the case, I'm not going to waste my time fighting it. And I suggest anyone thinking about joining the panel to consider whether they might encounter any of the same issues and avoid wasting their own time.

Just a heads up to anyone who wants to be a member of this site I'd suggest staying away..I was a long time member & just recently had my membership cancelled for an "unknown reason" saying that I violated something which is not true since I've been a member of over 10 years & had been cashing out on a regular basis since I complete alot of surveys on their site..I was in the middle of doing a drink diary & for some reason I couldn't log in & was told that my membership had all of the sudden been cancelled..no reason given as to what I did wrong & when contacting customer support they give you a canned response..So I'd advise anyone wanting to join that they will can you too if you cash out alot & for no reason at all
