I really like this Survey Site.

March 8, 2018 by Matt from Australia

I have been a member of MyOpinions now for over 5 years, and at the beginning it was a little slow in getting surveys, however as the years have progressed, I have been getting more and more. I tend to qualify for 80% of these surveys and last year, cashed out over $800 in vouchers. I am very happy with this site and have only ever had one issue where they banned me, however after investigating, we found that one of my mate's had been a little abusive in one of the surveys without my knowledge whilst I had to leave the survey for 5 min. This issue was sorted and I was allowed back.

Dont bother !

December 28, 2017 by Trev from Australia

Not worth the time for rewards received. I was able to cash in rewards once but never again after. After asking for assistance over and over again with out success their support team canceled my account and I had lost all of my rewards. Each time they kept sending me the same copy and paste answer that didn't work.

$100 gone just like that

November 27, 2017 by Jeffrey from Australia

My account had the equivalent of $100 in it. When I tried to cash in $50 to PayPal, My Opinions shut me out of my account saying I had breached terms and condition. Sent an email, they asked for more details, I replied, nothing. That was a lot of wasted time.

Update: after several emails my account was reinstated and I finally managed to get my rewards. I will continue with this survey site but take payments more frequently (I used to like to let it mount up to something substantial). When trying to get vouchers it would only allow me one $50 voucher out of my $100. As I tried again later it was about a week until I could claim my second, even though there is no mention of a delay between payments. I have raised my initial one star to 2.5 stars since they finally came good but not before giving me considerable grief. All I can say people, is that if you have been wronged, do persevere especially if you have a reasonable sum riding on it.

No Surprises

November 14, 2017 by John from Australia

The only heartening thing I find in reviewing "My Opinions" is that I find I am not the only one wronged by this group. I have been doing "My Opinions Postman" surveys for several years (Points Balance 27,659) and :"Opinion World" since December, 2016). All going well until 10 March 2017. I didn't qualify for all surveys, but suddenly from both "M.O.P" and "O.W" the most common message received told me, "unfortunately we are unable to record your participation in this survey", followed by four suggested reasons, all of which were absolute nonsense. After 10 March, I suddenly found that I did not qualify for a single survey. Wrote to "[email protected]". The reply repeated the previously received four suggestions and added three more - again, absolute nonsense.

Rang the 1-800 number (Connecticut, USA) and explained all to a woman who promised to look into my problem and get back within a few days. No reply after a week, so thought it advisable to cash in my rewards.

Surprise! Surprise! When I try to Log In, I am met with the notice, "Your membership has been terminated as result of the violation of the My Opinions Terms and Conditions." Letter to "[email protected]" and also to "[email protected]" to find out which of the Terms and Conditions I had suddenly violated and how I could redeem my reward points. Have not received an answer, and am not holding my breath.

Does anyone know if there is a contact point in Australia other than the three email addresses I have already used?

Does the Survey Police website offer any support for those of us caught up in this deceit, or is it merely a forum where those of us who feel cheated can let off a bit of steam?

The above was first posted back in May. No surprise that the 26 posts since my original all tell the same story. I followed up the letters mentioned above with a letter to Head Office in Connecticut. No surprise that months later a reply has not been received. No surprise also to find that MyOpinions now ranks at Number 83 out of 83 survey groups listed. The only surprise is that it is still listed at all, which can only mean that there remain unsuspecting people still doing their surveys who have yet to try to collect their rewards.
