Beginning early 2019, Lightspeed shut down MySurvey in some countries, and merged those members into LifePoints. In June of 2019, MySurvey panels and members worldwide were fully integrated into LifePoints.

MySurvey has been collecting American opinions since 1946 as National Family Opinion, NFO and TNS. Payment and Rewards

Survey Types

Take online surveys on a variety of different topics. Typically survey payouts are between $0.50 to $1.25. Surveys vary in length, but usually you earn 10 points per 5 minutes of taking part in a survey.

Redeeming Your Points

1,000 points are the equivalent of $10 USD. You need at least 1,000 points to begin redeeming your rewards. Points are generally rewarded once the survey has been completed, but in some cases, points will be rewarded after the survey closes (which could take up to 3 months).

Reward Types and Amounts

My Survey offers an extensive number of reward options:

  • exchange your points for a payment to your PayPal account. 1,000 points = $10 PayPal payment
  • exchange your points for an e-voucher from a variety of different retailers. These include: Amazon, Boston Pizza, Aldo, Macy's, Payless Shoes, the Olive Garden, and many more (1,000 points = $10 gift card).
  • exchange your points for a cash donation to a variety of different charities. (1,000 points = $10 charity donation).
  • exchange your points for merchandise including small electronics, jewelry, small kitchen appliances, more. There are dozens of options to choose from. Point amounts vary per item.

Referral Program

MySurvey offers a referral program whereby referring friends and family from other households will net you 150 points (worth approximately $1.50).

Bonus Sweepstakes Opportunities

Every month, a few members are randomly selected to receive 10,000 points in exchange for being active on MySurvey. You receive an entry into the sweepstakes when you join the MySurvey panel and participate in panel activities (surveys, quick matches, mini polls or other activities offered).

For certain surveys completed, you will receive an entry into this same sweepstakes. The more you participate, the better your chances of winning the draw. The quarterly draw is for the following prizes: (1) reward of 500 Panel Points, (2) rewards of $250 Panel Points and (100) rewards of $10 Panel Points. If you win, you will be notified via email within 10 days of the draw.

Eligibility: Must be age 16+ to participate in USA, 14+ in Canada. Other countries may vary.

Going down the toilet..

I used love doing surveys for them but lately it's been a pain in the rear. Every time I submit a survey 8 out of 10 times I get the stupid error message. I can't even report it because it doesn't show up in my list of surveys that I've complete. Also, they need to speed up their pay out options.

Waste of my time.

I did a few smaller rewarded surveys with them and each one paid up and I have cashed out once. The whole process was easy but they took a bit longer to payout via paypal than most sites do. I would have kept on using them but I did a larger reward survey with them and I got the technical error message. As you can see from previous reviews I am not the not the only one. It has put me right off them even though I know they paid up on smaller reward surveys. I contacted them and they first told me they couldn't pay me because I didn't have a survey number! I told them they didn't give me one, so they then said wait 4-6 weeks. In other words go away you wont be getting paid. It never said anything about 4-6 weeks when I clicked on submit, it just said submit to get your points. It seems no one else has been paid for the larger reward surveys so I cant see me getting paid either. I will wait 6 weeks but I am not doing anymore surveys with them. I bet you they close my account. What a horrible company and such an awful way to treat people!!! If you must join this skanky site stick to smaller surveys, I wish I had then I wouldn't have left such a bad review. I refuse to be treated like an idiot and as if my time is worth nothing!!!! Here is what is written on The BBB: Consumers have reached out to BBB with reports that accounts were terminated or became inactive for no reason, survey points were earned but not awarded, payments were earned but not received. Consumers reported the business was unresponsive to them in their efforts to receive answers to their concerns.

I have been on My Survey for years, at one time they were excellent, not any more. Not many surveys, lower pay out, slow on pay outs, and the big one bad customer service. At one point I would have said that they were the best, not anymore.

Sent 4 messages to activate my account again. Had been medically laid up for a while and couldn't do any surveys so the account was deactivated. Can't get any help after trying over a week.

AVOID THIS SITE LIKE THE PLAGUE

I have been a member of MySurvey for more than five years and my patience with this site has ended today. I cancelled my membership to this “Waste Of Your Time Survey Site”. Like other negative reviews that I have read here, this site is just not worth your time. Many times you will spend 20 to 30 minutes completing a survey and then at the end click the SUBMIT button only to receive the following error message ‘”lbl_technicalerror_header”. You are then automatically logged out and have to re-log back into the site. You go to check to see if you were rewarded for your time and effort for the survey you just completed and you’re not. This has been an on-going thing with MySurvey in 2016. I’ve taken and completed the MONTHLY PURCHASE DIARY Survey (worth 600 points) more than 5 times this year never getting compensated each time, (that’s $30). I’d say at least six hours of my time wasted. Just recently received a form in the US mail to complete a BATTERY INVENTORY Survey (worth 1000 points), that’s $10. It took me 3 hours to complete the battery survey form and then enter the information online. Well what do you think happened? Yep, I clicked the SUBMIT button and received that notorious error message ‘”lbl_technicalerror_header”. I did not get rewarded. I contacted customer service every time about this and not once did I receive a reply. AVOID THIS SITE LIKE THE PLAGUE.
