Beginning early 2019, Lightspeed shut down MySurvey in some countries, and merged those members into LifePoints. In June of 2019, MySurvey panels and members worldwide were fully integrated into LifePoints.

MySurvey is an online survey community where members can influence the future of the products and services that they use each and every day. They've rewarded over $32 million USD worldwide to date! MySurvey is part of Lightspeed, both owned by WPP, one of the world's leading communications services groups. MySurvey has been collecting American opinions since 1946 as National Family Opinion, NFO and TNS. Payment and Rewards

Survey Types

Take online surveys on a variety of different topics. Typically survey payouts are between $0.50 to $1.25. Surveys vary in length, but usually you earn 10 points per 5 minutes of taking part in a survey.

Redeeming Your Points

1,000 points are the equivalent of $10 USD. You need at least 1,000 points to begin redeeming your rewards. Points are generally rewarded once the survey has been completed, but in some cases, points will be rewarded after the survey closes (which could take up to 3 months).

Reward Types and Amounts

My Survey offers an extensive number of reward options:

  • exchange your points for a payment to your PayPal account. 1,000 points = $10 PayPal payment
  • exchange your points for an e-voucher from a variety of different retailers. These include: Amazon, Boston Pizza, Aldo, Macy's, Payless Shoes, the Olive Garden, and many more (1,000 points = $10 gift card).
  • exchange your points for a cash donation to a variety of different charities. (1,000 points = $10 charity donation).
  • exchange your points for merchandise including small electronics, jewelry, small kitchen appliances, more. There are dozens of options to choose from. Point amounts vary per item.

Referral Program

MySurvey offers a referral program whereby referring friends and family from other households will net you 150 points (worth approximately $1.50).

Bonus Sweepstakes Opportunities

Every month, a few members are randomly selected to receive 10,000 points in exchange for being active on MySurvey. You receive an entry into the sweepstakes when you join the MySurvey panel and participate in panel activities (surveys, quick matches, mini polls or other activities offered).

For certain surveys completed, you will receive an entry into this same sweepstakes. The more you participate, the better your chances of winning the draw. The quarterly draw is for the following prizes: (1) reward of 500 Panel Points, (2) rewards of $250 Panel Points and (100) rewards of $10 Panel Points. If you win, you will be notified via email within 10 days of the draw.

Eligibility: Must be age 16+ to participate in USA, 14+ in Canada. Other countries may vary.

Suspicious

I have found, with a decent site, if you have a problem with a broken survey or missing rewards, they are usually quick to resolve it. I can't say the same for MySurvey. I had a couple surveys that I finished and wasn't awarded the points. I wrote to customer service and was told it would be resolved in 4-6 weeks. It has been 6 weeks and no response. I wouldn't be surprised if they do nothing hoping I will go away. Recently, I completed a week-long survey. Submitted the final results yet wasn't awarded the points I earned. I have written to them three times but no answer. Unless I receive some sort of positive response soon, I am going to stop using them.

Bad and losing ground

If you want bad/no customer service/support, opportunities worth 1/2 of what their sister company (Global Test marker) pays. Spending time to complete and then be advised that there is a technical error that will take 6 weeks get information to see if you will receive credit. THIS IS THE SURVEY SITE FOR YOU!

Not the best one to use

Have used My survey for about 5 years now. A lot of the surveys dont work or i finish them to the end & it errors. Have had quite a few fully finished surveys that i have never got points for. The reward points arent as good as most the other survey websites i use

About as much use as a sumo wrestler in the chorus line of Swan Lake.

If you enjoy devious, poor customer service, frustration and a sense of being taken for a fool and are a masochist, you`ll absolutely adore this site. I have been waiting for 5 weeks for them to send me an e-certificate to print out. Other companies take 2 or 3 working days and if you try and contact them with a view to getting an explanation, you get an unhelpful automated reply from another company, asking for information that you have already given and some that have no access to. They seem to be quite adept at stonewalling when a problem raises its ugly head.

The rewards, (certainly in the UK branch), are frugal and finishing a survey is not encouraged, even though they extract plenty of information from you before they kick you off the survey. Once I get my e-vouchers, I`ll be away because I don`t trust what passes for their version of integrity and for those contemplating joining this survey site, I would suggest going to another site - any other site is better than this one.

They have a very odd survey points value. A 5 minute survey generates about 50 points. One three times as long generates 70 and if you do one that takes 25 minutes, you will run away with a mighty 80 points !

A most odd company indeed.

Unethical survey panel

If I could rate this panel a zero, I would. After being a panel member for over 10 years, my account was suddenly made inactive. I contacted their Help desk several times over a one month time period. I left comments on their facebook page, and I even used the facebook messenger. I also filed a complaint against them with the better business bureau. Today, my case was closed with the better business bureau because MySurvey never bothered to reply to my complaint. From what I have read on facebook, other panel members accounts are also being made inactive just like my account is now inactive. The answers the help desk gives is nothing but a generic used for everything, telling everyone the help desk to just too busy to look into their issues. I have been taking surveys for many years, and I know if your account is made inactive, it can also be reinstated. I can only hope that anyone considering to become a member of MySurvey will Not sign up to become a member of this lousy, unethical survey company.

Update: Today, 7/12/17 my account was reinstated. Their excuse for making my account inactive was that I asked to be removed or didn't take surveys. I couldn't take surveys because in my account right now is a message that says " Sorry, no surveys are compatible with your device at this time." This message has been in my account for several weeks, and then my account was made inactive. I am using the same pc that I have for the past 10 years to take surveys, not a mobile phone, tablet, or anything else. I never requested to be removed as a panel member either. Lets see how long I am kept as an active member now.
